I've used this camera for about a year now. It takes decent pictures and is durable. The only thing I could complain about is that it is a battery hog. If you are going on a trip, bring a pack or two of batteries along for this camera.

For an advertised "point and shoot", I find this camera much more difficult than it needs to be. I also wish it came with a dock for recharging instead of a battery charger. The pictures it takes are nice, though.

We bought this camera for my mother for her 65th birthday. She loves it! She is not very tech savvy and this was her first digital camera. It's very easy to use, compact and the pictures are great.

The picture quality is excellent in all lighting conditions. Very light weight camera which can be gripped firmly with only one hand. Flash takes a few seconds to recharge, but every other function of the camera is around one second or less (even startup is very fast).

6 MP can only deliver a certain clarity of the pictures. The memory card which comes with the camera has a capacity of 7 to 10 photos max. In summary a camera for the beginner; does not satisfy higher demand.

This camera is a great for those just wanting a everyday camera. It's screen is a little bit fuzzy but that did not really matter to me otherwise I think the camera was very good.

I have been using 35MM SLR cameras for years and this is my first experience with a digital camera,the Canon Powershot A630. I was impressed with the sharpness and accuracy of the colors. A great camera for the price.

I was afraid to buy this product, because I have no experience with digital cameras. My husband wanted one, so I thought it would make a great gift. It wasn't hard to learn to use and takes great pictures. I've made 8 1/2 * 11's with it and they were perfect. I would suggest buying a larger capacity memory card, as the included one is filled up rather quickly. It's pretty well priced, and it is a good quality camera.

This camera is a great! So lightweight and easy to use, I was taking pictures in no time. I did purchase a 1GB SD which is about all I needed for the amount of pictures that I wanted to take. It is very easy to use and I would highly recommend it.

This camera, in use since October, burns batteries at an incredible rate. After twenty shots, the batteries die. I have requested from Canon an explanation, they tell me to send it back for repairs. A big dissapointment

I almost purchased another camera that I saw on sale, but I decided to browse and spend a bit more. This is the camera I ended up with (after reading so many positive reviews).

The camera takes 4 AA batteries, but the battery life seems really good. I have already taken over 200 pictures with the same batteries. The results that I have gotten are every bit as good as the sample pics on Amazon (if not better). The flipping LCD screen is also nice so I can protect the screen.

My only complaint is the limited zoom. It's very difficult to take pictures of small things (bugs, birds) at a distance.

Im 100 percent happy with this camera. Without any lessons I am taking professional quality pictures and its very easy.

I found this camera great, the only problems I have with it is when using the viewfinder, the view though it would be significantly smaller then the final photo, making it harder to frame a good shot. The battery metre is also not very good so it important to carry a spare set. But on the whole it is a very good camera.

I already owned a Kodak 4 mega pixel Easy Share camera, but bought this Canon to get better close shots. Because the manual is so poorly written, instructions about taking close ups and manipulating the camera in general are almost impossible to comprehend. I would not recommend buying this camera which I find to be a great disappointment and no improvement over the Kodak model I already own.

I love my new camera. It is easy to use. The only drawbacks that it has are that the AA batteries don't last very long and that the shutter time isn't fast enough for those action shots.

although I've yet to explore all the features of this camera, it makes fabulous pictures and is easy to use. two of our friends have already purchased this same camera after using ours!

very small and light, perfect for a girl,had no problems with it. the only thing is you need to buy more gigs as the memory card that comes with it won't do it for a traveller.

This is an awesome camera. Worth every penny. The quality is stunning. Shutter speed is so fast. I would highly recommend this as a starter cam.

This is basically a good camera if you shoot only indoors or in cloudy conditions. The display is absolutely useless in strong light and only passable the rest of the time. That means that the cool feature of Stitch Assist is unuseable unless you are in dim light since you need to see the display clearly in order to line up the images. Very Dissappointing!!!! When using this camera I found that I had to look through the viewfinder more often than not in order to get a look at how the photo would shape up. Not what I expected when I invested in my first digital camera.

Buyer beware of how you intend to use this camera before buying.

We had an A75 so the A630 was an upgrade for us. The A630 is everything we needed and more. The ONLY short coming we've encountered so far is the lack of photo quality in low light situations.

Amateurs must buy this one,, good and clear pictures, no charging hassle and fast focus... bright flash too

It takes great pictures, is easy to use, and is compact. The instructions are easy to follow. I like the possibility of using regular or rechargeable batteries.

For a beginner like me at this digital thing - it was a great deal and nice to have it all in one package. I had everything there and it was easier for me to figure out. the pictures are wonderful and the camera is easy to use. the kit has everything you could need to take pictures and take care of your camera. I am very happy with the camera and the prompt service I recieved.

I love this camera. I bought it after we had our camcorder and other camera got stolen. Now I have both all in one. It has so many settings for everything. Highly recommend!!!

its a good camera for the money. its does alot of different things, it takes good video.

but its a little delicate, i have experience some shutter & focus problems.
