So, I love the monitors features and it's display capabilities, that being said, however, I have a major issue with this monitor and will never buy another, even if it were only $100 and not $139. I ordered this May 1st, with overnight shipping, received it May 2nd, opened the box, plugged it in... no power light. Come to find out, the power switch, a mechanical push in, was wedged out of place so improperly I'd have had to have used my own tools to fix it, voiding the warranty. Attempted to contact the manufacturer, they'd send an advanced replacement, would take 3-5 business days to recieve the new monitor, but they'd also place a hold on my credit card for the amount of the initial purchase until they got the defective unit back. They had another option, where I send the monitor in (3-5 business days) they process it (probably 1-3 business days) they ship me a new one (3-5 business days.) I didn't ask about who paid for shipping. Instead, I processed the return through Amazon. Amazon did an amazing job shipping out a replacement the same day, and scheduling a UPS pick up for the broken unit. I get the new unit, instead of simply the monitor crate it's packaged in a second box with some light packing materials (good on Amazon for that!). Open it, set it up, plug it in.. no power light. Look at my power switch, and it's slightly askew.. I was able to get the monitor to power on without tools, but I'd be hesitant to try to turn it off the right way. I'll have to unplug it from AC power if I want to shut it down. This is a design flaw. The mechanical power switch requires too much range of motion to activate and can be easily wedged into an unusable position. The performance of the monitor thus far is stellar, the power switch issue aside, so I'll keep it, but I won't order Viewsonic again unless it's a more modern designed power switch. I suggest you look at other similarly priced monitors. 2 Stars from me because of that major issue. Had I not had design issues with 2 monitors in a row, it'd be a 4-5 star review.

Returned. Could not be recognized by my 2011 Mac Air. The product was light and easy to handle but there were no complete instructions for set up.The PowerPort seem to be shaky - it wiggled when I pushed the power cord in. I had to move it around in order to get the power into the monitor. One of the two HDMI ports was loose. It was difficult to get the power button to respond to my pressing - it would take sometimes five or six tries to get the monitor to turn on. Sometimes the monitor would turn on with the first press. This CD and information that was packaged with the monitor was woefully outdated.I have owned two ViewSonic LCD monitors in the 1990s. Those two monitors not only function well they were well made and well built. This monitor may have a great picture but the build is extremely junky. Before I made this purchase I read many of the reviews here at Amazon. Some of them said the picture was far superior to anything in the price range. That may be so since I didn't get it to work I couldn't comment on the picture but I can tell you the build is junk.I'd be very careful about buying a ViewSonic monitor. I certainly suggest anyone buying this monitor be aware and make sure you go over good as soon as you get it.Having said all that Amazon took it back and gave me a complete refund. Cheers to Amazon! Not sure why I gave it one star! Oh, I know, because it was well packaged - easy to get out and easy to pack up for return!

The monitor was fine once I was able to get it to turn on, and that's the problem. I had spent half an hour unpluging everything at my desk, cleaning everything and re-organizing all the plugs and jacks before installing the new monitor. It wouldn't turn on. I went to my laptop and searched the negative reviews here on Amazon to see if there was a common problem with a simple solution. It turns out the bad reviews were correct, there's a design flaw with the power jack on the back of the monitor. The power cord doesn't "click" into place and won't make an adequate connection unless you play with it, pushing it in and twisting it until the monitor power light goes on. Once the power turns on you can't let anything touch the monitor, or even your desk without risking the plug coming loose. Hell, I couldn't even look sideways at the monitor without the plug disconnecting, until I was forced to use a piece of packing tape to hold the plug in place. BAD BAD design that probably could have been fixed at the factory with a cheap part for a few cents which the company chose to ignore. After posting this review I was contacted by Viewsonic with an apology, saying they had "identified a potential loose power cable issue on a few of our VX2753mh-led units when shipped from the factory" They sent a replacement transformer and cord that clicks into place when plugged into the back of the monitor. It works fine now.

Why I did not give this product top rating: the controls on the monitor do not correspond to anything the monitor does. Syncing to the Mac is an unfriendly and incomplete business. As others have noted, the base is bobbly, and there is no way to attach it to a more sturdy sort of holder. There is software to improve the audio which does not work on Mac; I bought a set of speakers and plugged them directly into the Mini.On the plus side, the picture is okay so far, and the device was wonderfully inexpensive. I'll probably buy another one so I can take the Mac Mini from this location to that without transporting a monitor. I would recommend it to others but with the warning that hooking it up and correcting the picture is a frustrating business which cannot be accomplished via the monitor controls; it has to all be done through the Mac system software. You may need a cable as well. Also, go ahead and buy some speakers.

