Now I know why the iPhone has the best UI, it's simple, it works and doesn't dial by itself. The phone is sleek, comes with a mini USB slot. The camera has a reddish hue when taking pictures, has the usual digital lag during snaps. I'm back to my iPhone for a while.

Noted the date I placed the order - October 30! When im writing this review now, it's Dec 4,2013. Guess what, I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED IT YET!Is it me asking too much for a less-than-2bucks product?So the excuse being given is "the hurricane Sandy in NY delayed it." Ok so i waited. But also noted that the Sandy was in early November! No matter what, it's Dec 4 now and where is my order?!Why don't I complain to the supplier? Because I found out the supplier is in HONG KONG!It's not I care about my 2 bucks plus shipping cost, it's about for more than a month I've been expecting this product because I went to travel in Thanksgiving, so I needed this thing urgently to protect my new expensive phone!My bad! So take my advise if you're reading this, "don't be as cheap as me! Since you'd already spent 400 bucks for a fancy phone, go get a better case for it!"

I love my new windows phone! I have been a fan of the iPhone since the first one came out. I can line up my collection of every iPhone model (except the 4s). It was going to take a lot to get me to change teams, and this is the device to do it! I tried the HTC Evo when it first came out, but it was so clunky and Android seemed like an endless maze of clicks and menus to perform any task, and the UI was just so ugly!This phone is sturdy, fast, clean, functional, and innovative! Apple products have become too mainstream and boring. This is something fresh and new and I can't wait to watch the platform mature.Things I love:* Integrated contacts (the concept that a person is a person, not a Facebook person, twitter person, etc)* Integrated messaging* Zune subscription (download all the music I want into my library for a flat monthly fee)* Live tiles!! (so much better than static apps, I can see the weather and stocks on my home screen!)* Voice control! (with the Bluetooth in my car, I can listen and reply to text messages without ever taking the phone out of my pocket)* Quick, snappy, clean UI, beautiful, smooth animations* Next appointment and message counts on the lock screenThings I'd like to see:* Ability to disable auto-rotation* Custom text tones for contacts* Battery Percentage on the status bar* A way to view past notifications* A few apps I miss from my iPhone* Better MultitaskingI know I listed a lot of "complaints", but those are very minor in my opinion and can all be fixed in future software releases. I've been using this phone for almost a week and I'm already in love and convincing my friends to make the switch.

This is my second L900, I sold the first one with a good margin and inmediately bought the same model as I'm convinced this covers my needs. I'm impressed with the attention from the seller (MobileTronix), they shipped my order inmediately even when I ordered near COB. Item arrived two days later without any issues or unwanted details. On the contrary, they even included a car charger and a case. Phone is properly unlocked (as advertised), brand new, AT&T branded (nothing's perfect, right?) and it got earphones even! (the first one included only the charger).I'm very satisfied with what I got for my money.

I ordered 2 Nokia 900 Lumia phones, they both arrived in excellent shape. The shipping lacked a little to be desired for my circumstance. The phones were scheduled to arrive on 2/26/2013 and they arrived in my possession on 3/5/2013. The instruction booklet looked like the printer att had used ran out of ink. you cannot read either book. It has online instructions to compensate for that. I am satisfied with the phone itself, just not the way it was shipped. We are a rural area here and it works better to use USPS. Steve Stinson

The phone belongs to the phone company at & t is true is unlocked, but it comes from the factory as stated in the publication, I want to note that in the last comment I forgot to post that the phone did not bring the handsfree, so it seems to me very the publication distasteful that place. for this reason I do not recommend the store.

