I like it very much. It protects the camera well. You don't need to get your camera from it if you will take a shot. You only get it if you will charge your battery or get your SD.

The print was easy to setup on my network and looks great. So far it has given me no problems at all and has been great for document printing. Make sure you check out the specs however as this is a pretty big printer overall.

The set-up process for this printer was a complete nightmare. I'm a techie (make my living designing software), and this thing took me two hours to set up. I would NEVER purchase this printer for another person, and especially not a non-techie. The technical documentation is long, confusing, and poorly-written, and the images used to illustrate the process are so small and muddy that they're not helpful in any way. Next time I buy a printer, I'm switching back to HP: HP Officejet 6500A Plus e-All-in-One (CN557A#B1H)

I have tested the Canon S100 and have to say that it is the best travel camera of this form factor. For everyday use with CMOS BSI high sensitivity Full HD HDR and all other things, the S100 is for photographers who want to get the best image quality on a compact size camera.I wish it had a faster long focal length though.

I love this printer. And it probably has more features than I will use or understand. But for an advanced printer it works in a way that is surprisingly simple. And with ink and cables included in the new printers it is ready to go right out of the box without any new items to purchase.

Pretty hard to beat an $80 all-in-one printer, and this Canon does not fall short. Print quality is exceptional for such an inexpensive box. Setup was a little frustrating as you must use the software to setup the printer (ie: there is no way to connect to the wireless router the first time without using a computer and the software).Copying is a breeze- one button and done. The auto-document feeder works well... not perfect but no complaints at this price point.The scanner is great, too. You just press the scan button and the software loads on your computer, automatically saves the files to PDF and you're done. Very cool!I tried fax once. Seemed to work outbound. Biggest "bug" about the fax is that you cannot set the incoming fax to manual. It has two "auto" modes, which invariably pick up the line when you don't want/need it to. So, I had to unplug the phone line from it (since I only have one line). Really wish it had a simple manual-answer mode!One other note about these inexpensive printers- you pay a lot for the Canon-brand ink. The "XL" size cartridges (combo pack) was $48 at the local store! Ouch!Still, I really like the printer. Works great and it's a wireless all-in-one for an amazing price. Hard to go wrong on this one.

This printer has worked perfectly for me. The wireless connection was challenging at first but did not take more than an hour. The ink on the pages are very crisp. The printer itself is very big and heavy though, I would not suggest this model if space or bulkiness is a concern.

Very good quality, I want to recommend you this printer, the problem is when you want to print from ipad, you cannot to do this, because right now, they don't have the program to print just pictures. if this point for you is not important, BUY IT....THE PROBLEM IS JUST WITH IPAD

Just what I was looking for, good looking compact printer/ scanner and the fax feature is cool. As long as you are not printing photos a lot this is a great choice for a home/ small office printer, it was slightly difficult to set up, but it come out fine in the end. Now if I could only figure out how to print from my iPad that would be great.

I bought it to replace the flat bed scanner and a small printer with one device. The fact that I get copy functionality was a big bonus. It took 7-8 steps (just follow the manual) to set up the wireless but it works like a charm; the steps are very precise. I have been using it from Mac OS X Lion and Snow leopard as well as Windows Vista business and 7 based computers; haven't tested it out from my linux machine yet. The minor issue I have with it is that there are 2 document feeders: one for the printer and one for the copier/scanner/fax. But the next model in this line of machines was a $100 more with a bottom-front tray for the printer document loader. Slightly bigger in size but fit with my standard L shaped computer desk easily. Just make sure you measure your desk space.

Firts off i want to say anyone that is looking at this printer should NOT read the CONS here. THIS THINGS ROCKS!!! As for the bad reviews,,Please.. At first i was a lil scared from the posts and when it arrived 38 hours after i clicked submit i was even more scared from the packaging.(FAST SHIPPING).lol It was really bad but the printer was safe in its own box. Yes its overkill on the safty packaging but i can see why now.. The box that it was shipped in was beatin to death..haha. After all the unwraping and finding a safe secure spot for it ( due to other posts from it's aggressive behavior )..HAHAHA i had my 12yo son help me set her up. After 45 min of set up from him and i was off getting dinner ready he was done.. All 6 PCs worked perfictly with no glitch at all and after he read the other posts he laughed and said maybe they need to go back to school..He also said what do these people want? Do they want this thing to print and bring it to them and read it also..HAHAHA BOTTOM LINE IS THIS PRINTER ROCKS!!!! Great price for a slick look and smooth setup..Thanks Amazon

So far the printer has done what I need it to do. I am slightly unfamiliar with computers and can't quite figure out the fax hook up and haven't tried printing from another room. I still have the usb cable connected to my laptop but I have no doubts it will preform to my expetations. My last printer was also a cannon but was not wireless and that is why I chose the MX410 this time. I really like the print quality of pictures. The quality was surprising from such an inexpensive printer. I have always recommended Cannon to my freinds because of the quailty and durabilty I have had from my first one.

This is the best printer I've ever bought in my whole life. And I've owned quite a few printers over the years. This printer is huge, but it's got so many features...the wireless capabilities, the top loading design found in office quality printers, the ability the print directly from digital cameras, etc. It's simple to set up. The print quality is great. I really love this product.