Got this monitor as a christmas present via JR.com from my parents. my previous LG had crapped the bed almost 6 months prior. i wanted a monitor to alleviate stress on my aging Vizio 120hz 37 inch hdtv. this monitor could not be easier to setup. My friend and i unboxed it and screwed the stand on. after that we merely hooked in the HDMI to my phenom X4 3.2Ghz tower. nothing could be simpler, the picture quality is great! we scoured youtube for an hour and this monitor has picture quality that would make high end TVs blush. the level of detail i saw, the depth of images and mud and natural colors and as well as a great color palette including a magnificent grey scale and white scale so that snow is clearly a different shade then the white on your webpage or FB start screen. it is these small details that push this monitor to the head of the pack. the only issue i encountered was with my ps3. i tried to use it on the monitor and the speakers went bananas. i am guessing that has more to do with a ps3 setup issue then the new viewsonic monitor. aside from that, the only gripes i have are superficial. i love the monitor for the most part but the parrot logo has got to go. its on the platsic, not a sticker. it looks like an angry birds game logo. its cute, but it also looks....cheap. also, i feel like the bezel could be cleaned up. there is a order around the edges that basically helps offset the built in speakers protruding. it helps that but overall, it detracts from the monitor. from a distance this thing looks like an LG or samsung. upclose, you go great monitor but ive probably never heard of the brand or the overall design of the exterior could have been better. please note though none of these issues detract, merely side notes. the only other comment i can offer is that the stand needs to have an extremely level desk. i noticed that in my bedroom where its located it leans forward badly even with the stand. this monitor excels in every area it needs to. if you want to nitpick about color, then you can for sure fine tune calibrate it. my friend is an avid camera enthusiast and he viewed some of his shots on this, and its damn near a photo studio video editing quality picture you get. this thing makes my vizio look like junk. my biggest wish is that viewsonic would apply these specs to a 40 inch HDTV. overall could not be happier.

I bought this monitor to replace my 5 year old factory Dell monitor. Wow, what a difference! I really had no idea how fuzzy and dim my old monitor was. The new monitor is great. It was super easy to hook up, I just used the supplied VGA cord that came with it, but it also has HDMI and DVI input ports. The stand went together easily, and does a pretty good job of stabilizing the monitor. I saw one other reviewer thought that the stand was very wobbly, but I think maybe they didn't click the neck all the way into the base because mine is pretty solid. The picture clarity is excellent, and the colors are bright and vivid. I haven't tried the built in speakers, as I have my own speakers that I like to use, but I can imagine they are probably as good as you can expect from tiny little speakers. I'm sure they work, but the sound quality won't be there. This was an excellent buy at only $150 shipped for free with Amazon Prime. I would definitely buy this one again!

I purchased this monitor to use as part of a 2-screen setup. Because it is so wide, I am actually able to view 2 windows on this monitor alone (when viewing two windows side-by-side, each is slightly smaller than full-sized). The screen displays images and videos beautifully. The image quality puts my second, smaller (and slightly older) monitor to shame. As the product description indicates, this widescreen monitor is highly adjustable. The screen can even be easily rotated to a vertical orientation; however, this makes the monitor extremely tall, and I find the monitor is (for my purposes at least) much better suited to a normal horizontal orientation.I have used this monitor for more than a year and have had had absolutely no problems with it.

This monitor is inexpensive and appears to provide a nice display. It is very bright, in fact makes my older secondary Samsung LCD display look dull in comparison. The colors are very good. I bought this to replace a 3 year old Samsung monitor that was having problems. Apparently some of them had inferior capacitors in them that start up the display when turned on and mine started blinking for about 5 minutes when turned on before warming up. I've only had it a few weeks but it seems to do the job very well. Since I'm mainly using it for office type work (MS Ofice suite, email, and browsing, I don't know how the response times are for gaming.Apparently 22 inch displays are not all created equal. My old Samsung had an 11-1/2 x 18-1/2 display. This Viewsonic is 10-1/2 x 18-1/2. The difference is very noticable but doesn't effect what I use it for all that much.

