This phone is too bad.1. It gets hang now and then for no reason and then I have restart to reuse it again.2. Headphone sound gets uncontrollably loud if I install more apps then what it could handle.3. I have reset this phone almost 10-15 times.4. Very limited apps.

The phone has a decent enough touchscreen. The home screen is super-customizable. The QWERTY isn't actually as bad to type with as it may seem. It just requires a few minutes to get used to it. With the small form factor, it's really easy to type with one hand, except for me since I have itty-bitty hands.If you're a regular Nokia user (not Lumia), it would be much, much easier to get used to the works of the user interface. The camera is only 3.2MP without flash, so don't expect SLR-quality photos. At the right side of the phone are the volume and lock buttons.By default, there are certain button which access common features, like when the space bar is held down, the wi-fi menu pops up. At the top side of the phone are three holes: charging port, USB (not exactly sure how to connect it as the product doesn't come with it, but the common Mini-USB to USB OTG doesn't seem to fit), and 3.5mm audio jack. When you're charging, don't be afraid to force down the plug into the phone until the white ring touched the top side of the phone.A good phone overall for one who isn't into Instagram and wants a touch phone that also has a physical keyboard and that won't hurt your wallet.

I'd been a wm fan since win ce - wm6 then I switched to something else. I used to love wm so much for its apps availability & freedom. This one is a little disappointed to me for my apps choice.If you were spoiled by BB or iOS, you're not going to like this thing.Else,The good: sexy and fast, good cameraThe bad: Battery life sucks so bad. It only last me for a day, so if you plan on going somewhere without power source, please bring another phone as a back up.

I have used pretty much all the smartphone OS (Android, IOS, BB, WP7). Many times if not the OS the device had failed to work on several tasks in the past. For example: My Samsung Vibrant would always fail to register for GPS. My iPhone connection would drop and the reception was sometimes so crappy that I had to forget that I was using a phone. Then I used G2X as being the fastest android on its times (Dual core etc). Soon I figured that dual core doesn't matter to run the phone faster. I switched to SGSII to and still the same result. The screen of SGS2 was horrendously over saturated.I saw Lumia 900 when I was at Best Buy. The phone's UI and hardware was fluid and everything worked as expected. 1 Week later I bought Lumia 900 phone. I was little skeptical of buying any new phones as I was tired of every smartphone tending to slow down over time. Btw, G2X was crazy slow just after few weeks.I am using this phone as my daily driver and I am so amazed that it has worked in every area . GPS, directions, yelping, emails, sync, social accounts and much more. I just don't have anything to complain about this phone except one thing, Camera. Camera is not as great as I expected from Nokia. I have used Nokia phones before and their camera quality is comparable to Digital Cameras but not this one. I have the purple tint problem on most of the images that I click through this phone. This is specifically for the images taken from the camera. Nothing related to screen display. The fix is to basically click on "Auto-Fix" after you click the picture. This should fix the issue. But hey, I don't use camera every day, so I am fine with it. If I take all the features and camera issue in to consideration, this phone is by far the best device I have used as a smartphone. There are always few minor things that might bother other people but comparing those to other smartphone issues is absolutely nothing. I would give this phone a perfect 5 stars.

I am not a fan of this product and had to return it due to the fact that the first time, the phone was not truly unlocked, and the second phone I received could not hook on to t-mobiles 4g Internet network. I ended up paying the return shipping for the phone. Very unhappy. I would not recommend this item for someone other than an AT&T user.

With practically nothing running in the background--no apps, no wifi, no bluetooth, no live tiles, nothing, and very light to light use (one or two phone calls a day and that too for not more than 10 mins per call and two or three text messages a day), the battery drain is significant. average battery life is 12-14 hours.So before you buy a Lumia 900 you must carefully think about the battery drain even if the phone is sitting idle.

I'm coming from the n8 so its a great upgrade for those ppl coming from N8 its an upgrade all the way around and as stated in many reviews the best camera, video and audio in a phone after using it for a week i would say it even rivals most point and shoot cameras.And for app selection and os i have found everything i need (not everything i want) but for the most part its a good phone specially for those coming from other symbian devicesand the reason it didn't get 5 stars is cuz of the most reported 3g bug that many users have even nokia has stated that there is a problem and covers this issue with the warrenty and on the nokia site that took me to amazon and at the time tablet distributer was the one to sale the phone also it clearly states us warrenty on the site but when I contacted nokia they said there isn't any warrenty for this market even the box says us warranty so i will have to contact amazon about thisover all minus the problems i had and for a symbian device i think it earned five stars but until these issues are corrected. I can't give it that rating.