If you're into night photography, look elsewhere--this camera disallows ISO speeds higher than 80 with exposures longer than one second. I was hoping for a pocketable alternative to my DSLR rig to take on the go without losing creative controls, but this flaw completely removes the S100 from consideration. I've taken good moonlit landscapes with an old Powershot A1100 at 15s/ISO 400 or higher; it's unbelievable that Canon's latest high-end ultracompact is a less capable night shooter than a three-year-old entry-level point-and-shoot.

I think these particular professional reviewers, digitalcamerainfo.com, technobuffalo.com and cameralabs.com , know enough about the technologies involved to make their evaluations of any camera worthy of consideration. The cameralabs.com reviewer in particular seems to be very balanced, fair, and unbiased (in my opinion). This is the kind of 'in depth' analysis that a potential buyer needs before making a purchase. The review on technobuffalo.com has a nice video of the reviewer's impressions in case you want to 'see' the unit in action.

Runs out of ink after printing about 30 pages. Worst ink-hog printer I've ever had. Also, it won't even scan something to your computer when it's out of ink, even when there's no need for ink! Total piece of crap. I need an affordable scanner or I'd throw it out the window. As it is, I'm having to order a laser printer to print and keep this thing just for scanning/copying. Total waste of space.On the plus side, scanning is a piece of cake (when it has ink).

I received this printer as a replacement for my MX340 that had a paper jam that would not clear. It was refurbished. After about a month and half paper would not feed through it. So I contacted Canon and they are sending a refurbished replacement, we'll see how long this one lasts!!

Have had this little gem for 2 weeks now and have some thoughts.Positives:1) Incredibly attractive design.2) Very well built.3) Fantastic image quality4) Low light champion in pocketable class of camera5) Pro featuresNegatives:1) Poor Battery Life (already bought a second battery)2) Lack of complete control over flash output.Price is a bargain relative to what you get. I have never been so impressed with a camera in this class and have owned a PanasonicLX5 as well as Canon s90.I can't put this thing down!

IT'S NOT BAD FOR THE PRICE YOU PAY. ITS LIKE AN SLR STYLE CAMERA COVER.THE ONLY THING A LITTLE AWKWARD IS THE WAY IT OPENS AND CLOSES.TOO MANY BUTTONS AND THE DANGLING BACK COVER WHEN IN USE IS ANNOYING AT TIMES. OTHER THEN THAT ITS PRETTY WELL BUILT.

I'm trying to understand why one would want to take a camera that's meant to be compact and easily accessible, and to strap on huge, bulky, cumbersome, figity case onto it. It's looks well made and the price is right for genuine leather and the Canon name, but the low price also is a clue as to that many more people other than I can't figure out why anyone would want it for this camera.

I love this printer. Print speed is great. The scanner works really well and the feeder does not jam like the Epson. The built-in wireless function works well with Mac OS. We love it so much we have several MX series printers.I just wanted to report here that the printer and scan functions work fine after upgrading to Mac OS-X Lion.HOWEVER, the drivers downloaded by Lion automatically do not work. When I started Solution Menu and click scan, I got an error window.Then, after some searching, I found that you have to download new versions of the following rather than relying on Lion's automatic software update. (Canon sure does not make it easy. They have a OS Lion page but it says nothing other than that the printer is supported.)Download The Drivers, Solution Menu EX and MP Navigator EX from this link:These drivers are listed under 10.6, but the fine prints say that they work fine with 10.7(See link in comments. Seems like Amazon's editor does not allow url.)

I looked through the comments on both Canon and HP all-in-one printers and decide to buy this one...seemed very comprehensive. However, I was very disappointed with this product. Very difficullt to set up and the instruction sheet is terrible. Called the Canon help center, very nice people there. But at the end, suggested that I returned and asked for a new one! This is the first time I tried Canon printer and may not try that again. Instead I bought an HP printer/scanner + wireless; it was wasy to set-up, clear instruction, and it works great with Vista, Window 7 and my daughter's Apple laptop. Though, it requires feeding one page at a time to do scanning or copying, I am ok with it. For a family usage, I have to say HP is easy to use and easy to set-up even with the wireless network! I bought it at Wal-mart at $~50. Still like Amazone.com...it did provide good service & full refund.

Totally taken aback to see these poor reviews, I have been using this camera for a little over a month now and I am totally satisfied with the quality of the pics. I have used it at family gatherings, concerts, daylight, nighttime, these are the best pictures I ever saw on a compact camera period. I recommend this camera to anyone that's looking for excellent pictures but don't want to carry around a full size DLSR.

Like the printer. Set up was not so easy for me as some of the others have suggested, but it might be my computer (or user error). Haven't figured out the scanner yet, and can't find the scanner instructions, yet there are very clear fax instructions. Kind of annoying... will probably have to call. Overall this looks really nice in my apt, not so industrial and clunky as other printers I have owned.

I am very pleased with this printer - It does a fine job of printing pictures, as well as other printing and copying jobs. Scanner and fax also work very well, and was very easy to set up. I would recommend this printer to a friend. Great machine for the money.