I come from Europe and Nokia is a big deal there. I've been in the US for almost 5 years an I always missed having a good Nokia phone here. I had a Iphone 4 for a year and I got so bored with it. When I heard the Nokia is coming back to US and especially with a unique device and OS I was so happy. Since I never used a Windows phone before I was very anxious to try it out. When the Lumia 800 came to the Microsoft Store I fell in love with it and I wanted to buy it really bad even if it was $899. But at the same time I already knew that the Lumia 900 was also coming in a few months, so I decided to wait. And I'm very glad I did. I went to the Microsoft Store on the 9th to see the phone for the first time, I was stunned, what a beauty. As soon as the phone turned on, I couldn't get my eyes off it, the OS is very well designed, super fast, beautiful interface, great selection of apps(i didn't care about all the people that say Windows Marketplace is very small), they have everything I need. Nokia Apps are great and perform amazing. The camera is great also, I don't see a need in more megapixels for a cell phone, 8 are plenty. If I need better pictures I can use my digital camera. The screen very responsive, the Clear Black technology gives it a very sexy look and the colors are very bright and feel alive. Overall experience is unforgettable, I just can't stop looking a it. My wife and friends all have iphones and they said the Nokia Lumia 900 is an absolute beauty! I highly recommend this phone if you want to be unique and also have a great tool in your pocket. Good luck Nokia. I want to see only great phones in the future and especially in the US.

I was an iPhone and Android user prior to the Windows Phone launch late in 2010. I bought a Windows Phone (it was the Samsung Focus on AT&T) when it launched and was very happy. I put my iPhone in a drawer and haven't taken it out since. Now I've moved on to the Lumia 900 and am even happier. The phone's hardware is solid and very well thought out - - though I do wish they'd put the power/lock button on top instead of on the side...The phone is very responsive and the screen is very good. Despite the size of the screen, I don't think the phone feels especially large or bulky. In fact, it's very thin and pretty light, too. (I find the iPhone 4s to be heavy and blocky.)The built-in apps are very good, especially the email interface. It's much better than the email apps on iPhone or Android. When compared to an iPhone, there's a ton more screen real-estate that's available for actually reading your emails since iOS takes up a lot of screen room with navigation buttons. Deleting, filing, etc. are also a lot easier to do.Speaking of Apps, there are a few big ones out there (like Pandora) that don't exist for Windows Phone (yet) but almost all the ones I want are there. There are now 80,000 apps in the Windows Marketplace and (according to Forbes) it grew at an average of 340 apps per day in March. So, personally, I don't see this as an issue. All the apps I want, I've got (no, I personally don't use Pandora!),The 4G performance is great and it has tethering (optional with AT&T), too.All in all, it's a winner. I haven't found anything to complain about with the phone. (I pre-ordered mine and got in 4/6 so I've had a few days to use it.)

I bought the nokia lumia under the impression it was unlocked just to get out of town and present it to the reciept to realise it was not unlocked. i spent an extra 100 dollars to unlock it. I would advise you stay away from these people. They dont seem to be doing genuine business. Nokia lumia is a great phone but this company is not.

I am a developer, programmer and designer. I chose Android because I enjoy hacking and all the developer tools associated with it. I recently upgraded from my HTC Incredible to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. I could not stand the under developed interface. Everything seemed incomplete and a mess. I can't even count the amount of times I have had force closes. For me, Android felt like Windows 98 and XP. It works, but many things can break it.Getting the Lumia 900 was a breath of fresh air. I am amazed on how everything is integrated so well. I'm not even sure I need to use a separate app now :)I know the developer community is small, but all my Apps I use on Android were available from the Windows Marketplace. I would have to say they are far less developed as it is for other OS's, but in time they will be in sync. The hacking community is small too, but things will open up in the future. I do want my free tethering and wifi hotspot :)I received the Lumia on 4/6. I was surprised on the clarity and sharpness of the screen. When they say ClearBlack, they mean clear black.The build quality is excellent. Solid, no creaking or loose buttons. I would like to see how it might fair in a drop test though.The battery is far better than I had expected. Nokia says 7 hours and reviews have said it is OK or not up to par with other phones. Well, The Samsung Galaxy, in normal use, it drained fairly quick and would not last an entire day. So far, my Lumia has lasted the entire day, with extensive usage (it is a new phone, I have to play with it).Overall, I thoroughly enjoy the phone. It works. It's nice. It is high quality. And most of all it is different.