It is a bit expensive so I hesitated before buying the 808 PureView, but I have no regrets. I am loving this phone!OS: A lot of reviews gripe about the OS (Symbian Belle) and compare it to Android and iOS. I have used an iPhone for a while, and this version of Symbian is just as good. Everything runs very smooth, even when viewing the 38mp photos. The Nokia browser is usable, but definitely not the best. Still, you can just install Opera Mobile which is a fantastic browser. Everything I need in a phone OS is working well - for example I can sync my Google contacts and calendar.Apps: Admittedly there are far fewer apps available than on the major phone platforms, but there seems to be enough good apps for most peoples' needs. The mobile version of most websites (amazon, wikipedia, etc) work fine when there is no app available.Maps: Nokia has the best maps suite, hands down. The maps are preloaded on your phone, so they save bandwidth and work when you don't have a signal. The Nokia 'Drive' GPS app is also excellent for turn-by-turn directions.Camera: I don't need to say much about this, other than it is as good as people are saying. You have more custom control over your shots than any other phone camera, and higher quality than most point-and-shoot cameras.Screen: The AMOLED screen is much lower res than the iPhone "Retina" display, so I thought this might be an issue. It turns out, it is not too bad. Photos still looks very sharp and the screen works great in bright light. Web sites are sharp enough. The lower res screen also helps with battery life.Before I got my hands on the phone I would've guessed that it would be a 4-star product. It has exceeded my expectations in every way: 5 stars!

I bought this product and within three months have gone and bought a new phone because the phone sucks. My husband has at&t and the unlocked phones are at&t but yet it still doesn't work. I contacted the seller and got blow off!! I am so disappointed by this experience and recommend everyone look at another phone for your needs!!! I have attempted to write a review for the seller but my computer won't let me.I AM ONE DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER!!!!!!!!!!

This is a steal at $188 and similar feature worse looking Samsung selling at more then $300 at least.. It was a no brainier for me and I loved the value i got from this buy... Windows apps are smooth and I have all the apps I need.. People should not have complains that there are not enough apps on windows...The build quality is awesome and looks bettering hand even compared to iPhone 5 that looks cheap..

the product was delivered in time - that's about the most impressive thing about the purchase. my obvious disappointment was the fact that there was no quick guide manual, ear piece, and a sim card lock key that was supposed to be in the box. i had no clue where to insert the simcard. i finally gave up the search and googled that information. i used a ball-pen to open and unfortunately for me the tip got stuck in there and the ink leaked. I guess the fault was mine except the seller could have spared me if they included a quick guide and the lock.Otherwise the phone was beautiful and came in a pristine order

Bought this phone as a xmas gift for myself. Spent too much on the product and the seller took forever to ship it even though I had 2 day shipping on it. I ended up receiving the phone 2 weeks later. They promised me a $25 refund which I still have not seen on my credit card. When the phone finally got here everything seemed ok, until I found out it was defective from the internal hardware. Apps started by themselves randomly whenever the speaker was used and I could not use it too much. I sent it to Nokia in Dallas, Texas under the warranty it still had and they sent it back to me in 2 weeks with a letter that said "we could not re-create your problem, and therefore could not repair your device." I went to a local cell phone store and bought a Blackberry Bold for $180 instead which has performed great! I stored this Nokia phone for about 2 weeks and I ended up selling it on craigslist for $90. THE PHONE COST ME $300 HERE AT AMAZON and I only used it for about a week. BE careful with this seller and this phone.

There are a million reviews on this phone, so I'm not going to say much other than the Camera will be everything you expect and more. Mine was ready for a software update right out of the box and updated to the latest version of Symbian. It's pretty good and they fixed some small issues with the keyboard layout, but they messed up with the predictive text. The new system kind of sucks in that it doesn't really autocorrect. You get a bar with word suggestions and when you actually type is in the screen. If you don't select what you meant, you're typo stays up. It adds another tap which is annoying. There's also no way to send more than one picture at a time from the gallery. You have to start a message, then add attachments one at a time. Very annoying when the gallery on my N8 would let me send multiple images from the gallery.Other than those two annoying little issues (which could easily be fixed with a software update), the phone has been great. I've had it for a week and haven't had any re-starts. It's hung up a couple of times working with images, but they were huge files and it didn't crash or require anything more than letting it sit for a few seconds to catch back up. IMHO it's the most stable Symbia OS yet.If they'd just fix the autocorrect and multi-select in the gallery, this phone would be perfect.

