I bought this router as a gift so i cannot rate it based on performance. However, I did setup the router for the person I bought it for and was pretty happy with the setup process for the most part. I would say my only gripe was that it was a little slow rebooting after making various firmware setting changes. Other than that seemed like a pretty good Wireless N router for the price.

Bought this gem. Tried to install it. Couldn't connect to the web thru my ADSL modem (AT&T). Called customer support. After asking the person I spoke to several times to "please stop shouting instructions to me" as it made comprehension difficult, got disgusted and hung up. Called back later hoping to get a different support person. Did so and was told (after doing everything and then some) that I needed to call AT&T and have them work on it. Went to WalMart, bought a NETGEAR router and installed it. It worked immediately. Now this one just sits on the floor looking pretty (sad).

For the price this router is amazing. It was very quick to set up. It gives out great signal throughout the whole house, I would highly recommend this router./

I had this out of the box and completely set up within fifteen minutes, amazing! Super easy web interface lets you manage all of the security details in minutes, and the signal is great throughout the house. I would definitely buy this again and recommend it to others.

very easy setup instructions. very clear. good protection. awesome range. can get full bars all over long house. and on porches, and in yard. Highly recommend, also the product is attractive to the eye. Very modern looking design

My other router was acting flaky and I was tired of playing with it so I bought a new one. Installed super fast, just as easy to configure as any other, had no problems with it. I live in a small 2 bedroom condo so signal strength is great throughout the house. Had it a couple of months so for... no issues at all.

Easy to set up and great strength and speed. This router was easy to set up and great to use no problems after several months. Having a switch included makes for easy use can plug right into the unit if you do not want wireless. Great

I had some difficulty getting the router set up; realized that I had to unplug the dsl modem, to reset it, after the router was set up. I have been up and running seamlessly for weeks with no issues.

I had a hard time setting up this router. I used the CD, then tried manual installation. Wasted hours getting nowhere. Finally I plugged the network cable directly into the back of the computer and went to the company website. Turns out the installation program was miss-detecting the ISP setup and there was an IP address conflict.Aside from the installation problems I like this router and would have given it 5 stars.

I replaced my old linksys g router with this n router because after I changed the location of g router upstair at my house, the wireless signal downstair was very weak. This n router gives much stronger signal, providing that I have a wireless n USB stick.One month later:This wireless router suddenly not working today. I called the tech support and she was very helpful and eventually I had my problem solved. Excellent tech support.

I bought this after reading so many great reviews of this wireless router. The price is fine, but after reading the great reviews I expected very fast service.... if anything, my service is below normal, and I don't know if I can attribute this to the Modem, Router, or ISP (RCN).While I had trouble setting up the Router, I was able to send in emails to the company, and the rep (in Taiwan) was very responsive, helpful, but it usually took one day to get a reply to my questions, so if one is in a hurry for customer service, I don't know how one would go about getting it.I can view videos on Hulu and Youtube without any problems.In summary, it works fine - but it is not as fast (or superior) as I had expected but I am not sure if the reason is due to my router, that is why I give it an "OK" rating.Sorry for my own confusion my own unit.

For the money you couldn't ask for a better router, easy to set up, great security features and great price. Had it up and running in a matter of minutes. It is wall mountable, has 4 ports in back, compatible with my wireless G devices and arrived 1 day ahead of schedule. If you can read and follow the simple quick install guide, you should have no problems. Would recommend this router to anyone wanting to go wireless N on a budget.

If you need to send signal all the way down the block. If you dream of aiming signal right where it is needed. If you need a little less signal, take off one or more antenna.This thing broadcasts 100 yards on the maximum setting. It broadcasts a signal 60 yards on Medium and about 100 ft on low. If you need less, as I said, they recommend removing an antenna.Don't get this for a small apartment or small house. It would be overkill.But if you have a place of business and you want to offer WiFi to your customers, this is the fast wireless router you have been looking for. All sorts of option in the configuration, or just use their wizard to configure it simply. You don't need to know anything about installing WiFi to get this up and running.

This router is great. I bought one about 4 months ago and it has been running since the day I got it. No freezes, lockups, no drop in speed.The only things about this router is, do not use the CD that comes with it. Manually set the network up in the router. If you have a basic knowledge of routers/networking it is an easy setup. Also, it does run a little hot. However, if you elevate it to allow air to pass under it as well it keeps it considerably cooler.I would buy this product again.

Has a TON of features. Great for home networking and much much more. Even if you're not an advanced user it's very simple to set up, but the extra functionality is there if you need it. Before this I was using an old airport express router from '05 and it just can't even compare. The only con I have for this item is if you are setting up a WDS network (with an old airport express router at least) it can slow down others connected to the TP-LINK. I doubt many of you will be doing that anyway, so aside from that I give this router two thumbs up.

I bought this wireless router yesterday to replace my old Netgear WGR614. I've never heard about this brand before and bought it because it was the most inexpensive router with wireless N that I could find. It was a good surprise, it is very easy to setup (it was working in less than half an hour), the coverage area is much better than with my previous router and it has lots of features that my previous one did not have, like: bandwidth control, parent control and etc.I did not measure transfer speeds and other parameters that may be relevant for hardcore users, but if you are a regular user like me, this router is an option worth considering.

This is only the 2nd wireless router I've purchased. One reason I choose the TL-WR841ND was that it offered the new 802.11n+ and compatibility with older standards. The other reason was the price. I've only had the unit about a month now. So far so good.The setup was easy, it worked right out of the box with very little interaction. Then again I have a MAC so why wouldn't it be easy? The coverage is good. It sits in the lower floor room of a brick wall, split level home built in the 60's. The weakest signal I've received was on my back patio that is on the opposite side of the house and through 3 walls and a few screened windows. No issues with it working there - signal strength registered 2 bars on a PC laptop.Go ahead and give this one a try.

After reading all previous good comments I bought the device. Installation was a breeze, the wizard is well designed and the manual is actually helpful. Preliminary runs were good, wireless speed is excellent (compared with my previous router, a D-Link best forgotten). Also the signal reaches all of my house and is strong.Then it went downhill just as fast: it drops (wireless) connection almost every 30 seconds or so. True, my laptop reconnects automatically, but that is just enough to avoid total disaster.Completely unreliable, look for something else. I guess I'll have to try returning it.

I was skeptical on take this router because I really can not believe that I can get something good for this price, but I am really impressed with this router it provides me total coverage in a two floors house (concrete) which any linksys-cisco router can not do in the past I actually change a more expensive WRT160N for this, and I am very happy, the other good thing is that you can change the antennas (which I did) and the coverage is very powerful, so do not spend your money in other expensive routers if you for this price can get this amzing coverage, 100% recommended to every body.

Have been using the product for about a month. Set up was very easy, connections are fast and consistent, and signal is stronger than I expected.Using it to support a home PC, Wii, iTouch, and work laptop in a home office. All simultaneously with no noticeable degradation in performance.I haven't experienced any issues and would recommend this for a good inexpensive home solution.

I replaced a Netgear with this and FINALLY I get reliable and strong signals everywhere in the house. The router is on my second floor and it was impossible to get reliable reception in the basement before. Now I have a good signal even in far out in the yard. Also, the router has a very nice feature set for more advanced usage. Highly recommended.

Nice range - I can receive "good" or "very good" signal strength on 2nd floor with this router on 1st floor.Nice speed - I am able to watch streamline without lag.Nice router!
