This is a great little phone. The deal is that it is only 10 cents a minute, no matter what. If you roam, it's 10c. Texting is half a minute each way, so messages are 5c to send and 5c to read. Much cheaper than even contract phones. Service is great in my area, and there are no defects in the phone itself. It has tons of great ringers built in, and all of them can be used for alarms. The battery is very long lasting. I don't use it that much, so I only have to charge it every 5 or 6 days.The bottom line is that this is an excellent phone for the money, and is highly recommended.

Did not even get to activate the phone (Nokia phone seemed to work fine).Tried to activate on the NET10 website...Serial Number Error.Called the 1-866 number to activate, was hung up on 4 times after entering information such as serial number etc..."A customer agent will assist you" then nothing. Called "tech support" complete JOKE! First line agent inept. Kept repeating back to me whatever I said then would just tell me that the phone was inactive...hello that is why we are on the phone here...to "activate" the phone. Trish the supervisor it took 3 attempts to reach, told me to fax all of my information including the phone papers and my receipt from purchase...U have got to be kidding! 24-48 hours for a response and I haven't even activated a phone? Not a chance. Lucky for me Wal Mart graciously gave all my money back. I will stick with Verizon, they have spoiled me with their AWESOME customer service.

I bought this phone to replace an old "pay as you go" phone that had broken. This is a decent phone, it does all the necessary functions like calling and text messaging and all that stuff you may need to use. There's a couple of things that annoy me about this phone though. The first thing I noticed was that it doesn't show a clock on the main screen. I'm one of those people that uses their phone as a clock since I don't have a wristwatch. It is possible to set up the screen saver to show the time, however, so it's not too bad. The second thing that really gets to me is that it randomly lights up, even when I don't touch any buttons. If I'm near any speakers when it lights up (within 15 feet) the speakers emit an obnoxious feedback. This is really bad at night, when I'm sleeping and it lights up and my stereo goes nuts.Otherwise, it's a decent phone, it's a little big but I don't mind that much. There's definitely better phones you could get in the same price range.

So far the product doesn't work. However, I had another of the same from another vendor and that didn't work. So, don't blame the vendor.The CA-53 was delivered promptly and it was cheap. I bought because of good reviews of the product. So don't count my review just because my CA-53 doesn't work. I think the problem is my phone.

I dont know why people are having trouble with these phones. I have bought 4 until now in different stores. Never had any problems with them EXCEPT that I could'nt use this as an alarm clock. Tried setting alarms on all of these- they all have the same defect- the alarm goes off at any random time! Overall well worth the price. Never had any keypad trouble with any of these. Addressing the reviewer who was looking for the volume control - you need to hit the < or > buttons while in a call. To the person looking for the clock - the clock does show up on the screen - you have to go to the display settings and enable it. To the person claiming that these are not good for bad eyes - the fonts are quite HUGE on these and you cannot reduce them. Why would they be bad for the eyes?

All you need to do is download the latest version of the software From Nokia's web site if you have a newer phone than the included mini CD supports. The software is free and as long as you get a version compatable with your phone this cable will be all you need to quickly and easily transfer data to and from your PC. Buy the cable here because Nokia is Charging FIFTY FREAKING BUCKS FOR THE CABLE!

I feel foolish having even considered purchasing this item. The price should've been my red flag but I still gave it a try. A crutial piece of plastic broke off of it as soon as I plugged it into my phone and then remained there, thus creating a new project of removing it. Most importantly, the cable doesn't work with Nokia phones, the company claims it does, but Nokia's drivers can't read it. I fought with this thing for hours, then broke down and called Nokia only to find out that most third party cables are not compatable. However, Nokia's representative was extremely knowledgable and helpful and that did reduce my frustration. Thankfully I paid next-to-nothing for this product. I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH THE USELESSNESS OF THIS ITEM.

The hardware was good and such an excellent price.Software was on a neat little CD but not updated to run on VISA.I was able to download the latest software that ran on VISA from a NOKIA site so that was no problem.

So, my mobile is 6131, i bought this cable by 0.16$ and the shipment by 4.86$ crazy huh, why i give 4 stars, just to be fair enough, the cable is good, you can do almost every thing, fast transfer for files, connecting to the internet (in case you have GRPS activated from the network provider) and data and synchronise and so on, which all i was doing fine with the Bluetooth, slower but fine,why i bought this cable, to be able to update the firmware from 5.5 to 6.1 and i was wrong and the operation fail in the middle of the update and the mobile shutdown half uploaded and died, there was no other way but going to NOKIA and ask them to fix it and i paid fortune,so if you don't look for firmware you can buy this cable and you will be extremely happy, it is 0.16 but never buy it for a firmware update, please please please

I almost didn't buy this cable because it seemed "too" cheap, the Nokia price is $50.00, and well you know - "you get what you pay for ..." But not this time. I think I paid $0.88 for this cable, and it works just like the $50.00. Beats me how they can do it, but I'm a happy customer. It works!

