Looks like this is not new phone.Cons:.1. Checked usage,this phone was already used for 16 hours2. Came with HTC phone charger3. Any Video playing get dropped after few minutes.Pros:1.Although i liked Windows OS ,i felt better than Andriod or iphone at user experience and user friendlyI would buy this phone for Windows OS and for build quality, but did not like because limited Apps, camera and video player...Windows should work on competing android and iphone apps then this may go beyond those OSs...And Nokia to come with better quality camera and Video playing..

I've owned a WP7 since the OS came out in 2010, I've owned the orignal Samsung Focus, The Samsung Focus S and now the Nokia Lumia 900.I can say without a shadow of a doubt, this is the best phone I've ever owned. I've always thought that all WP7 ever needed to take off was a sexy device...And boy did Nokia deliver, I bought the Cyan colored 900 & let me tell you this phone stops people in their tracks...literally... This past weekend I was sightseeing in a local town, and no less then 10 people stopped me asked and asked which phone I was using.The GoodCrazy high quality polycarbonate body,for being made of plastic... The Lumia feels rock solid.AMAZING screen...Seriously, Pictures dont do the AMOLED CBD screen no justice. Best black levels, period.Great antenna performance, This should be a given on every phone but alas.. its notGreat Battery Life on HSPA+...My area doesn't have LTE yet so I can't test it out under that yetMiddle of the RoadThe Physical buttons for Camera, Power and Volume are a little shallow for my taste and a little slipperyThe camera....Oh Nokia, if your going to put a designer lens on your phone.. Please make sure the firmware is ready to go at launch. I've done some pretty extensive tests on the camera... Most of its problems have to do with Focus and White balance.. Heres the thing, When you are taking pics outside while the sun is out... The Pictures are AMAZING and I mean high end point and shoot amazing. However, take it indoors under artificial lighting and it all goes downhill. The camera really can't decide what it wants to do with white balance and focus..Its like a 50/50 chance of getting both right. I've found that if you take a moment and fiddle with the settings you can get a decent picture inside, However I dobut anyone will spend the time to get it right. I firmly believe that Nokia will fix both with a future firmware update (Fingers crossed)App MarketplaceNot someting I can really coment on.. I don't use a whole lot of apps.. WP7 has most of things I use everyday built in soo...Nokia has created a super nice device that allows WP7 to shine. Once they get the Camera handled the phone will be epic. Untill then its only "Good".. Which in my book means its worth it for you to at least try it and see if you like it.

this phone is a dream come true for all those people who are still waving the symbian flag... this is what symbian at its finest.... and atleast elop gave symbian a swansong worth to be remembered.... although this phone is considered obsolete by mainstream buyers because it doesnt have an eaten fruit or a robot as a logo on it this phone is actually way ahead of the competition but because no one really cares about a an OS that has limited apps although most of the apps from the BIG two OS are mainly novelty apps this phone has the basics covered and does it well... first off the camera.... 41mp sensor with carl zeiss optics need i to say more... dont think so.... all im saying is it takes 10mb pics on full resolution mode.. 2nd the turn by turn direction it even works without a sim card unlike the others where you need a cell signal to get your satnav to work which is pointless because the reason why your using gps is your somewhere far and most likely theres no signal to begin with!!! 3rd memory capacity this phone has a 16gb internal memory and takes microsd card up to 64 gb plenty of room to store your music play your video files and take those photos in full resolution and record video on 1080p!!! and lastly... the rich audio recording.... this is not the first time nokia had a rich recording feature on their phones in fact ive had that feature even with my nokia n93 (google it) ive video taped a nightwish concert with that and audio is as good as dedicated camcorder and this is 2yrs before the first iphone was released and nokia already had a phone that has a front facing camera, video calling, 3g with wifi goes to show the innovation this company brings... anyways for all tech geeks out there and are obsessed with taking great photo but doesnt want to lug around a point and shoot or even a dslr buy this phone asap!!!!