I switched to a Windows Phone (Samsung Focus) from an iPhone last year, and I never regretted it. Particularly after the WP7 Mango update, the OS is slick, fast and intuitive and simply visually stunning. By comparison, iPhone OS is looking clunky and dated. But the Lumia takes the Windows Phone to an entirely new level.From an aesthetic standpoint, it is the first phone whose design is equal to the sheer visual beauty of the OS. It grabbed a page from the iPhone minimalism and took it one higher, with smooth uninterrupted lines. And the Cyan color is a nice "pop" - great change from the regular black and white. I hate to even put a cover on this phone. The Clear Black display is crisp and the colors vivid without being unnatural. I LOVE the feel of the Gorilla Glass. It's slicker with a more crystal appearance than my old Focus.The added Nokia travel apps - Drive, Transit and Nokia Maps give me more bang for the buck than the Windows standard Maps, and the forward-facing Camera will let me get maximum use out of the new Skype app. The battery life has also been fantastic - easily twice the life I was able to get from my Focus.The only minor complaints I have are the weight (it's balanced, but noticeably heavier than my previous phones), and the camera quality. But this will always be limited by optical distance, so this is a MINOR quibble. I have a DSLR if I want quality photos. I don't expect much more than snaps from my phone - if you are using your phone as a primary camera, I wouldn't recommend it, but it's just not how I use a phone.I didn't think I could love my Windows Phone more - I was, thankfully, wrong!!

I have had various cellphones over the years. Because of the lousy call quality of most cellphones, I never used them unless I had no other choice for making a call. And I would seriously mumble under my breathe when someone would call me from their cell because their voice was often pretty garbled. Well, this phone has changed my perception of cellphones. The call quality is very good. There are a few reasons why I will probably not give up my landline, but this is the first cellphone I have ever had that makes me at least think about the possibility.And then there is the smarthphone aspect of this phone. I had an Android device prior to this that quite frankly I stuck with primarily because it was a cheap date and I didn't see any better prospects out there. But then on Easter Sunday, I wandered into a store and saw the Lumia 900. It was love at first sight. The screen was so bright and vivid and the Windows OS was a breathe of fresh air. Unlike my quirky Android, this phone was a pleasure to use, and the things I care most about, my friends and email, were one click away. Sold. I walked out the door that very day with my new love.And after a week and half, the honeymoon has not worn off either. This past weekend, I downloaded Nokia Drive and my husband and I used it to get to a restaurant we had never been to. Just as good as the NAV system built into my car. And it even gave me a gentle alert when I was exceeding the speed limit.Thanks to Nokia and Microsoft for making a product that was so good I felt compelled to write what I am pretty sure is my first product review on Amazon.

I just received the Nokia Lumia 900 in Cyan. In this review, I'm not going to report on technical stats. Before this purchase I was using a new Samsung Galaxy S2 phone until it was dropped (4 days after purchase) and the LCD screen cracked, that was also a very nice phone, but not real sturdy. Since I now had to replace my phone (not too happy) and after weeks of more review and not wanting to spend a bunch more money, I selected the Nokia Lumia 900. I have used both blackberry, and android operating systems before, but to me Windows OS is by far the best. The Nokia Lumia 900 with Windows OS is so easy to use. I just put in the Sim Card, charged the phone and it automatically connected with ATT, downloaded all my contact information, sync it with Facebook all while it was charging, that's amazing. The phone was now ready to go, and I only spent $19.99 for the new phone. Therefore, if you don't want to spend a bunch of money, and hours entering contacts etc, you should make the switch to the Nokia Lumia 900 with OS, for the money it's the best phone available and another anti IOS phone.

I just bought this phone a few weeks ago and it is gorgeous. The screen just blew me away and the OS is very fast and user friendly. This is the first time I try a Windows phone and I have to say that it's been a wonderful experience. From now on I'll just use Windows phone for my daily use. My next gadget will be Nokia Lumia 920. I just can't look foward for this phone to hit the market.

