I am a novice photographer. This camera is so easy to use and produces such high quality pictures that it has made me seem like a much better photgrapher than I rightly deserve . I can usually find areas of single picture that has interest but not always the whole picture. Because of this camera, I can enhance those areas and create a good photograph from a mediocre one.

I bought this to replace my D70, the shots I got was alot better. I did not get the kit lens but got it with the Nikon 35mm F2.0. They work great because I use it to take photos of my 10 month old son. We tend to stay indoors. I also got this with SB 400 flash, together they take great indoor shots.

It's a great camera, i don't complain, great built and it feels good in your hand. Image quality it's what i expected. the kit lenses are flexible and sharp, not complains at all... but i recently founded 2 dead pixels in every picture, and i read that it's a normal thing in this body, not very happy with that.

I just upgraded from the Nikon D40x and I love this Nikon D90. I read a lot of reviews on this camera before I choose to upgrade. I have only had it for two days now and only had one nice day to use it. I am not a professional but one that love to take pictures. The one thing I read a lot about was the video part of the camera. I have to say that it is more than I expected. I did not buy it for that part but as far as I can tell it works great. I also had a remote for the Nikon D40x and it works great on the Nikon D90.

This camera exceeded all my expectations. Purchased after reading several favorable reviews by respected authorities. I have owned professional 35 MM film cameras in the past (Nikon) and several digital cameras recently (Sony and Canon)but this camera just blows them away. Even taking "snap shot" pictures exceeds the capabilities of the 35 MM film cameras using the best techniques under the best conditions. I also found the menu and user interface to be both convenient and intuitive. Great camera for a great price!

Fantastic dslr! Truly amazing photos can be realized with this precision/professional high quality camera, provided you learn its capabilities and utilize its options to create the photos you will be proud of. The D90 is inspiring as well as fast and versitile, in all lighting situations, for fast moving or stationary subject matter. I'm having a blast everytime I see an opportunity to pick it up!

Just few words. I got D90 after several years of using D70. Also used to shoot in studios with most Nikon and Canon bodies. Must say that D90 is very long step ahead from D70! If you choosing between D90 and D300 and you don't really need 14-bit color and not a "manual settings forever" guy, then D90 is perfect choice!

Theres no need for a lengthy review since Hiram Grant normally covers all the aspects.The D90 is an amazing camera and is perfect for my vacations and occasional photography needs. Never had live view before but its really nice.So why only 4 stars?1) The AF sometimes struggles with low light close range photos.2) The video mode's audio doesn't work well when theres wind.Both are fairly minor issues, but they are issues nonetheless. In any case im staying with Nikon in the long run and the 18-105 VR is a good lens to start with.

D90 is a huge improvement over D80. Almost same specs with D300. I recommend anyone who really wants a great semi-pro.

This camera is simply amazing. I have had it for about a week now and I just love it. It's very responsive, great AF with included lens, VR is a must and it performs surprisingly good. I have been waiting for this camera for the past 9 months or so and I'll tell you I'm glad I waited all this time. Another plus is a movie capture (here is a link to a video I posted on youtube: [...] ) it also is very good, but the only downside is it's manual focus. Over all very good camera and the included lens is also amazingly good.

Великолепно

I've had a D80 for over a year now and really loved it. Now that I am pretty familiar with using a DSLR, I just couldnt hold back on upgrading it to a D90 and boy was it worth it. It weighs a bit more than a D80 which I dont mind and its a very worthy upgrade over the D80 i had.

The D40 was my first DSLR and decided to upgrade when they announced the D90. I'm so happy I did; its well worth the money as a camera alone,the movie mode is honestly a bonus, and works well also!

Excellent image quality (Picture control and Active D-Lighting).Very good noise control.Perfect size and ergonomics.4.5 fps.Good zoom range kit lens, a little slow.