This rubberized plastic case is dirt cheap on Amazon.com, yet has amazing quality. A work colleague had one just like it for his iPhone and paid $15.00 at a shopping mall kiosk. I paid $1.60 on Amazon, but I had to wait a little over two weeks for it to arrive to NYC from Hong Kong. It was so well worth the wait.The Nokia Lumia is a beautifully-designed phone that feels intoxicatingly silky in your hand when you don't have protection on the phone. I.e., it slips out --no, almost leaps out of your hand-- at the slightest provovation. That happened with the first one I had and the screen shattered into a thousand spiderweb cracks. Woe was me.I ordered an insurance replacement, ordered this S Shape Case and have been thrilled with the case from my first touch. The phone feels only slightly less delicious to hold, but, at least, I know that I am at far less risk of incurring the substantial expense of a replacement. And, the case does protect against minor tumbles pretty well.The greater value in this case, though, is that you are much much less likely to drop the phone in the first place because of the wonderfully tactile grip rendered by the rubber casing. I considered bulky cases like Otterbox, but I am completely satisfied by the protection offered by this case while retaining the svelte profile that allows it to slide into even a jeans pocket, when necessary.

I was not sure about moving away from my iPhone 4s (yes that is what I said!), other then a few missing apps out of the 30 or so I use, this phone has been refreshing to use and hold. I am on the road 3+ days per week and from a social aspect this phone makes my old phone (iPhone 4S) seem archaic. once you give it your Live/hotmail, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Exchange (if you have it) accounts it does something no other phone will do. it integrates all of them into a common people hub and fills in all the missing pieces. After I discovered GROUPS and pinned one for each of my Family, Work, Friends to my screen I never seem to go back to facebook, or other social tools and I can update everyone everywhere on my my travels with ease.another feature I noticed early is the Voice navigation! yes no expensive app needed, just use the built in BING maps or the free Nokia Drive application with downloadable maps so you dont need to use your data plan.there are so many things to describe and I am sure I will run out of space! I guess I would say you need to explore the phone for the little things that make like easier. the BING Music finder, Text converter, QR/Code scanner all build into the phone. or silly things like clicking on a picture you took and seeing a list of apps that you have that can manipulate this item.oh a great feature for me was this. SKYDRIVE!! so it seems Microsoft gives everyone 25G of free storage in the cloud (think Internet), this is part of your Live account (Live.com, hotmail.com, etc) once you setup your Live account on the phone and tell it to use it to store your pictures and stuff you will never loose anything again! photos you take are backed up automatically.LTE = amazing speed! ok so 3G was good, 4G is really a bit faster then 3G (it is really 3.5 or HSPA+) and LTE is faster then my DSL at home! yes I speed test anywhere from 8Mbps to 22Mbps (Dallas, Houston) keep in mind that not ALL CITIES are LTE. the top 50 cities or the top 100 cities are LTE. the rest will be 4G. also note that my now "crappy" iPhone 4S is only 4G (remember really only a bit faster then my old 3GS iPhone)PS: my 13yo son who has an iPhone 4 wants to trade it and get a phone like mine :-)

I have been an iPhone user since 2008 when they were exclusively for at&t. The type of dude who would wait on long lines to get the newest model. After a few years wanted to do something different. Was bored and wanted something new. I knew android wasn't an option. Always hated that green robot and that big HTC clock. I came across a YouTube video comparing my iPhone 4s to a lumia. Its was on on par with virtually every feature I loved and even beat it in some test. I had to see if this was a hoax. I went to at&t opened a second line and gave it 30 days thinking I'd be returning it. I was sold in 7. It was great looking solid and polished. Nice to hold and nice size screen. Os was fast smooth and fresh looking. And the updated tiles rocked for me. Sports, news, weather without going to any app. Lte was crazy fast and kept beating my iPhone easily even on WiFi. Pictures and video was good excellent. Tell me which is the voice assistant like siri could open apps and read text out loud and.respond to text. Also make calls on speaker all with voice. I use this feature everyday while driving. And i could pin everything to front screen. Music, albums, web pages games no longer having to go into app. From the music hub to the picture hub the font and the way it just looked popped and was something new and fresh. Not just a thousand apps where i have to scroll across 7 pages to access them. Who cares about a million apps as long as i have the main ones (windows has over 100,000). Everytime i use it outside people look because it's fresh new and different and not like the androids lr like the iPhone which everybody seems to have now. I'm definitely not hating on the iPhone but ever since i got the lumia 900 its been in my shoebox collecting dust. Yes the 4s. Who cares about dual core quad core because even though i hear it's single core it functions smooth and extremely fast. I'm telling you give it a try, you will see what all the fuss is about.