My review is to help people resolve a problem that drove me nuts trying to find a solution. My phone, upon delivery, did not have the voicemail password established. This caused my phone app to open the voicemail feature each time I wanted to use the phone pad or contact list to make a call. I would have to input a password (I have a password established to open the phone up for security) so I would use the main password (I found out that ANY password would work at this point because none was established for voicemail!). The phone app would then allow me to select the keyboard or contact list but in a few seconds, the app would revert back to the voicemail password field requiring me to re-input the password (remember, I didn't have one at this point). This process would recycle every few seconds but if I was fast enough, I could get the keyboard open to input a phone number to make a call!Here is the solution: open voicemail up (call yourself or press the number 1 key), go to admin for voicemail and establish a password! After establishing a password, the phone app takes you directly to the keyboard or contact list instead of forcing you to input a voicemail password.Now you know. I switched from an iPhone 3GS to try out the Windows phone and am very pleased with the phone. I am missing a couple of my favorite apps that are not available yet on the Windows platform but fortunately I can still access them from my iPad. They will come as this platform gains traction. This phone is a great value for the price and a real challenge to the iPhone 4S.

I have had this phone for several weeks now and it is absolutely a great phone. Very nice upgrade from the iPhone. It is not an Apple phone and having said that, I am glad it is not. iPhone and Apple as a whole have moved us into this grove that we have forgotten the true potential of smart phones. That being said, Nokia has always made the most durable and reliable phones and this phone is nothing short of amazing. I would however support a move away from Microsoft software on the phone and going back to Nokia software. It worked flawlessly back then and I would expect nothing less if they moved back to their roots of doing mobiles the way they should have always been done.All in all, you cannot go wrong with this phone !

Had the Lumia 900 for a week. I'm really loving it. I orginally looked on the ATT web site but was confused by the data plans, so I went into the store and they told me I could keep my iPhone unlimited data plan with this phone and get the phone for $49.99. Then there was a rebate, so now the phone is essentially free. I took inventory of all the iPhone apps that I use regularly and was surprised to see almost all of them were already available for the Lumia 900.Things I like:* Unlimited data plan at 4G LTE speeds (thanks ATT)* Fast and fluid - everthing just feels snappy and responsive* Gorgeous Screen* Music and Video hub - the zune pass is a great deal with tons of content. Movies look great on this screen.* Call quality - clearer than my old iPhone* Free exclusive Nokia Drive app - really nice turn by turn directions. It works without a data plan if you download maps. Great for foreign countries.* Free exclusive ESPN app - best sports hub I have seen anywhere* Games hub. I like the way all the games are all in one place - great game play too. I don't own an XBox (yet) so haven't tried that integration.* Email integration - much better than iPhone* Full version of MS Office* Easy to set up and use.Things I don't like:* Feels a bit big in your hand, but the screen real estate is worth it* No Pandora app (yet) but I think zune music makes up for it and you can get SpotifyPicked up my old iPhone yesterday for comparison (still works on wifi) and it now feels old and clunky - Weird! I don't miss it at all and have no thoughts of going back. Happy I made the switch -a very positive experience.

No matter how much i try to explain it, it just blows you away the first time, the video is awesome and the pictures are just from another planet! Comparing this hardware to others is like comparing Columbus Ships to the Space Shuttle, Yes Apple and Samsung cant match it! The camera is fast,The audio on video is incredible no distortion even on a concert and theres no wind sound even at a beach! Its even have Dolby Surround the output is clean and loud, music lovers will fall in love with this device, it eats all video and music formats no complain even dragged and dropped and even tru bluetooth! No restrictions like W7 or IOS. Zoom is awesome and sharp and the xenon flash will make awesome pics at the club! Im still working on knowing the OS but the more i use it the more i like it very customizable i can even make folders and send them via Bluetooth! Overall construction is sturdy like old Nokias! Gorilla Glass looks great and the screen is way more readable on sunlight than my Iphone4s if you want to be different from the croud this is the way to go! Ps Calls sounds loud and clear no drops and have an strong signal on ATT. Also it has a nice idle screen that tells you the hour and day without pressing anything it looks awesome buy it i was scared too not anymore ;)

