Work great, Usb 3.0 and it powers through the usb so no external power supplies needed. Cant go wrong with this HD.

This drive seems very sturdy and was well priced and it looks great! I really haven't tested it's durability but it's been in my "Man Bag" for 6-8 months and I've had no problems at all

Purchased for use as a backup drive. Web site says that it has a one button backup with SP software. Difficult to find software on website. Button does nothing. The drive itself is excellent. Seems well made and a good portable size.

This is my first USB 3.0 portable hard drive as I recently got a new computer with USB 3.0. This is the most solidly constructed portable hard drive that I have ever bought before. The another reason I like about it is because it being shock resistant.Great one!

First of all, I'd like to say that it might just be my product that's faulty, so as to avoid any later discrepancies.On load up:I found my HDD hard to boot up. Later, I found that it was either the USB port (on the HDD) that was having the problem or the USB cord. It turns out that it was causing my HDD not to show up correctly and even making Windows believe that it was in need of Formatting.During usage:The HDD causes a LARGE amount of high-pitched noise that's quite nauseating for anyone unless they were wearing headphones/ear buds. I overlooked that, since I usually wear my headset to watch videos and play games. The transfer speeds on it are quite slow, but that may be the fault of the parts on my Gaming Laptop.Hopefully, I'm the only one this happens to, but I found this HDD to be quite the annoyance. The quality of the casing seems to be the same as every other External HDD, so I get the feeling that it'll knock the the arm off the disc if dropped.All in all, I am displeased with the overall "quality" of this product, but then again, there's the 3-year warranty.

Bought this for deployment to Afghanistan. Though I haven't dropped it or immersed it in water, I am still loving the drive.USB 3.0 is fast! and this drive is compact (fits easily in a back or cargo pocket) and feels sturdy. I've dropped a drive in a regular enclosure before and lost everything which is why I was taking no chances this time around.I bought mine about 3 months ago for 129.99. This is now 19.00 less. A great deal in my opinion considering what drives without the enclosure being protected cost (about 90-100.00).I think I'll have this drive for a long time to come.Update: 1-29-13:I've dropped it TWICE from about 2ft. It's survived just fine.