I am surprised that this phone does not have many more reviews and all the sites including this one. I ordered this p hone on another site, sorry Amazon, because it was actually $10 less than what amazon offered it for. And I got just in the nick of time..on Christmas eve.The phone looked a little cheapy looking compared to the other attractively designed phones but I could live without that because the features on this phone is great for my needs!I love the fact thta the phone has both touch screen and keypad facilities. It is simple to use and less distracting that the other smart phones out there. I have two smart phones and somehow, I just like simplicity. This phone is just good enough to do the basic things like calling someone, texting, setting an alarm and reminders. ...and the battery life is far better than those other smart phones that seem to last for just a day before you have to charge it up again.One thing I did not like though is the charger that came in the box was basically European with another socket to use for american outlets, however it was flimsy and not very secure when you put it in an outlet to charge. thankfully i have other Nokia charges that I could use with this phone so I am not complaining.I love NOkia and hope they don't go out of business because of the increasing competition.

The phone is great but people complain that they do not hear me well on the other side. Do not know if the phone I bough have problem or not. Also the phone turn off immediately although I made the software for 1 min.

I ordered this phone for my daughter on July 30, 2013. Got it a week after, it DOES NOT WORK now,it was not dropped or any such thing, it just decided to not turn on one day even after charging it. Therefore she only received one month of usage of this phone. After this happen, I opted to contact the seller to get either a refund or a replacement, i am being told i CANNOT!!! This is utter crap, now i have no idea what steps to take next..... NEEEEDDDDD HEEEELLPPPPP!

I believe the lumia did its best despite there're few apps useful & I do need to set up the 4g my own instead of automatically done by others brand. Anw, ATT fone use Tmobile is complicated & lumia did do the job well

I bought the phone in september, it was working very well, and last sunday i didn't have my charger so the phone turn off, when i got home it started to turn on but for my bad luck it got stuck on the AT&T Logo, and i had done a lot of things to revive it, but it doesn't work, it is an ashame for NOKIA!

Bought it 'cause no matter what camera I have had before, I have always taken a lousy picture. Had the phone two days and I am now Francesco Scavullo (google him). Miraculous results, effortlessly. Everybody will rave about the camera and diss the phone and Nokia Belle, but as a long-time Nokia fan, this is a clunky,wonderfully complicated OS. Incredibly solid feel,great phone reception and enough apps to do ya for now. People have been talking about the lo-rez screen but with the Clear Black display, it's more vibrant and colorful than most. The 808 represents a noble end and also a glorious beginning. Like the Nokia N9, you're holding history and the future in the palm of your hand. You won't regret what I consider a good investment. I honestly think Nokia will rise again, but am so amazed, fascinated and pleased by the stuff coming out of Finland right this minute.UPDATE: I take it back. Not about the photos. I had to send the first unit back because the phone wouldn't charge using the enclosed cable (or any for that matter). Received second unit and after a couple hours it just stopped fetching my gmail. Despite several factory resets, it's still doing the same thing. But what I REALLY ding Nokia on is their pitiful customer phone service. In between putting you on hold, they keeep coming back asking if you reset the phone, deleted the email account and Did I Say It Was the 808? Honestly you think they would have someone there able to take me through the connectivity settings. Photos are fantastic on this thing but I cannot live with a phone that I can't trust with my email. Very sorry, but am gonna have to send this baby back for good.UPDATE: Alright, alright here's your three stars back. I don't want to do anything to hurt sales on this. Think of it like I got an adorable, beautiful baby that started screaming. I just panicked for a sec. Don't preach, cause am keeping my baby.

The device came without original packaging. The pack they sent me it was unopened. There was a sticker on one side with the Nokia lumia IMEI and other codes. The pack itself wasn't a Nokia LUMIA Ppack that you would find in google search. I mean the BOX wasnt from nokia for sure. There were no manuals or the connectivity cable in the pack.