First off let me say that this is my second windows phone with the new windows 7.0 plus.... I just bought 6 months ago the galaxy skyrocket and while I loved the phone I always missed my Samsung focus because i just loved the windows OS. The one thing that stands out to me about this phone is the the screen... Considering that it only has a 400*800 screen resolution and it is the same as the skyrocket this screen just looks so vibrant and at times almost looks like picture is in 3d its amazing !!!!! The polycarbonate shell is amazing the gorilla glass screen really is the best glass on any phone its awesome not to have to worry about spending money on a screen protector and this is the first phone I've owned that I don't want to put a case on cause to me this phone is gorgeous and im actually not worried for once about knicking up the body...why ? Well the color goes right to the core of the casing I have the black cyan wasn't available but I really like the black my job gets dirty so I wanted black plus with the black the screen looks like it's part of the body not like the blue or the shiney white modelPerformance wise I've been overly impressed I love the Zune pass I love the web browser, the marketplace keeps growing everydaySo in the end I can tell anyone for a hundred bucks this phone is hands down the best buy you can get... The sheer look of this phone is stunning...all I have to say is remember when the iPhone came out and people bought cause it looked like nothing else out there well here comes Nokia with this amazing looking and performing device with the hands down clearest and loudest phone quality I've had in my experience with smartphones oh yeah and its finally nice to actually get through an entire day with out actually having to charge my phone and I am a heavy user all day with about 4 hours of talk time,texts galore, YouTubeing emails, and web browsing im not sticking this awesomeness on the charger till around 830-9 thank you Nokia !!!!

SOUND QUALITY IS POOR. THE PHONE SEEMS TO BE BRAND NEW. THE PHONE IS UNLOCKED BUT DUE TO THIS MODEL(AT&T) LUMIA 900 MY PROVIDER (T-MOBILE) WAS NOT ABLE TO MAKE THE PHONE RECEIVED OR SEND PICTURE MESSAGE. BUT THE CAMERA ON THIS PHONE IS GOOD. I RETURNED THE PHONE AND WILL RATE EXPERIENCE WITH THE SELLER SOON.

I purchased my phone from ATT but wish I knew about the price on Amazon before I got mine. Anyway, the phone is beautiful, really is. I have iPhone 4S (very nice phone), I had Galaxy SII unlocked (very nice as well), and tried couple other of phones as well. I love tech so that explains why I have had all these. Anyway, the price and functions make this phone a steller.It has the nicest/best native GPS I have seen in any of the phones, period. It is free from Nokia and you can download maps for off-line use, for all the countries, and free.Video recording is beautiful. Camera is ok, no iPhone 4 S but decent with lots of colors (more saturated than iPhone but slower).The Win OS is very nice and simple, you will indeed do more work and communicate than play or check apps and news (although I have these apps etc, I tend to use them less throughout the day and do more of the work I need.APPS are lacking if you are coming from Android/IOS, but many essential ones are there.Customization of colors is very very fun.Tiles are fun and line up nicely, live tiles is a good thing.Call Quality is good, but I feel more comfortable with ear piece/mic (similar with iPhone).Pictures hub is awesome, and the way it presents pictures, and the background favorites is much more interesting than IOS and android.Calendar view and todo/agenda is excellent. You can see them on your lock screen which is important.Office and one note integration is very useful and practical.4.3 inches screen is much more comfortable than smaller ones, while the phone is not bulky or thicker than even the smaller iPhone.Finally, the design is very very beautiful and solid. Overall it looks better than the best looking phone out there (as some suggest) iPhone 4S.It is not better nor worse than iPhone or Android-best phones, it is a great phone, and will do all you need. If you are bored with android/IOS this will be a good refreshment. If you are new, this will defiantly be good for you and you will be impressed.

I've been an iPhone user for a number of years now and I decided it was time for a change. A friend of mine got a windows phone last year and I thought the interface looked nice and clean, so when I heard about the Lumia 900 I decided I would give it a try.So far this phone has exceeded my expectations in almost every way. The Windows Phone 7.5 interface is fast, easy and very aesthetically pleasing. If you are tired of all the cluttered little squares that make up the iOS interface, you are not alone as that is one of the reasons I like the Lumia 900. The live tile area (the big squares you usually see when you see a windows Phone) is clear, customizable and many of the apps give live information without having to actually open the app. To name a few, the weather shows the current weather, calendar shows what's coming up next, and your pictures cycle through to give you a different look all the time. You can have multiple e-mail accounts separate or linked, and each of them can be it's own live tile so there is no need to back up and choose which account to view after entering the e-mail app.The only downside to the OS right now is the lack of apps. It has most of what I need as far as basic apps, but there aren't a whole lot of developers making apps for it yet, so it's missing a few things that I would want.The phone itself has a really nice big screen and it is easy to navigate or answer calls with one hand. It's quick to enter the camera without having to unlock the phone (just hold the camera button down for a couple seconds), and the quality of the photos are excellent. The only slight negative when it comes to the buttons are that the lock button and volume buttons are right about where I would naturally hold the phone when talking. However after a couple weeks I'm starting to get used to holding it slightly differently so I don't accidentally hit those buttons.Other than a few minor issues, I highly recommend this phone!