Before purchasing the ViewSonic VX2453MH-LED monitor, I had been using another ViewSonic monitor that I'd owned and used daily for 10 or 11 years (including long hours spent working from home). The old ViewSonic monitor still works great, but I wanted to upgrade to a widescreen HD monitor. Knowing my old ViewSonic monitor had never let me down, I did not hesitate to go with ViewSonic again. So far, I am extremely pleased that I have.Setup was a breeze. While the monitor worked immediately upon my plugging it in, I had to do some finagling to install the recommended drivers. (The problems were Windows-based, not a problem of ViewSonic). I had already used the monitor for a day or two before I upgraded the drivers, but it was worth it. The picture quality vastly improved, even though I am not currently using the HDMI input. Knowing that I am not getting the full HD quality as of yet, I am still extremely pleased with my monitor. I am not using HD only because my computer doesn't have an HDMI output. I'll wait until I buy a new computer to go full HD, but this monitor is impressive even without it.The one tiny source of disappointment is that the monitor isn't quite as it appears in the promotional photos currently on Amazon. In the promotional pictures, the only words printed on the monitor's "frame" is the name "ViewSonic," centered underneath the display screen. In actuality, there are words printed in the lower left corner, too. (I have uploaded a picture of this to the customer images for this product.) It may be a minor thing for many, but it makes the monitor less "clean" and sleek, in my opinion. Also, the frame around the screen is rather glossy, which you can't tell from the promotional photos. In comparison, my old ViewSonic had more of a "matte" type of finish, which I prefer. This monitor is made from a glossy plastic that is somewhat reflective. Not a big deal, but again, not what I prefer.

As other reviews indicated, the speakers are hopeless....I purchased a set of small powered speakers that solve that problem. The quality is excellent....great picture. However it has one "feature" (according to Viewsonic)that means I will probably sell it or give it away. I use three inputs....Dish Joey for TV, a ROKU, for movies and stuff, (Netflix, etc.) and my Windows 7 PC. This monitor switches on it's own between inputs. If you are using the PC and reboot, when the signal goes away, the monitor will switch to the next input with signal. If you are working on a PC where you want to reboot or an installation reboots, or if the system hibernates, the monitor switches to another input. It is a pain to have to keep cycling through the inputs to get back to the one I want it to be on. If you are planning to use this monitor for multiple inputs, be prepared to wear out the input key....and it's not easy to get to, either. I also have a Planar and a Dell...neither of them autoswitch inputs. Other than that, it's a great monitor.

I actually bought this at a local store at the same price as listed on Amazon, as I needed it the same day.Pros: Low power usage, zero heat or noise generation, even LED backlighting with zero bleedthrough and no stuck pixels...a great monitor for the price. You can snap on the included pedestal stand, or just swing out the attached bookstand L-shaped mount to prop up without the stand. No ghosting, crystal clear picture with very accurate color and black/white levels (after making OSD menu adjustments as listed below) decent 3-year warranty (including backlight), and it included VGA and HDMI cables (must buy DVI-HDMI adapter to hook up to some graphics cards without HDMI, most newer cards include these adapters if they don't have built-in HDMI plugs.) Nice that you can simultaneously hook up 2 sources (say a PC and a laptop) and switch between the 2 sources by using the OSD menu buttons. You can set the monitor to auto shut off after a specified amount of time, if desired.Cons: Not the best viewing angles (especially vertical) if you're not looking at it head-on (lower half of screen gets noticably darker just by moving your head a couple of inches higher.) This monitor does not have VESA mounting holes, and the built-in speakers are extremely weak (low sound and zero bass.)NOTE: Once I booted into windows, I noticed that changing the resolution as instructed by Viewsonic to 1920x1080 at 60Hz, there was a 3/4 inch border around all edges of the windows screen, as others have mentioned. Having an ATI (AMD) graphics card, I went into the graphics card's properties and changed the monitor screen refresh rate from 60 Hz to 59 Hz and windows then filled out the screen perfectly. Try this if you have this issue. After initial hookup and making a few OSD menu adjustments, I'm very pleased with the display quality. I was sure to turn off the "dynamic contrast" setting, set my input source as HDMI1-PC, changed the response time setting from regular to "ultra fast", and changed the settings of the following:contrast: 68brightness: 47red: 83green: 84blue: 96I used calibration images and videos to come up with these settings.I wasn't expecting the speakers to be very powerful, but these are extremely soft and tinny; sounds like a cheap laptop at 30% volume in the next room. Get separate speakers unless in an office environment. I didn't buy this monitor for the speakers; just think of them as an additional option if necessary.I knew about the lack of VESA mounting capability before my purchase, so no big deal. My home office has a lot of bright sunlight streaming in, so I was happy about the matte screen finish. I like the "bookstand" feature, just swung out the already-attached L-shaped prop up arm in the back.Be sure to register online to activate the 3-year warranty