This phone is great. Windows Phone 7.5 is blazing fast and the features on the phone are all top-rate. The placement of the power button initially irked me, but now it makes total sense. However, I will leave others to talk about the greatness of this phone (and it is great); the one thing I would like to point out is the terrible AT&T customer experience I've had so far.My gripe is essentially this: I purchased 5 Lumias, 4 of which work great. The 5th one has a mic/speaker problem that causes ALOT of feedback for anyone who calls it. When I went to AT&T to have it fixed/replaced, I was initially treated as if I was "exaggerating" the problem, which was not at all the case. In fact, I have 5 Lumias on my plan with which to test whether or not one of them is malfunctioning. After demonstrating the problem to the AT&T representative, it was determined that the phone would have to be replaced. However, I was told that the store did not have any more cyan Lumias (the color of the malfunctioning Lumia). As a result, I asked for a different color, and I was told that in order to receive a different color, I would have to pay a $35 restocking fee for the color change. This makes no sense...is AT&T going to lose some vast additional sum of money if they give me a new black or white lumia instead of a new cyan Lumia? Now, if I were just trying to change colors for the sake of changing colors, that would be one thing, but when I'm trying to replace a phone that has a bona fide malfunction (and the original color isn't available), that is another.To be sure, others might suggest that my review of the phone is unfair since it is aimed more at AT&T. I disagree. To me, you cannot separate a phone from the carrier who has it locked-up, and I am worried that the next 2 years will be nothing like the excellent service I had at Sprint (who unfortunately doesn't have any enthusiasm for WP7).Update: Amazon took care of the issue with great speed. Kudos to Amazon for taking care of its customers and not acting like I was exaggerating or trying to game the system.Nokia Lumia 900 phone (in a vacuum removed from AT&T): 5 stars.AmazonWireless: 5 stars.AT&T: ...terrible.

soooo ... I had this phone for about 6 months ...compare to my previous android phone, it is simple and easy to use. Windows Phone operating system seems to work more flawlessly than android. (really??? how??)this phone uses a single core processor (supposedly 4 times slower processor), and 512MB RAM (again supposedly 4 times less RAM), but still works more flawlessly than my older android phone (which had better hardware) and android tablet.I am an engineer and a computer geek, but not a phone guru ... I am not a code or application developer :) All I want is a phone that does not get stuck, allows me to check my emails, some simple apps and perhaps games. For all these purposes it works just fine :)Sure it is not an iphone, but it works fine and cost much less :)I have been a big nokia fan for a long time. I would prefer the old symbian OS, but it is very old ... does not have a lot of applications etc.Would I recommend windows phone to others? definitely!!!Android phones need quad core processors, and 2GB ram because the operating system is not coded/written elegantly ... thus it needs more processing power to run it, and will probably use more battery power.Why most phone companies go with android then??? well ... it is an older OS ... they simply go with what the most common OS is ...Anyway ... I highly recommend windows OS ... sure it does not have 800 billion apps out there ... but do you really need 10 different versions of angry birds on your phone :)

This is a great phone, with high quality camera. The Amoled screen is very clear and displays the colors very well. The UI is very fast and very intuitive; there is lot of negative reviews for the WP7 operating system. I believe this mostly from android users that never had a windows phone in their hand. I have several android phones and you can really compare side by side both operating systems. Android is open but fragmented OS. You can customize Android phones and make them visually perfect but you will have to pay the price (faster CPU more RAM lower battery life). The WP7 is simple to use OS and deliver very fast response. There is less application in the market but if you go thru the Google Play store you will find there are plenty of similar or same apps. The most used apps the majority of users will need is probably available in the Windows market Place. There is several free texting apps like Google voice, there is Tango that can compete with face time and do video calls over the 3G 4G networks. Nokia provides complete navigation for the world for free no internet connection is needed just download the maps and go. There is several great apps for camera use made by nokia, edeitin suite for free. Words with friends coming to WP in fall.With the quality that the phone is made and the lower price point I believe this is really great phone. It is true it will not get update for WP8 but this due to the major core changes in the OS. I do not think so that nokia will not leave their users without any support at all. There will be windows WP 7.8 to make the some of the features from WP8 available for older WP7 devices.Look on some of the older symbian devices that still getting support, even If Nokia is shifting away from symbian now.

