Received this item on 8-20-2012 and have used it to transfer files & photo's to a new laptop. Largest download was 250MB+ in one shoot. Everything has gone very well, and the USB 3.0 cable that is stored in the side of the drive enclosure has worked just great when connecting to our laptops. The extra cable will come in handy when connecting to a desktop in my office.No Cons !!Bought this from Amazon because, you don't have to worry about shipping charges, or returns, because the item did not work properly. Amazon always has had me covered, and that is a great comfort when things don't go as expected.

I ordered this product twice! I encountered the same issues with my computer being unable to recognize the external drive for some reason. I will say that the company had excellent customer service and made an honest attempt at solving my problems. However I tried the drive on 4 different computers, and it didn't work on any of them. I was very disappointed, because other than the function of the external I was very excited about the look, feel, and supposed features.