This cable is quite handy to have, if your computer can't wirelessly connect to your cellphone. Makes it super easy to drag 'n drop files, images, ringtones, etc right into your phone's memory. I'm glad I got it at such a great price, too!

Screen hard to see for 'older' eyes. Be aware that about 2 weeks after activating Net 10 phone I began getting calls from another cell phone provider on a daily basis. When I stopped answering the calls, I began receiving text messages, which automatically deducts from your usage time. Didn't set up voicemail for this reason.

I have a 6126. This cable works perfect. The nokia software is great especially for being free. For those of you having problems remember this: 1) the cable does not go in easily the first few times. DOnt force it in but be firm 2)ignore all the software with the cable. go directly to nokia and get the free most up to date version 3) follow the directions they could not be easer as the software walks you through use and installation 4) always plug the phone into the same usb port - i noticed this glitch with my printer that the new windows tried to reinstall software as "new" even though you have been using it a number of times before. FOr some reason it registers it to a specific usb port only so just use that same one all the time. otherwise i love this. for $2 when ever other company is $50! Quick shipping from bargaincell.

The main attraction of this product is the low price.I have a Nokia 6126 Phone that is mentioned to be compatible with this cable. Well, it is...but it took an hour of experimentation and software downloads.The driver disk that came with this product didn't work on my XP machine. Apparently, the Software driver on the enclosed CD-R may possibly be out-of-date for some phones.It was necessary to download the PC Driver and the Nokia Software from the Nokia Website (a free download as of this writing)- After that, it worked just fine, although, during the install, there were some strange warnings that the USB cable was defective (it was not).Overall, I am satisfied to have save a bunch of money for a simple cable that probably should be provided with the phone in the first place.

I recently purchased a nokia phone and it didn't come with the cables. Seeing as this cable was only 2$ where as the nokia brand cable was over 30$, it was a simple choice.The only problem i had was that the drivers for the cable were too old and didn't let me connect but the seller was very good at letting me know which drivers and software i needed for my NEW phone.overall, this was a good purchase because now i can connect to my pc and update my contacts or upload mp3s to my sd card without removing the battery.

I actually bought the cable on ebay for like $7.05 but now I realize I should have bought it here instead. Either ways, it works perfectly and I didn't have to spend a fortune on it. By the way, for anyone who has a nokia 6126 or anything similar to that, you don't have to install the Nokia PC suite at all, just connect the cable to your computer, then choose the option that says "data storage" on your phone and then your file will automatically open on your computer. All you have to do is copy and paste what you saved on you computer and transfer them to your files which will then transfer them to your phone. It's worth the money.

It's only a 6-pin cable! It works fine under Win XP and Vista, together with nokia's pc suite. You can download and upload musics and wallpaper, etc... But if you want to unlock the phone through certain software and cable, it wont help. You need a 13-PIN cable!!!Good luck with all you nokia 6126.

This cable functions fine (at first), but it probably won't hold up to everyday use. I've inserted mine maybe 20 times, and one of the spring-loaded contacts just became permanently stuck, making the cable worthless. Sure it's dirt cheap, which is nice compared to the expensive real Nokia cable, but with what these accessory vendors charge for shipping, I'd recommend ordering several of these at one time from a source with a good deal on multiple items. I'm now trying to decide whether to do that myself or shell out for the real deal with a real warranty.

The price was right and the product came promptly but the accompanying CD did not work at all, however I was able to download the software from the Nokia to get it to work and once that part was figured out it does the job just fine.

Absolute piece of junk. Check the warranty date, because this piece of junk is designed to break the day after the warranty runs out. I bought one from Nokia and it still works....5 years later. Go directly to Nokia and buy the real thing.

This usb cord allows me to connect my nokia to my computer so I can transfer data (musicm, pictures, etc.) If you have a nokia that has these compatiblities, then you definitely need this cord.

I received the Eforcity Nokia CA-53 Cable, albeit rather tardy from the USPS. The cable needed the newest driver from Nokia to work and so I downloaded it and it worked well. Good investment for the money...much cheaper than from Nokia.

This cable is REALLY cheap but it WORKS!! I used it with my nokia 6126--the cable is hard to get in the port at first, but once you know you're not forcing it in the wrong way, it gets easier and I have had absolutely NO connection problems. Good luck!