Purchased April,2010 for less than $15 at a national U.S.A. pharmacy chain as a pre-paid TMO kit. Intended as gift for a relative. Without activating phone, I slipped in my T-mob sim from my standard T-mob account and phone booted up fine w/o ever activating the pre-paid sim. As others have mentioned, this phone has issues, but imho this is an excellent value for back-up or when you need to travel light. Don't hesitate to buy it for temporary use if your regular T-mob phone dies. Gives you time to shop around for a permanent replacement.Basics:For use on GSM systems and only on GSM 850 and GSM 1900 MHz networks. Sold as a T-Mob pre-paid but will work right out of the box on all T-Mob plans w/o the need to un-lock. Key chain with eyelet. Supports up to five separate phone books for multiple users. Has three ports: charge, headphone and ??mini-usb?? The latter is not described in the owners manual. Manual says to rest the device from time to time by powering down then removing the battery to optimize performance. "go to" soft key just below the screen quickly brings you to an easily customizable list of actions such as setting the alarm, calendar, flashlight, contacts, silent mode. User can move the most desired functions to the top of the list.Pros:* Lowest cost for a replacement GSM phone* Clock and Timers: count down timer, stop watch, displayed correct time right out of the box, speaks the time,auto update of date and time, alarm clock, in-call timer, call summary timer. Repeating alarm mode.* Ease of use: customizable "go-to" key for fast acess to features and settings, multiple pre-configured profiles and a configurable "my profile" all easy to quickly toggle. Easy, intuitive menus good for the technically challenged. Fixed dialing mode if you need to give to a child or loan to a helper.* Fast access for toggling to commonly used modes. Pres the red end call key and the profiles menu pops up. Here you can power down, or toggle to silent, normal, "discreet, loud, lights only, my profile. Lacks volume control on the side. Control keys not ideal, signal strength may be an issue although the few calls made so far were fine. Call quality was clear, would like it louder.- A major issue is with ring volume, perhaps a deal killer for many, is that the ring volume is m-u-c-h to low even set on loud and with highest ring volume selected.- Clumsy rocker key for selecting functions, but can get by with programming the upper right soft key to access most settings. You will still need to rock the center key to scroll your list, but this works better than rocking side to side in the main menu.- Message deletion: Is there a faster way to delete? Not sure, but so far had to open every message individually to clear them. Quite time consumingConclusion: If you favorite TMo phone or it's battery/charger goes south, then you will be glad to have the Nokia 1661 as an emergency back-up. Heck, for the price you can use it as a calendar or kitchen timer, clock, alarm with a deactivated simm card inserted. Phone made in Brazil, charger and battery, China. Slim pocket size carries easily. Signal strength and reception in fringe reception areas reported by some. Have not had it long enough to verify that.

I recieved my phone and it came in a cushioned envelope the phone could've been broken. I emailed their customer service representives to inquire about the phone, because I was unable to use the data plan for the phone. I received a email that said and I quote "Hello, This phone is unlocked already you may have to get an updated sim from your carrier in order for all functions to work. Please send me a return request if you would still like to return the phone. Best Regards, Tech Addicts. " No other help I'm sure this isn't the first time that this has happened and why wouldn't I have a new SIM card. Well the answer was to download a program called Network Setup (it's free) and run it and your phone should work perfectly. It can be found in the marketplace.

I have no idea how good or how bad the phone performed. The Add that you had in your system was unclear and did not state clearly that you could not use it with Verizon. Just put which phone service that your products can be used with. It is stupid to make that information not available.So my review is based on your company falsely stating that the phone was unlocked.And I was aware of the fact that Verizon use CDMA vs what every ATT and other use.

First the device is not factory unlocked, is simply a A & TT unlocked with a box that is not original with just a charger. Second and more important the device is not working no sound function And do not even listen when I speak or I speak. I totally disappointed. It seems a telephone rebuilt and not new. I want my money back. Charger

Update to this review after the announcement of Windows Phone 8:It was hardly a secret that existing Windows Phone devices might not get all the features of Windows Phone 8, especially the features that require different hardware. After all, you cannot upgrade the hardware on a phone. That said, there will be an upgrade for the Lumia, to Windows Phone 7.8, including the new start screen, flip to silence and other features that do not require new hardware (thus likely also Internet Explorer 10).Besides, this is really a non-issue to anyone but haters of Windows Phone, most of whom are probably Android owners bitter since only 7% of them have gotten upgraded to the latest version of Android (now THAT is bad upgrade policy). Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) is a great OS as it is, and will get even better with the upgrade to 7.8. This phone is still beautiful and turning heads. I'm even seeing a benefit in not getting Windows Phone 8 on this device; then I have an excuse for buying the next Lumia version that's gonna kick even more ass!--Original review below:Got this phone a week ago, and have to say it really is all it's hyped up to be. The design is making everyone turn their heads and ask what phone it is, and the gorgeous screen with fluent Windows Phone showing off its beautiful Metro UI makes most other phones look ancient.It still takes a bit getting used to WP coming from Android, but my HTC Desire Z android phone has made me feel a strong resent for both HTC and android, being laggy, unintuitive and unreliable. Integration with Office is another massive WP benefit for anyone depending on the phone for work.The only con I have found so far is that the volume control is too loud at the lowest setting for some applications. I assume Nokia will fix it with an update, or that a third party app will fix it. And with Nokia and Microsoft's reputation for bringing out updates, I feel confident about being happy with this phone for a long time!
