The memory fit into my girlfriend's netbook with no problems or errors. The installation is easy as it usually is with notebook memory. It passed memtest with no errors as well. I would recommend for those people with 1gb netbooks who want to be able to handle more internet browsing or video playback.

bought netbook with 1gb decided to upgrade to 2gb used crucial memory before piece of cake to install took 2 minutes do not hesitate just do it do not pay geeksquad to install did make difference speacially in boot up wish netbook could take more memory but can not so just purchase simple install thanks jr music best price around piece.

I needed more memory in my little Acer, than came with it.It installed easily and saw it as soon as I turned thecomputer on. Planning on getting one for my 17 " laptop also.

I bought the slower version (667 mhz), which did not work in my Acer Aspire One netbook; so I purchased this slightly faster version (800 mhz), which also did not work initially. Then, I figured out that in hibernate mode the computer would not recognize the new memory, so be sure to shut down Windows completely from the Start button rather than hibernate or standby by closing the lid, when installing. When I did that, this 2 gb memory installed in a jiffy. And it peps up the netbook, so I recommend it.

Memory works as expected out of the box without any special bios settings. Amazon.com took 7 days to ship from date of order and 10 days total for delivery. I expected 5 days max from date of order. This is not normal for amazon but will probably pay a couple bucks to get it fast from newegg next time.

I bought this to upgrade the OEM 1GB of ram that came with my Asus Eee PC 900a. Even though the manual doesn't specify PC2-6400 as being compatible it works great.

Just as the title says, this does not fit an Acer Aspire AO521-3530 10.1-Inch Netbook (Onyx Black) that I got. Back to finding memory that works.

Look, if you're not ready to pull the trigger on a new lap top, but your old one is doggin' it, invest the money and buy these chips. You can get them elsewhere, but, I found Crucial to have the best price. After installation, my old Dell Inspiron runs like it should! Barring some unforseen issue, I'm guessing I just got 1-2 more years from my lap top because of this upgrade.Easy to self-install. Just pay attention and take your time! Take out the old, install the new, fire up, and WALLAH!Thanks Crucial!

I gave this memory one star because I didn't use it. Why didn't I use it you ask? Because the friendly folks at Crucial told me it would not work in my newly purchased ASUS 1005HA net book computer. When I ordered the 1005HA on Amazon, Amazon also recommended the CT25664AC667 RAM upgrade which I thought was a good idea to order with the net book. When I received the netbook and CT25664AC667 memory, I thought it might be a good idea to check with Crucial (trust but verify) that I had the correct memory for the ASUS 1005HA. Much to my suprise Crucial said that the CT25664AC667 memory was not compatible with the 1005HA and would not work. The helpful Crucial person stated that the CT1001597 was the correct 2GB memory upgrade for the 1005HA. I took their advice and returned the CT25664AC667 memory and bought the CT1001597 and all is well.Although Amazon was wrong, they deserve kudos for their hassle-free product return protocol. I wish all "e-tailers" were like Amazon.

This small upgrade is a must. Computer runs at (twice the speed. Don't even bother getting netbook unlkess you are willing to upgrade to 2 gig ram

I installed this 2GB memory chip several weeks ago and have had no issues. I am running Win XP on my Acer Aspire One netbook and wanted to bump up memory capacity since I like to keep many apps open at once. Netbook came with 1GB when I purchased, so I wanted to go to 2GB. Memory chip installed extremely easily on my netbook, just remove one small screw on memory compartment on underside of netbook, pull old chip out, insert new one, put screw back in, and boom, ready to go in about 2 minutes or less. I have had no memory errors or issues as of yet. I would recommend this chip for netbook uses who desire a mem upgrade.

Installed this as an upgrade to the stock RAM in an ASUS EeePC 1005HA-PU17. Not fancy or OC friendly but does its job well and hasn't had any errors to speak of. Arrived quickly and shipped well. Great RAM for the money.

Ease of installation will vary by the brand of computer. I have a Dell Vostro 1500, and it required a moderate skill level to install. Follow the manual that came with your computer. If you don't have it, download then print applicable pages, since you have to turn your computer off to install RAM.Computer is MUCH faster with the additional RAM. Graphics programs especially benefit, as does audio editing (I use Audacity). Very glad I upgraded my RAM..