I have purchased 3 of these monitors and I'm sitting in front of them right this very minute! Let me tell you the things I like about these monitors.1. They are super thin (I hate fat monitors)2. They are 1080p which is better than 720p, or 480p, or standard def, or any other resolution which is lower.3. They are very bright with great contrast. I saw a review that said they were too bright and caused eye strain. That reviewer might be interested to know that these monitors, like almost every other monitor like them, have brightness controls. I have set all of mine to 70 from the original 100.4. My PC is across the room so it's very handy that these monitors have speakers. They aren't the greatest, but hey, it's a super thin monitor, not a high school kid's Honda Civic. Here are some things that I wish were different about them. I wish these things every day, but up until now, these wishes have not come true.1. The controls are on the side, and since I have the left most monitor slightly behind the center monitor, I have to go through great lengths to reach the controls on that one. This is a hardship much greater than any faced by people in developing countries.2. There is no DVI input, only HDMI and VGA. I'd really like a 3rd input if you know what I mean.

This is a decent LED Monitor I am a IT Tech and and I wanted to duel screen so I ordered one of these for replacing my main monitor. I like it a lot But I have a few gripes.Cons:Its a little to bright.Sound does suck even with included drivers (but I have a surround sound and the SRS program didn't help me much with that)No DVI, This is something that stumped me, I am just glad I have a DVI to HDMI cable laying around.Have to change Gama and Brightness in games lower from my older LCD.Not MountablePros:Can use it for more than just a monitor.Easy to switch between screens.SRS Premium Sound Helped in adding clarity to my 5.1 surround sound.More than 1 way to input sound (from the OSD) you can choose to use the HDMI or the DB9 (AKA Mic Jack.)Huge screen and its very detailed and their is barely any input lag at all.Very easy to disconnect and move.More than 1 way to to let it sit on a desk or table (I just use the stand)I do think its better than my old NG Nevo (old!!!!!) and it seems to be good for work and play. I am happy with this Monitor for the price I paid. But if you want A tv with built in sound or expect to use a wall mount I would get something else.

I am very pleased with this large monitor I purchased as a replacement for my old 21 inch unit. When I set up the Desktop Wallpaper, my photo was stretched and distorted. By choosing Center for Position, the display added bars at the sides so the image was not distorted. I then chose black for the bars. I like the provision of two HDMI jacks. The only shortcoming I found was in the instructions for the pedestal. It leans back nicely if you use extra pressure but the instructions said nothing. It also is supposed to operate flat on a desk with a prop in the rear. I never figured out how to set it although the instructions have a drawing of the configuration. A nice product for the price, I recommend it.I originally filled out this review incorrectly thinking it was a TV I purchased earlier, DUH. However, I could find no way to delete it so I rewrote to reflect the correct product. Is there really no way to delete? If you just delete the copy, it won't accept and keeps the old copy. Hmmm...

Title kind of says it. Have always liked Viewsonic monitors, so got this one at a nice price. No complaints there-- picture is beautiful. And built-in speakers are a nice convenience. (Not for music, though.)However, as others have noted, the base is very cheaply made-- hollow plastic, wouldn't quite lie flat on table, and monitor wobbled noticeably when typing at first. OK now after some shimming up, but would still probably wobble on a lighter table. Also no ability to adjust vertically-- just tilts back and forward.I hope someone at Viewsonic is reading this as I really do like their products. Just cut one too many corners on this model.

This is my least favorite LCD ever. After spending 3-4 hours trying to color calibrate I've been unable to get anything but overly backlit and washed out colors. It's tolerable but barely usable. I've tried built-in Windows and Mac calibration software, third party tools and so forth. Blacks do not look black at all. They look like mid-grays regards of the settings. Other colors will dim and brighten appropriately but the blacks barely change. Also having the controls on the right side of the screen means in a dual monitor setup this must be the right-most monitor or else you'll be constantly moving the screen to make adjustments or switch inputs. Very, very disappointed.

