Having worked on systems, i knew 1 Gig stock memory on the ASUS Eee PC 1005HA-PU1X-BK would not be enough.Purchased this after reading reviews here, that it works ok.Installation is dead simple, you just unscrew the bottom of the netbook where you can see the RAM slot sitting.Push the clip holders at both ends of the ram seated inside, and remove it gently holding it at the ends.It was detected without any problems and has been working fine since then,recommend you upgrade your netbook to atleast 2 gigs, its worth it!Syed

I bought an HP Mini netbook last month, just wanted to see what I could do with under $300. Netbook came with 1GB RAM, heck it's just notebook RAM, how hard could it be to upgrade to 2GB (some info said that was max). Info with new netbook said DDR2 SDRAM 1DIMM, nowhere is it listed exactly like that by memory sellers. Crucial has a look up tool, but didn't come up with part numbers available on Amazon. Gambled on this part, it took about 3 minutes to install and speeds up boot time and seems to speed up other operations and works fine.

Upgraded from 1G to the maximum 2G on my Dell Inspiron E1505 laptop. Installed the 2 1G chips and powered on. Memory was immediately recognized and my laptop booted up without issue. Been running well for 2 weeks now. This was a sweet deal... 2G memory for $40.

...I got some speed on my WIN XP! And this product was just what I needed. No issues, no hassles and easy to install. Excellent product. Will be adding more memory to my laptopsoon and will purchase from this company!

This was the easiest upgrade for my netbook. No problem replacing the old memory and inserting this. 2G does make a difference. I have a Toshiba which I also purchased from Amazon.

I have a first gen Macbook that I upgraded to 10.6, and along with this RAM it's like a new laptop for only $70. The sticks popped right in and the old Macbook booted up no problems. Can't beat that!

I bought this for my older MacBook, it has a 2.16gHz dual core processor. It was easy to install and really improved the performance. This is the best upgrade available for the money :)

Used on an older MacPro that would only go up to 2G. Working well so far! Speed maybe not as great, but the extra memory does help.

I bought the additional RAMs as part of improving my HTPC system. I am very pleased with the results. Dismantling the Aspire is a little tricky... Need to unscrew a hidden screw and then slowly open it up (it has clamps all around. I Had only 1 MB of RAM and installed this in parallel. The difference was very visible... I'm even thinking of additional g another 2 MBs in parallel (Take out the one that came with the unit). Its very good value for the money... My HTPC setup is working wonderful!! Just dont clog the system with many unwanted programs... Like any PC you'd be killing it!

I upgraded the RAM in my Toshiba NB255 from 1GB Generic Henix PC-5300 to this. Installation was easy, the netbook instantly acknowledged the upgrade and it gave me a great performance boost running Windows 7.

I've purchased at least 3 of these just this month. I've bought more before to use on Macbook Pro and iMac. The purchases this month were for the Dell Inspiron Mini 10Vs.I also bought 3 mini 10v on Amazon for my parents and inlaws. They are just great. But the design on the Dell mini 10v was a pain; it almost was designed on purpose so you can't reach the RAM slot to upgrade. Anyway, it took 20 mins of work for each, but I managed to upgrade them. Oh, one of them was for Acer Aspire One with N450.Netbooks automatically recognize the 2GB RAM.The boot up time remained the same for 1 or 2GB, but the application start up time reduced significantly. Also the time to process tasks improved dramatically.I've used Crucial memory on my iMac and Macbooks and Macbook Pro. They are great and very stable.I've had some problems with Kingston ones (the cheaper value ones) but over all I noticed the Crucial is better than Samsung and Transcend. I've had trouble with Transcend as well and their customer service ignored me forever, even after calling 4 times and left messages 4 times, they still didn't call me back.This product is highly recommended though the price seems a bit high now. A few months ago it was about half the price. But still, Amazon is where to buy because with Prime membership, no shipping and no taxes. If other sites offering for a couple dollars less, it still beats all of them to buy at Amazon.Five stars.

i bought this for my acer aspire one D105-1322 I believe it is. Definately 150 for sure not 250. Works great. Speed up and a lot faster then before. Less crashing also. Finally I can run Windows 7 Home Premium and Firefox. Got mine locally but same part number for 39.99 plus tax. Swap was easy. Remove screw and plate. Pop memory out and put in new Crucial. Best 40 I ever spent. Definately worth it. Go get it.

Great upgrade for my new Eee PC T91MT - Asus Eee PC T91MT-PU17-BK 8.9-Inch Intel Atom Netbook Computer (Black). Exactly as advertised. I went with this Crucial memory instead of the other options because I trust the brand. Easy to install and works perfectly. The packaging is standard slice-your-hand-open plastic but I expected that.

For my ASUS EEE PC 1005 PEB. The initial hardware installation was easy, open up the back plastic plate with a small screw driver,press the metal clips and out pops the original RAM, replaced it with this one and pressed down and the metal clips held it back into place. Make sure the card is sitting appropriately in the pins.I had trouble in the beginning, the OS wasn't recognizing the 2048mbs of RAM, I researched online to find a review here that said to keep pressing F2 while your computer boots, this will bring you in the BIOS and it should show you that you have 2048mbs of RAM, and press F10. I'm Glad its working, definitely worth the money to get this lil guy running faster.

I received the memory chip right on time with free shipping. It was installed in less time then it took to restart the pc. The netbook saw it and had no issues. Runs better now. Worth the $37 I paid.

I bought this 2GB set to replace the two 512MB memory modules I already had in my Gateway laptop (for a total of 1GB). The memory installation was relatively painless with no technical problems to speak of, though consumers should make sure the memory is fully fastened into place before screwing the case back on - one of my modules failed to be recognized and I had to go back in and push it all the way in. Not a big deal, but I would've liked not to loosen all those screws again.I have a Gateway MT6705 laptop with 32-bit Windows Vista, and I can tell the difference in speed. It's not a dramatic change, but the computer boots up and shuts down within seconds now when it took minutes before. I also have ran Photoshop CS5 with no crashing or slowing in speed. All in all, a great investment for the price.Make sure to go to [...] and input your computer model just to be sure this is the right module for you.

I just upgraded my HP Mini (210 - 1055NR, Windows 7 Starter). The upgrade was from 1G to 2G. It was easy, and my mini is working great - I can tell it now faster when running applications like Word.This was the first time I installed memory on a computer, it was pretty easy, one just has to make sure the memory module snaps in place (first time I tried it looked like it was fitted, but the computer did not boot up at all, then I tried again and heard the "snap" in place of the memory module, and then it was perfectly fine).