The thing I notice most with the Nokia, Lumia is that when I walk the dog through the forests near where I live there is no loss of signal. With my iPhone 4 I would often lose connectivity and had always assumed it was because I was away from the city, not the case. Also in the house, I always had to wave the iPhone around to keep wifi connectivity, with the Lumia the signal is strong all the time. Also the quality of the calls is very high, I can hear people clearly and vice versa which was not always the case before. Overall as a phone I find the user experience far superior with the Lumia (I think we sometimes forget with video, pictures & games that these things are primarly phones) The screen I think is very high quality, the resolution might not have numbers with lots of zeros but everyone who sees the phone absolutely loves the display, the blacks are SO black that everything looks clear & clean. The phone is also quick and easy to switch on & off, something that always seemed to take ages with the iPhone. Doing this each night I find the battery life is really quite good. There are enough Apps for me, the Maps are good, the free storage is great to keep things safe, the camera is customisable, zoomable (as is the video)and I could not live now without a Back button. Overall a great looking phone that works well and is easy to use. It's not without some small things that could be improved but then Apple iOS is now version 5.* So Windows 8 (The 3rd OS from MS I think > 7, 7.5, 8) might be the one to make this phone absolutely perfect instead of just perfect.

I purchased the Lumia 900 to replace a Samsung Focus and have been very pleased with it. The hardware is elegant and refined and complements the Windows Phone operating system well. The lack of a multi-core processor has been the source of much undeserved criticism. To that I would say, because the operating system is so light and efficient, there is no need for more than one core. Translation: less heat, thinner form factor and longer battery life.The 4G HSPA+ is way faster than 3G in my area. Unfortunately, I have not been able to experience LTE since it is not yet available in my market.Microsoft's decision to not offer an upgrade path to Windows Phone 8 for the Lumia 900 and other Windows Phone 7 hardware is regrettable yet understandable as it is the industry standard to deprecate older hardware for the sake of improved software. Anyone try running iOS 5 on anything older than an iPhone 3GS lately? Even the latest Android will not run on older hardware.As a developer, I maintain devices with the three major mobile operating systems (Windows Phone, Android, iOS) and have settled on Windows phone as my primary development and usage platform. The Lumia 900 meets or exceeds all my expectations in a very aesthetic package. My only gripe is that the battery is NOT user servicable.

firstly, the screen is loose and always dead, I buy it last year, almost 7months ago, I am just a international student who just arrive in the US, and I don't know how to complain it. in the past 6 months , I think just let it go. But recently, So many bugs and dead!!! I think this is not a brand new phone

Well, it's time to upgrade the old blackjack 2 that's treated me well the last few years. Disliking itunes, i needed to decide between wp7 and android. Didn't take long for me to choose wp7. Unfortunately (or maybe it's a good thing) there aren't too many high end wp7 phones available. I narrowed things down to the Lumia or Titan 2. I preferred the feel of the Lumia and gave it a shot.Having used it for only half a day now, i'm very impressed. The screen is gorgeous, and in my opinion, the perfect size. The pixels aren't as dense as on the 4s my wife has, but still very very good. I'm amazed at the zero lag with anything i've done on the phone... texting, adding contacts, adding accounts, searching, scrolling, panning... it's extremely responsive, just as much as the ios (in my opinion). Camera seems good, but not quite the same quality as the current iphone. But really, if i want to take solid pictures, i'm going to be using my DSLR not a phone, no matter which phone i have. I haven't even made a call yet, so can't comment on that. Battery life seems decent so far, especially for how much i've played with it today.The phone and it's OS are clear, simple, efficient and very effective at getting things done. I don't need my phone to do everything for me. What i do need my phone to do, this Nokia looks to do them great. That's all i wanted and so far am extremely happy with my decision. I'll update if that changes, but things look very good =) definitely recommend this phone and wp7!

I owned this phone and there's a glitch, water range but beside that i love it i just ran it over with my snowboard and it has a scratch and it works fine, no sd card im going to stay with Nokia i have the windows 7.5 but waiting for the 7.8 will be soon. I live it and i had a iPhone up to a 4 and a couple of androids.... This phone takes a beating and all the scratches go away fast.