The camera is not completely covered by the case. Dust may get in easily from the two big holes on left and right sides. What's more, it takes some time and effort to open the case as the snap is located at the bottom of the case. If you were fond of capturing transient scenes, don't buy this case since you would miss most of those scenes right after opening the case.

I'm not technical, at all. I also am not good at directions. I tend to put things off if I have to put them together or set them up. So I was so happy when I saw the directions were very easy step by step and was in shock when I got done setting it up and it had been SO easy!First of all I needed to make a copy and I followed the directions, but really, it's self explanatory. I could have done it on my own. And I've never had a printer or copier/scanner (always used my family's).Then I had to set it up to run wireless from my netbook. This was probably the most confusing part, but I was able to do it all on my own without any help! Everything runs good and the printing quality seems great!Shortly after I got this I was at an office store and out of curiosity I looked through the printers there. I was shocked how expensive they were! And they seemed to do the same things this one could do. So I would say that you definitely get your money's worth!I received this product free of charge via the Amazon Vine program in exchange for an honest review. Canon, Why did you change the sensor from CMOS to CCD? On these sized models, the only reason is to provide faster video flow for HD.But, this is a camera, not a cam corder. CCD's (as on the S90/95, and Panny lx-5) produce far suprior results. But, small CMOS chips are easier to produce in house.The result? $100+ more money for a camera that isn't as good as its predecessor... for the purpose of lining their pockets at the expense of the rest of us. Shame on you Canon!

It fits the S95 perfectly and well made out of leather. It's actually custom made for the S95 by Canon. Can be attached to a tripod without taking the case off. Highly recommended.

Difficult WIFI setup, called Canon tech support finally got up and running in an hour+ with their help after many failed attempts. You may need to connect printer to network manually first via on-screen setup menu then run the setup disc. It is quite loud when printing and there is no back light to see control panel in the dark. But for my modest printing needs it's worth the trouble and expense. It seems well built for a all-in-one unit at this low price point.

I just bought it from frys for $20 after rebate in a bundle deal with a computer.The printer's wifi capability is very useful. Now all my computers can directly connect to it to printor scan, without the need of an always-on server like I did before. The setup takes some effortfor the wifi part. But is not difficult at all. The multi-sheet auto-scan is also very convenient.Overall, I am very satisfied with it.

If only they had kept the CCD sensor and not gone the CMOS route! CMOS only has an advantage in DSLRs with much larger sensors. The images are MUCH blurrier than those from the s95. I primarily use the 24mm wide-angle; the extra zoom means nothing, and the GPS (plotted pics on google earth) accuracy is not even close to accurate, but sure does chew up the battery!How about a real upgrade Canon? 12.1 MP are NOT necessary, and are probably behind causing the lower quality! Keep it at 10 please!

This is a nice quality case. The only issue that I have with it is that the case has to be unscrewed and removed every time just to change the battery or remove the card or allow a cable to plug in. I guess just the nature of the beast with this design. But it is a quality case.

I bought this for my mother because it has both fax and scan capabilities. I connected it via the included USB cable without any trouble, just be sure to follow the sequence of instructions. I've always had HP all-in-ones, but I have to say that this Canon All-in-One operates smoothly and easily and was easy for my mother to learn. And the price is great!

Not sure if it is genuine leather. It fits my S95 perfectly and looks and feels much better than the cheapo Case Logic bag that I bought with the camera. It allows me to take photos without removing the camera from it. I secured the camera to it with the tripod screw at the bottom so it won't drop.

My first S100 review in November, 2011 was positive, but it's been downhill ever since. I have not encountered the dreaded "lens error", however there are problems. The image quality is not acceptable. There's a lack of detail and sharpness. The camera occasionally selects inappropriate settings - whether in Auto, P, or other modes. Sometimes it gets completely confused. The camera is back at Canon for repair. Hopefully the problems will be corrected.

This is so awesome. This puts my old printer to shame. The picture quality is so unbelievable. I printed a recipe with a picture and it looked like the original. I can't wait to print some pictures of the family. Thanks Canon for another great product. This is my second Canon over the last 20 years. I had one with my first computer.

I love this all in one printer. It is small, but does everything, you can't beat the price! The quality of the printing and scanning are very good (to my standard). Fairly easy to set up by following the instruction (I am a female and I did it all by myself in about 20-30 minutes, and NO, I am not the handy type of girl in general. BTW, after setting up with the first computer, the second computer was much easier since you can escape lots of steps, the printer is already in your network). Other viewers pointed out that the Printer "eats" up ink too quick, I haven't had experience yet since I just started to us it and haven't had the feeling how quick I will need to replace the ink.

Product is a perfect fit for the S95. Just received it but am slightly concerned that maybe due to my fat thumb and the leather cover, it seems rather hard for me to press the flash button and menu with ease. maybe it is just my thumb :(

I wanted something that was like an old case- snap off, that i wouldnt have to pull out of a pouch andthat fit my camera. so it suits it fine, but i really really wanted real leather, already having returned a case that was sold as leather but ended up faux leather. i'm exhausted with the search adn will keep this one- at least it fits.
