This product is indeed small but mighty. It does just what I wanted, splits the one signal I have available to me at the office into four signals. I've already had three computers plugged in (my laptop, my desktop and a computer that I am setting up) and all three are online and working well. I've noticed no slow-down in my desktop (the one I'm most used to using).

I purchased this router so I could "split" my ethernet connection between two devices. I plugged my modem, computer, and wireless router into the switch. Unfortunately it will only recognize one device at a time and I have to unplug my modem every time I want to use a different device.

This item dint work for me for what I needed to perform, according to the descriptction this is an splitter where you can connect 2 devices into the network intranet, but only one connection worked for me.

Only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is just because I've only had it a day, but so far so good! Works both for our computer downstairs and network printer and speed and reliablity is great! Simply plug & play. Very small yet happy with it, especially for the price!

I got this for when I travel. It seems that we get into conference room and there is only one LAN connection. This allows me to plug in and let 3 more people use the connection.it is small about the size of 2 decks of cards.Works like a charm.

Cheap and works good. There is not much more you can say about a budget router. They either work well or they don't and this one has served us well in a business environment.

You never know what you're getting when you buy cheap. I just needed this to connect a home server and a couple machines that were on another floor from the main router. Plugged it it and it worked fine. Good speeds, no issues. The older unit it was replacing sounded like a hover craft, so I am pleased to have a switch that does not have an industrial exhaust fan in it.

I used this switch to connect two Rokus to my modem. I ran a line from the modem to the switch and from there I fed two patch cords, one to each Roku. It works great and automatic with no loss.

Works great! no problems on set up nothing to configure, just plug and play.I plugged it in to an open port on my 4 port wireless router (netgear) and plugged in our PV system monitor and security system. Both work flawlessly.Recommend very much!

Used this to tie two computers and a printer to one wall cat 5 outlet from the computer modem. It is convenient and works well where you need to tie in several pieces of equipment to one outlet.

I've read the problems some others have had. All I can tell you is my experience. I took it out of the box, ran a cat5 cable from my cable modem to the switch, ran cat5 cables from the switch to two PC's, a blu-ray player and the kids WII machine. Powered it up and every thing worked perfectly.

Plug it into your network and it instantly works with no configuration. I'm running Windows Vista. Only problem I see is that my network noticably slowed down. I have a 10/100 cable modem, 10/100 Wireless router, ans this 10/100 ethernet switch, so all matched speed should not have slowed. However for the $10.00 I spent on it I'll keep it.

Plug it in and off you goAdded a Home Theater 3D Blu Ray player to our set up.Son's Xbox 360 was using the network port behind our TVFooled around a little trying to use an old router to split the connectionWas not able to turn off the wireless on that so for the few bucks got this switchExcellent valueShowed up quickWorks like a charm

This will not divide your bandwidth like a router, but if you have a situation that only requires one component to use the internet at a time this is just what you need. I use this in my entertainment center and it works great!

didnt realize this was what i needed to run 2 items at the same time off internet but thanks to a post ion this item page i saved money on a splitter i almost bought instead. workd great and my fiancee can play the playstation while im on laptop so everyone wins!! yay

Currently I have it hooked up to my Xbox 360 and PC and it works flawlessly. It was perfect for when I used to be in college and only had one ethernet connection.

Works like a charm to run a computer & phone off a single ethernet jack. Unadvertised warning (in instruction manual) concerning "internet sharing" seems not to apply to the situation.

Ok so you know how people say " plug and play" well cant be more plug and play that this. for $12 this is an awesome switch. i have only been using it for a week but no problems so far. will update this review if i do end up facing problems. That way we all know how long these Chinese products last lol

Used this to add a 5th computer on my router. Works great with a price you can't beat! Just plugged it right into my router and everything worked without setting up any settings, etc

Ok for adding a lot of extras at minimum cost but would spend more and upgrade for anything important. I ended up not using it and just used the router ports.

This product is a great ethernet switch with a metal case. Costing only a few cents more than TRENDnet TE100-S5 5-Port Ethernet Switch (5 x 10/100Mbps Auto-MDIX RJ-45 Ports) having a metal case (better build quality) is worth the 50 cents price difference. Please don't confuse an ethernet switch with a ethernet splitter. This does not take a single ethernet cable in and make it provide ethernet for 5 devices. I saw many people seem to confuse the two and I wanted to clear than up.

Very small. Functions perfectly. Would definitely recommend this to anyone. Allowed me to hook up the xbox, bluray and satellite receiver quickly and simply.

I could only get one port to work on this product. TRENDnet is typically a decent product, but not this particular unit, I guess.