I've had the Cyan Lumia 900 now for about 3 weeks, and love it.I switched from a Samsung Focus and see a huge difference in these areas:- 4G LTE speed is so much faster for every day web browsing, downloading music, apps, etc. Dont be fooled the the iPhone 4S is 4G- it is HPSA+, not LTE, which is only slightly faster than 3G- faster processor. I didnt think this would make a difference, but from an every day use prespective, I love the faster processor- apps exclusive to Nokia on Windows Phone. Nokia is making a lot of investment in the apps, and there are several that are exclusive only to Nokia phones (ESPN, CNN, and also Nokia ones like Nokia Drive, which is a great turn by turn GPS app). I read an online article recently that there is more to come from Nokia's investments.- bright screen outdoors. Nokia has done a great job on the screen technology. it is bright enough to view outdoors without shading the screen with my hand. I use it for golf GPS and I could barely see my Samsung outside in the bright sun.- 4.3 in screen. I loved the feel and size of my Focus and thought the Lumia 900 might be too large, but I've found I love the larger screen, which makes using apps, web browshing, reading email, typing, etc. all that better- battery life: last a full day on a charge with heavy 4G, talk, and GPS use. Lasts from the time i take if off the charger at 6:45 AM and through my kids' ball games at night until I get home.

Received this so call "asha 306" with a broken antenna and no signal at all. RMAed it with the seller(mobile city online) and they destroyed the phone and send it back to me stating it was physical damaged by my end. My recommendation stay away from this model and seller mobile city online otherwise you will waste the 120$ on a completely useless piece of crap phone. Nokia is decaying seriously with this kind of products as well.What a waste of time and money and customer service for both companies is deplorable :(

This is the best phone I have ever used. I had the Iphone when it first came out. When the Iphone battery died I got a samsung captivate. A few months later I got a Dell Venue Pro (Win7) and I would bounce back and forth between the Droid and Win7. After a few months I parked the Droid and used the Dell Win7 phone full time. It was just a better os. I purchased the Nokia lumia 900 on day one and I am blown away by this phone.Pros-Great screen with really rich colors-Silky smooth. It just never glitches-Nice Nokia apps-Very high end looking. It's a good looking device-Good camera. It is a hair below the Samsung camera but still very good with a good flash.-Great sound and my callers hear me well-More than enough apps on Win7 platform. It is not the number of apps it is the quality. I have what i need. How many weather apps can anyone actually use.-Good battery life-Ability to pin your destinations on your start page. My wife and I went on vacation and we just googled our destination, clicked get directions, hit the pin on the bottom and it pinned and named it and put it to the start page. When you click it on the start page it starts your directions. Just tap the screen and it tells you what to do next. Made driving around a strange town very easy.-Voice activation works very well-The screen is actually recessed just enough so that if you lay it face down it won't scratch the screen.-Great Twitter and Facebook integrationCons-I don't like the power button on the side of the phone-I had to wait this long to get one...

here we go ...1. price - a total steal for such a quality piece of hardware2. display - ClearBlack display beats all other xxxx-amoled's3. design+durability - solid, sleek, and sweet ... can't take my eyes off it4. performance - fast fast fast!5. stability - hung apps and that ole "waiting for app to close" on those "other" os's ... not here6. typing - often overlooked by a lot of reviews, but folks, this uses an onscreen keyboard and for those of you (including myself) that were blackberry pros, ms research has done an awesome job in this area ... it's onscreen typing done right!7. apps + social + outlook - check, completely covered here. the outlook integration on other smartphones suck compared to this, which i suppose, should be expected. i know some people here and there are complaining about certain "specific" apps, but they are either coming and/or there are alternatives8. looks - boy is this a pretty phone ... yea, i sort of mentioned this in 3 above, but it bears repeating :)9. camera+video - very crisp - this zeiss lens is a winner, though some reviews say otherwise, but as we all know, image quality has some subjectivity to it10. music - awesome sound, great bass, clearhrmm, i what else have i missed. any who, if anyone wants to know anything else about this unit ... i have one, just comment and i'll respond.update: as ruslan pointed out (thanks ruslan) ...11. this baby includes nokia drive 2.0 = free voice navigation turn-by-turn offline gps with international maps! there is just so much you're getting here folks.