So I just got this today from Amazon. I thought it was DOA, would not turn on even though it was plugged in. Fiddled with plug on the back of the monitor, and it finally came on. However the plug is not in there very tight, and any jar disconnects the power. Will be RMA'ing this one. I will up date once I get the replacement. Also the HDMI connectors also can be easily disconnected, no tolerance at all.Update:So the second monitor that was sent to me would not turn on no matter how I wiggled the plug. Being someone with a QA background both in software and hardware, I have to say they must not have any. I've seen chinese knock offs that had better build qaulity. Do yourself a favor and do not buy this monitor. In fact I'll probably never buy another Viewsonic monitor after this.Update:One thing I forgot to mention, was the fact audio on this thing also went nuts when play video from cable sources. I have a htpc set up, using hd homerun prime. Works really well on my 52 inch lcd, as well as being streamed over a hd transmitter and receiver that I have another monitor set up on on my desk. Whenever I would play a cable stream audio would go completely nuts on the viewsonic. I don't have that problem with the samsung I replaced it with. I'm suspecting it also on top of everything didn't support the proper codecs.

I custom ordered a new computer and needed a new monitor as well. Typically I prefer to go with Samsung for just about everything (especially displays) but in order to save some money I went with the Viewsonic VX2453MN-LED monitor. It arrived undamaged and I set it up using an HDMI cable - the first problem was that the image didn't fill the screen appropriately. I had to adjust the settings on the monitor itself. Then I had to adjust the settings for brightness and contrast in the setup for my Nvidia video card because everything was washed out.In less than a week the monitor started blinking off and then on again. I was worried that it might be the video card, so I plugged in my old monitor and that worked just fine. I'm an architect working at home and I had several things I needed to get out the door, so I just worked on my old 20" dell for the rest of the day. The next day I switched the HDMI plug from slot 1 on the monitor to slot 2 and that worked fine, but at that point I had had enough, so I went to Best Buy and found a 24" Samsung syncmaster s24b750 for only $200. It's amazing. I guess I learned my lesson.

Just bought this monitor with an Acer desktop last week. I specifically wanted this monitor because of the built-in speakers and HDMI input. First problem was with HDMI -- picture was too large for the screen; icons disappeared off the edges. Text was extremely unsharp and hard to read. Best fix was to change scaling from 100 to 50; this got the icons back on the screen, but didn't solve the text readability. Finally gave up and used the VGA cable -- this solved the picture problem. Sound was tinny and volume couldn't be adjusted to an acceptable level. Finally had to hook up my old Dell external speakers to be able to hear music and videos. So, I could have bought a much less expensive monitor without the HDMI or built-in speakers and gotten the same result.

I am using this monitor with my new eight-core PC. Resolution is pinpoint sharp, right down to the individual pixels. The sound is crappy, but that's what a separate hi-fidelity speaker system is for.I especially like having two HDMI and one VGA input. This allows me to switch from the new PC, to my docked Razr Maxx, and also supports my legacy Dell Dimension 2400.Moving from my old 19-inch flat-screen Sony Trinitron to this was quite an effect on me, as its 16:9 aspect ratio, being a couple feet away from me, really "pulls me into the picture." Quite pleased.Only bad thing was that the power plug in the monitor had what I think is a "cold solder joint." I had to bend the center pin slightly for it to make contact. If it acts up I'll pull out my soldering iron to fix it. No biggie.

I have only had this monitor for a few days, but have hooked it up to various things such as a PS3, 360, laptop, (only through HDMI cables) and I will say I am thoroughly impressed. The image is crisp and clean, blacks look black, and the speakers are, functional. But, you shouldn't expect any amazing sound coming from a monitor this thin. This has an Audio In/Out jack, so problem solved. There are 2 HDMI inputs, which was a key selling point for me. The alternative to this, if you only have 1 HDMI input, or need more, is to buy an HDMI switch, which are fairly cheap, but also provide more cable clutter, so this was really important to me, to be able to have 2, without the clutter. So no more swapping out HDMI cables. VGA input is also provided, though I do not use it and therefor cannot comment on it.Another great feature of this monitor is the viewing angle. Whether viewing from the extreme vertical or horizontal position, you will still get a great picture. So don't feel bad about that friend sitting on the end of the sofa, they still get a great picture.Sadly, unless you are imaginative, wall mounting is rather hard to do, as the inputs are horizontal (into the screen). The stand also does not give you the most flexibility either, but gives enough in terms of tilt, and is stable enough the angle will not change if you say, hit your desk.Do NOT buy if;You are looking for an easy wall mount monitorAre wanting great sound just from a monitor

