This is a low cost camera, we don't have to expect the best system ever... but the camera takes really nice pictures and works actually good... i would really recommend it to a friend.

Nice camera for the price. Small and compact, but still takes nice photos. Still learning how to use the different bells and whistles.

I bought this as a gfift, but my parents really seem to like it. They say it switches from still photos to video with the touch of a button, and the qaulity is quite good. For the price and available features, I don't think you couyld do any better.

I have experienced the power on issue as others did, Remington and reinserting the battery works unless the battery drained during the time of non usage. Having experiencing the nonsupport by Sony, I cut my losses and go back to Panasonic,

The camera's 'ON' and 'Playback' buttons are way to easy to press. So much so that you'll find it turned on in your pocket or purse. Mine recently broke when I stored it in a small purse and I had unknowingly pushed the 'ON' button, the lens popped out, and I later found it bent and heard small pieces of the camera jiggling around. Camera pictures were okay. I did love the panoramic feature and it had very good video quality.

I was surprised of it size, really small, fits in hand.
Image quality is good enough for everyday photos. Video is also good.
Does not have any disadvantages comparing to similar products, or I just didn't noticed them.

This is a excellent camera, compact, easy to manipulate. The pictures are clear, even when in motion. It's fun to view the multi shots, almost like a movie. great for travelling.

The camera has a very fast shutter speed and I love that it recharges using my phone charger! Wish it had a better zoom, but it a good buy!

Had high expectations for this camera, by the image quality is not good. The pictures are not as crisp as my 8 year old canon. Tried every setting but the photos always have a "painting" like look to them. Maybe it's a Sony thing?

I NEEDED to upgrade from my older Cyber-shot from two years ago, and this was probably the best purchase I've made in a while. The camera itself takes AMAZING pictures for a point-and-shoot. The background defocus effect works perfectly. The pictures in lower light are not amazing, sadly. It looks 10x better when the flash is on, and let me tell you, the flash on this thing is powerful. The video recording is freakin amazing as well. Of course, it looks 10x better outside than inside. If you're on a budget, this would be your best purchase, trust me. The camera takes pictures really fast, flash and without flash, as well. The face tracking on this thing is very powerful and fast. I had the camera far from my friends face, and it still tracked it from the far distance.

The camera was good while it lasted (a little more than a month of use). After that the camera did not power on anymore.
Sony warranty for products bought in US does not cover Brazil, which is a shame.

This camera is amazing! It stands to prove that you really don't need those big bulky cameras just to capture the moment--everywhere I go, I can just grab it out of my bag if the moment arises with no trouble at all. This camera has many great features to choose from and even better, it takes excellent night time pictures. Completely satisfied with my purchase! Note: comes with charger and wrist strap; don't forget to buy a memory card!

The Good: The camera is very small and portable, easily fitting into a pocket or a small purse. Lots of great features and it is very easy to use. The photo quality was extremely good compared to my past cameras.
The Bad: The camera worked flawlessly until the lens would no longer retract into the camera in less than a month's worth of use. Sent it off to be repaired (had to pay for shipping to service center).
Was very excited for this camera until it stopped working. Hopefully it was just a problem with the camera I purchased and will have no further problems. Will update once I receive the camera back.

After comparing a lot of products, I settled with this camera. After using it for a couple of months, I'm really glad that I went with it. I think it's best my <$200 could buy. It has very good in low light; I have never had to use the flash at all!
What I think is missing - it's just 5x zoom; I wish it was a little faster in clicking the pictures in auto mode. But, hey for $200 - I really can't complain. :-)
Overall, I'd buy this again!

Looking to replace my 5-year old W150 with a new pocket camera, I tried this camera along with a Panasonic Lumix SZ7 and a Nikon Coolpix S6300. This one won out for the accuracy of the colors and consistency of the zoomed-in detail of the pictures, even in low light. It is a sturdy little camera with satisfying heft, moves fairly quickly from shot to shot, and is just right for using at a moment's notice. Sony's in-camera guide is an added benefit.
