I found, and this would probably be true of all RAM upgrades and netbook models, that installing the chip and seeding it correctly within the Samsung NC10SE to be exceedingly difficult. It took more about 20 minutes to install it and have the chip properly placed.Once installed, the RAM upgrade seems to work and the speed/capacity is somewhat better than the 1 GB standard offered by Samsung.I gave 3 Stars for much of the same reason other reviewers have commented. Amazon seems to be recommending this chip for NC10's when it may not be the most appropriate RAM upgrade.

The only thing you can ask for when it comes to buying ram is "Did it work?" Yes it did, without issue. Very good value.

Just snapped it in the netbook (Acer Aspire One) and restarted for 2GB of memory. Unfortunately, there is only one memory slot in the computer, so had to remove standard 1GB to insert this 2GB. Good thing I didn't buy 1GB expecting to double the memory!

Crucial is a great brand, with quality products. In all my years of buying RAM I have never had to RMA Crucial memory, which is a lot more amazing than you might think. Maybe I have just been lucky, or maybe their QA is better than the rest -- but either way I am happy to be on a lucky streak with them.The install on the EEE 1000HE was quick and painless. Was a little hesitant to pull hard enough to open the cover on the bottom, but all was fine. Be sure to go into the BIOS after upgrading so the EEE will recognize the extra RAM.

I bought this to replace the standard 1 GB of memory that the Samsung NC10 ships with. The computer is much more pleasant to use with the new memory, and installing it was a breeze.

I just got this in the mail yesterday. I upgraded my laptop from 1gb so it's going to take a while to see much of a huge difference, but still I have noticed programs going much faster. In case you don't know, you can go to the crucial website and see if your computer is compatible. Always check before you buy any computer component to make sure you don't end up buying anything you can't use.

I bought this 2GB of RAM for a 3 year old Gateway Notebook which was running too slowly and whose hard drive was constantly trying to keep up. This 2GB is the maximum allowed on this notebook which came with 512MB of RAM to begin with.Now, the notebook runs MUCH faster and the hard drive is not crying for mercy all the time. It works like a charm.

It's RAM. What else can you say? It works in most netbooks. I confirm it working in 1005HA. On netbooks running Windows 7, there is a noticeable difference. Go for it!

Upgraded my HP Mini 1000 to 2gb with this. Improvements in Windows XP were noticeable. Itunes was especially happy since its such a RAM hog. Easy way to help boost your netbook performance..

There's not much one can say about a laptop memory module... So, the bottom line: this Crucial 2GB module is inexpensive and was very easy to install on my ASUS 1000HE mini-laptop (which came with 1 GB), a couple of minutes to open the latch, remove the original module and put this one. Since memory is the component with most impact on a system's performance, I recommend this cheap upgrade whenever possible.

I bought this with my netbook because everyone else was doing it. The shipment came earlier than promised and when I had a problem (dumb one on my part) and called they were easily accessible, and most helpful in solving my issue. 100% satisfied with the product, company and transaction.

Got this for my HP Mini 2140. It's a little faster than what the computer can handle, but it was cheaper and was still compatible. I have had no failed chips in any of my Crucial RAM, and they stand by their lifetime warranty. Highly recommended product.

After reading everyone else's problems and opinions I settled on this brand for the 1000 HE. Installed it and it works fine. NOT that much faster but better.

Well, there really isn't much to reviewing memory made by Crucial. As usual, it's perfect and works great with my Samsung NC10-14GB netbook. I bought the netbook, this memory, and a case as part of a package deal and the additional GB of memory provided by this 2GB stick, compared to the 1GB that came with the netbook, is well worth the cost. Running XP Home (pre-loaded on the netbook) with 2GB of memory is great, and this stick of memory gets the job done well.

Its working really great. Its working really faster. Before I had 2x512mb total 1GB ram. I replaced one 512mb with this crucial 2GB ram and the performance was rally great. I'll definetly recommend this to my friends.I am very much satisfied with this crucial 2GB RAM

I bought this for my 3yr old MacBook Pro. It's been about a month since I installed it, and it works great. I just love the speed boost computers get with some fresh ram. Anyway, this is also a great way to save money over the Apple ram they sell you when your buying a new computer. Picked Crucial because of many friends and professionals recommendations.

I replaced one of the two 1GB DIMMS my Dell Vostro 1400 came with. Put in one of this and powered on. Vista sees it as soon as reeboted and 3GB are now running on my sistem. A lot more info is now cached into the RAM waking up faster from sleep mode and giving a slight boost overall.Everest 5 reports my system still running on Dual Channel mode even with different size dimms.

Amazon's "Technical Details" for this part say that this SODIMM is a DDR2 PC2-6400 part. If you check the Crucial website, it's really a DDR2 PC2-5300 part. I can use either so I didn't really care but when the part arrived I verified that the Crucial specifications are correct and the Amazon specification is wrong.

I received the memory in good time, however it was dead on arrival.On insertion into my netbook nothing happened. I followed all the video tips on you tube, but alas still nothing. Amazon however have been AWESOME!they let you print a return label and have already refunded my card.