This monitor is mediocre when in its natural horizontal position. The color and image quality is not consistent when comparing edge to edge, you will start noticing distortions in the colors. All of these flaws are made extremely noticeable if you use the monitor in the vertical position, which was what I needed. I needed a vertical monitor for viewing web pages and documents. In vertical mode, there are many problems.- your head must be dead center in front of the monitor or else the screen will start to appear different shades of blue, making the monitor unusable at any other viewing angle.- even when your head is at dead center, all the edges of the screen show a yellow gradient on a pure white background- the blue power light is extremely bright and is directed right at your eyes.- adjusting the monitor to be higher or lower is not stable, it will accelerate really fast and in the case of adjusting it lower, it will slam against the base.I ended up getting a Dell UltraSharp U2412M 24" LED LCD Monitor - 16:10 - 8 ms. Please consider that monitor instead if you need a vertical monitor.

I'm returning for an exchange due to a very bright red pixel that shows up on dark or black backgrounds(not deducting a star since this is a fairly common setback I've dealt with before on previous monitors and I know Amazon will make the return process as painless as possible). Other than that, the monitor is very nice. It's a spacious upgrade from my 23" LG and the quality of the picture and color is just as good if not better than the best monitor I've ever owned. I agree with others that the unecessary lettering on the bottom left front panel can be distracting in a well lit area, but luckily this one will be in my bedroom, which is usually very dark, so it's not even noticeable. It feels just as stable on my desk as the 23" I had before, which was a relief.I did have to do two settings changes after it was connected. First was to go into the monitors settings and change it to the PC HDMI connection since it doesn't seem to auto detect that and defaults to a TV analog connection. The other was to go into my video card settings to change the "Overscan" settings and reduce it to 0% so that I would get a full screen effect instead of the default letterbox look. I very much look forward to my replacement so I can get to my long awaited gaming on this attractive monitor.Update:Replacement monitor arrived within two days after reporting the defect. The monitor is in perfect condition, no visual artifacts, no back light bleeding. My neighbor is jealous after having seen it the other day. This is the Viewsonic quality I remember back when the second color monitor I had ever owned was also a Viewsonic, a nice little 14" :) Thanks Amazon for the reliable and hassle free return and Viewsonic for my new favorite monitor.

Last week I got seriously irritated with my 20" monitor because I just couldn't fit all the windows I needed to on the screen...and I'd casually been looking for a new monitor anyway because I wanted to explore LED.The Viewsonic was my final choice, after reading tons of reviews both here and on the vendor website. The monitor arrived shortly and within 10 minutes I had it up and running in full and gorgeous 1920x1080. The monitor is light and easy to setup - the base is packed separately and installs with a twist of the wing screw. It's a sturdy base, square shaped, and it fits nicely on my desk.My current computer system has DVI plugs on the video card, so I did have to purchase a companion product (I chose the 15ft Premium HDMI to DVI Cable). The cable is PLENTY long to reach around my desk, and with a snap it was plugged in. Just because this monitor includes 2 HDMI inputs, and a VGA input but no DVI, I dropped a star. I didn't really want to buy yet another cable to connect things...I would have preferred full compatibility. The monitor itself is gorgeous - the colours are represented very well, and after spending some time in my NVIDIA control panel I had the gamma and contrast (etc.) adjusted exactly where I wanted it. Then it was time to test it in a game!I am a big Dragon Age fan...so I loaded up Dragon Age II and got started. Colours were gorgeous - very responsive to game play...and if you play the game you know that during a fight there is a LOT going on across the screen...especially with multiple mages and AOE. So that was my primary test.In all other areas (office applications, general explorer use) it was snappy, crisp, and again the colour looked great. For the first time in about 5 years, I actually am using a background wallpaper now instead of black...just because it's so pretty!Visually the monitor casing itself has a LOT of text on it. there's the viewsonic brand name, 1080p full hd, a big "HDMI" with the acronym spelled out below it (seriously??), and big blocky "LED" that actually looks cute because of the font....three toucans stamped into the upper left...and then of course the menu buttons on the right side.Exploring the monitor's hardware menu is easy to do, and you can select different inputs very quickly, as well as adjust all your bright/con/colour/etc settings.Overall - the monitor is really quite HUGE and fits all the windows I need it to fit. Cool LED technology and super-fast response time...great monitor for a great price. 4 stars.
