This is an excellent compact, point and shoot camera, doesnt have much zoom, but it is good for compact model.
Camera can he held in pant and shirt pockets and easy to carry.
Has many good features that fits for this low bill.
If you need compact and 5x zoom is enough for ur need, this is a good choice.

I pretty much would only buy Cannon products when it came to cameras. However, I decided to sit down and compare specs this time. I replaced my last Cannon camera because I had it almost 8 years and it was time to upgrade. The main reason for my upgrade was that I had to hold the capture button about 3 full seconds before it would take the picture. I love this Sony camera. It takes the picture immediately after pressing the capture button. The video feature picks up sound well. But the best feature is it's ability to take pictures in the dark or at night. This flash has to be the brightess ever. My friends marvel at how well the night pictures come out. I love this camera.

I recommended this camera and so far the pictures come out great.
Low lighting is also a plus just don't shake when taking the shot.
Very easy and would recommend to any parents with kids.

This camera exceeds expectations. It is TINY. Also you cant beat the price at $104. competitors have a lot to live up to for a $100 camera. Recommended!

After reading the reviews I was a bit concerned about the lens issues. However, I decided to give it a try. I have it for 2 months now and love it.
Pros:
HD recording (awesome);
Zoom while recording;
Small size;
Cons:
If you zoom a picture after it was taken, it does looks blurry (like a painting);
In my opinion, it's the best point and shoot type of camera.

Bought this camera last month and just got around to using it.
Decided to take it on an outing to NYC for a client, needed to be able to produce some video to go along with my pictures from my DSLR.
The DSLR didn't make it out of the bag. Started using this camera from the limo pickup at Penn Station to the end of the tour at the 9/11 Memorial. The pictures were sharp and crisp.
The camera produced very good images and with all of the walking we did in the financial district the size of the unit was a pure joy.
Havent had time to tinker with the modes too much but I can tell you the panoramic mode is .........wait for it..........AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!
This little one is going to be a strategic weapon added to the arsenal.

I am very impressed with this sturdy, compact camera. We just returned from a trip to Ireland and Finland and this camera took stunning landscapes, night views of the city from the plane,and bright, clear photos both in and outside of people we met and places we visited. The panoramics were fun and the zoom is excellent. While the variety of settings took some time to figure out, they allowed for a remarkble amount of control in the type of picture we wanted to create. I took pictures of 400 year old headstones and read them on the computer when they could not be read by the naked eye. A fellow traveler lost an earring and I was able to take blind shots by sticking the camera under a cabinet and the auto focus helped locate it for her. My only negative comment is that the camera seems to turn off quickly between shots and I think the turning off and on seems to take a bit more battery power than my previous Sony. This might be in a setting that I have not discovered. Anyway, I always carry extra batteries and I would suggest that you get some if you are planning for long days.

This camera is one of the best Point and Shoot cameras i've ever used! It is a 100% better than my old Nikon Coolpix S4000! By the way the Nikon was a bad camera. Would buy again if this one broke! Great price!

It's really awesome, lots of features and very very quick! a favorite feature of mine is the rapid shutter 3 or 10 photos and also the beautiful skin filter because it makes faces look flawless!

Hard to believe this many options come with this small price. I replaced a Lumix camera and the Sony is years ahead in features, great photos, too.

Nice little camera to have around, It takes clean shots and has some photo editing built right in. Really fun to play with the artistic settings while take shots of the kids playing. Turns even just a cute candid into something a little more special.

This Sony is a great camera for the price, pictures are very clear and the delay from when you push the button to it taking the picture is FAST! I bought this over the canon A2300 camera, which I bought for Christmas, and this is hands down way better. Night and day difference. The menu options are easy to use. This is a great buy for a point and shoot camera.

I bought one of these for a trip I recently went on. The size was a big plus, since I can fit it in a small cell phone pouch on my belt. Being easy to carry is a big thing if you want to have the camera with you when the opportunity to take pictures presents itself!
I noticed sometimes the pictures are really clean, particularly when there's a lot of contrast between one thing and another. Where it goes bad, is when there's NOT so much contrast. For instance, a photo of the interior of a car showed a light up display crystal-clear. However, another photo taken outside in bright light looks like an oil painting when viewed at its native resolution.
That's my main complaint on this camera, that "oil painting" effect when viewed at 1:1 resolution. I believe it's the image compression software that creats the .jpg files causing the problem, but there's no adjustment for that in the settings. I understand this small camera won't provide DSLR level performance, but with 4 and 5 megabyte picture files, a Zeiss branded lens, and a 16MP sensor, I really expected more detail and less "oil painting".
If I can figure out how to upload a few photos, I'll add some examples to support what I'm saying.

Can I just say I was totally amazed with the equipment I received with this package. I hope a similar one will be available the next time we need to purchase a digital camera. It saved so much time, not having to pick out case, memory card etc.

I received my camera last Friday and I'm really satisfied so far. I've not examined all of the features but it does take lovely outdoor pictures. Definitely recommend this camera.

Great camera. Low light is good, not quite as good as I expected after reading reviews but still above average. Video is excellent. Pics look great. Minimal shutter lag.