I installed these memory chips in my HP dv6000 (Vista) to replace factory 1x1GB chips and increased total memory to 4GB. Should have done this long ago.

I bought this to take my Mac Mini to 2 GB from 1. Went right in, recognized fine and now I'm surfing with ease. I can actually do more than one thing at a time now. Where the Mini used to pause and hiccup, it's now smooth as buttah.Perfect.

I own the ASUS Eee PC 1000 10-Inch Netbook (1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 Processor, 1 GB RAM, 40 GB Solid State Drive, 20 GB Eee Storage, Linux, 6 Cell Battery) Pearl White.About a half-hour ago this Crucial 2GB 667 Mhz CT25664AC667 DDR2 200-Pin SODIMM Laptop Memory card arrived in the mail. I opened up and removed the small plastic cover on the bottom of my computer, released the clips holding the original supplied 1 GB memory card in place (when you release the clips, the card pops up for easy removal), replaced the original card with this one, replaced the cover, inserted the battery, and turned on the computer.This new memory card was instantly recognized.I did NOT have to press the F2 or F10 key. I do not know why some others had to do this (and I do not doubt their experiences) but, immediately after I installed the card and turned on the computer in the normal fashion, I checked the memory available - and there was my 2 GB of RAM showing.The entire mechanical installation process is quite simple and straightforward. The only tool necessary is a small Phillips-head screwdriver (mine came in a screwdriver set from Dollar Tree!) to remove the screws. Please note that, for the Asus Eee PC 1000 line, there are several YouTube videos which show in detail the whole process which takes no more than two or three minutes. The hardest part? Carefully removing the plastic cover on the back of the computer. The screws remove easily but there are several internal plastic clips on the sides of the cover (not visible) which must be released gently so as not to break them (they do seem robust, however).Once the cover is removed, actually removing and replacing the memory is simple.I have used Crucial memory cards in other laptop computers over the years and I have always found them to be completely reliable.Therefore I highly recommend this memory card, especially for Asus Eee PC 1000 owners.

I purchased the 2GB memory upgrade as suggested, when I purchased my HP210 notebook. I have tried several times to install it, however without success. All I get is a blank screen when I turn the notebook on. This was an extremely simple upgrade to my Toshiba netbook. Probably took less than 15 minutes to remove, install and boot-up the new memory. Very pleased with the pricing and operation.

i purchased my Lenovo s10-3t from amazon and also ordered 2GB ram to upgrade my tablet. It was very easy to change the RAM (checkout video on youtube). This has worked well for my Lenovo. No problem till date of writing the review (using for more than 1 month)

Purchased for my ASUS eeePC 1001P netbook. After dealing with the BIOS to get it to recognize the memory, the machine booted fine. Everything seemed ok at first, but the problem occurs on shutdown in battery mode. Windows will shut all the way down, however the power lights on the netbook are still on. This does not occur in AC mode nor does it occur with the OEM ASUS 1GCB stick. After some research both here on Amazon and on google this is a recurring problem with Crucial memory and ASUS netbooks. ASUS owners need to look elsewhere, preferably a Hynix brand stick, which is recommended by ASUS. Purchase a Hynix instead and it is working 100%.

At first, I watched a video in youtube "How to install a RAM memory" it looks very easy so I decided to upgrade my RAM memory, I was between Kingston and Crucial at the end I decided for crucial(it was cheaper). It was little bit tricky to insert the memories, I had to try three times, the first two my HP didn't recognize them and I was worried, then I realized that I had to push more in order to insert them correctly. I upgrade from 1GB to 2Gb, the increase in speed was awsome, I strongly recommend to upgrade your RAM memory before even think in upgrade your computer. My laptop is a HP DV6225US, and this kit fits perfectly to it.

Quick and easy installation in my Toshiba NB205-N330 Netbook with Windows 7. Faster boot and shut-down times. Overall better performance but performance improvement is not "earth shattering." Remember, netbooks were not made to be super-fast PCs but to be small and convenient. You'll have to decide if it's worth the $ to upgrade; I'd expect that the return with an average netbook running Win XP would be less. Never had a problem with Crucial memory.