I have owned both an iPhone(3G) and an Android (Galaxy S Captivate) and can say that the Nokia Lumia 900 does NOT disappoint. Being somewhat a "tech junkie" I like to buy the best phone available every time I'm able to upgrade. So when comparing specs to other Android phones, the Nokia doesn't compare well. But after actually playing with it in store, and seeing how smooth it was, and how it combined everything I needed and used in just a few tiles, I decided to give it the 30 day test drive. It's been 3 months and I must say I'm still impressed. The phone just works. It has everything you need integrated easily into the device, and it's a simple, easy, yet efficient phone. I also have my work email (Outlook) sync'd to the phone and it is by far the best email experience as far as mobile devices go. My only complaint, which really isn't a complaint as much as a personal preference is the physical size of the phone. I would like to see all these features packed into a Lumia 800 size. Other than that, no Pandora and no Flash Player kinda sucks, but I assume they'll be coming in due time. When these items are fixed, the phone will be a 5 star phone for sure.

I received this product yesterday and firstly the box was in a terrible condition it looked like if a "mechanic" rubbed his hands all over it....If that wasn't bad enough when i opened the box the charger was not in it's original packaging and the actual handset looked like the person who handled it was having fries for lunch because it was greasy and disgusting. The film which protected the screen had so many bubbles indicating it was removed and replaced which would be an indication that the phone was used.I payed for a new phone not a used phone and this item was purchased to be given as a christmas gift....How can i give this to someone?I will be returning same

I was very happy with my N8 and was deliberating whether I really need a new one (although 41 megapixels sounded very nice).Then battery in N8 starting to die a slow and agonizing death and you can't change it there (luckily in 808 the battery is changeable), so I needed a new phone.I'm really happy I went with 808. As great as picture quality was on N8 (for a phone of course), 808 kills it. And video is also way better. I've shot a few concert videos - sound is very very clear, no overloading AT ALL. A video camera quality of both sound and video.Transferring all of my files via bluetooth from N8 to 808 was very easy.Sound is definitely better too, not just picture/video quality.Other stuff is just like N8 (I've updated N8 to latest Symbian version, so there isn't really any difference in OS).I'm also glad I bought it when I did - I've paid $500 and now it goes for around $550.

I checked the specs on my Lumia 810 and the Lumia 900, they were only off by milometers.So I bought this to test. It is great but those milometers were important. So even though I can strech it over my 810, it will not work permanently. The holes and buttons do not line up except maybe the charging at the bottom.I wish it fit and I would have widened the camera hole to fit. So if you were trying to get off cheap with a Lumia 900 case then realize that the camera hole is about a centimeter higher on the 810 and the thickness will prevent use. But you might try leather cases, that have a little more play.

Needless to say, the camera is great, the flash is pretty strong...but I like other minor things like the Play via Radio app and the Voice recorder.GPS works perfect, and I love being able to download maps from countries I intend to visit or dream of visiting, and I can use the maps offline.But what really impressed me was the sound recording quality, both shooting videos and using the Voice recorder. The sound is amazing, clean and distortion free. I recently used the Voice recorder while my grandmom was talking and it captured every sound around, from the birds singing to the sound of the cars passing on the street, 30 meters away from where she was sitting. I'm sure my Sony camcorder can't make sound recordings so perfect like this.Another thing that I like is the ability to zoom up to 4x while shooting HD videos, with lossless quality.The 808 only drawback, for me, used to be the keyboard, very, very hard to use. Now I'm using the Swype keyboard which I downloaded from Nokia Store and it's much better than the default one.

But my kids love the phone for playing games. The pictures are awesome. Only problem I have had is the videos occasionally freeze and stop, requiring a re-boot of the phone to get them to play again. The other phone functions do not freeze, just the video. Probably a problem with the add-on memory card, but the phone specifies a class 6 and the card is a class 10 which I would assume would be a better card.

This is a great phone overall because you can use it anywhere in the world. It has pentaband capabilities for high speed 3G access anywhere in the world as well. But best of all is the camera ability. It uses the entire sensor and post-process the image to get the best 5MP image possible. I absolutely recomend this product if you are looking for a solid phone but also want a small yet powerful point and shoot camera at your findertips.The only drawback is that the phone is quite bulky, but thats because of the massive camera sensor. It has some density to it.
