Wow!! What a shot :) That was my reaction after my first shot with this camera. I bought this just about 2 weeks back and im spending almost 4hrs everyday with it and I'm Loving it :) I waited to buy this camera for very long as i was evaluating other cameras like canon d550 and Sony but finally decided to go for this and believe me folks - this is amazing. It clicks pictures the way you want and how you want. Its a very action packed camera if you are a advanced amateur or even a serious pro enthusiastic. The camera is built very well, balance is just perfect (though should be a little lighter) but its great. The controls are rightly placed and response is just too good. So far I'm loving it and hope to click some great pictures now since I've upgraded to this one after a looong time. Happy clicking :)

Wow, what a nice camera to hold and use! I regularly shoot with a D700 and D3s, but when I picked this up for my wife, I had a hard time putting it down.Of course it wont be as good as those cameras for really low light or pro level shooting for sports, but it more than holds its own otherwise.You can get to just about anything from the buttons and menus, and the camera is really light and compact. Image quality is also very good.My wife is very pleased, and shes not the kind of person who is impressed by technology easily.For more technical folks... it has on demand grid lines, exposure comp can be changed by a button on the front, as can release mode (single, low, high) and AF node.If you shoot flash, the built in flash can be used in command mode to control speedlights. It also has a cool calendar view of pictures taken thats really handy.... wish the D700 and D3s had that.Very nice camera!

I know that there are others that have gone into great technical explanations on the merits of the D90 and what it has to offer compared to other cameras - so I am not going to repeat those. What I can say is that I am known for buying new cameras and always "upgrading" - usually in less than a year. I have owned the Nikon D40 and the D60 - both what I thought were great cameras . . . and then the D90 came along! It blows those two right out of the water - so much so that I gave the D40 and D60 to family members because once I owned the D90 - the other two seemed UNWORTHY :) I bought my original D90 in early January 2009. I recently purchased another D90 body. I just had to have a "spare!" It is the best camera that I have every owned and I don't even think of casting it aside for a newer model. It is a great price for what you get too! I highly recommend the Nikon D90 to anyone!

I got this camera(D-90)from Amazon at a most reasonable price and I just love it!It's everything that the reviews say about it and more. Ease of handling, many options to choose from, and right-on exposures automatically. You can set the camera yourself or let the auto modes do all the work and the pics come out great! I am very happy about my purchase and recommend this camera to anyone who loves great pics. I've heard some people complain about the movie mode and the live view and all I can say is the d-90 is GREAT, it's not perfect. All you need is a little time to get used to the new features and I'm sure you'll come to appreciate the camera as I do.

Having used Nikon's D40, D60, D70, D200 & D300, the purchase of a brand new D90 fell right into place.This camera is for the buyer who doesnt want the "entry level" restrictions of a D60, but can't afford the D300. I wouldn't even call it a compromise on buying a D300, it's the smarter buy for me, right in the middle.Image quality on this camera can be equal to, and sometimes it betters that of the D300 in my oppinion. It's smaller, lighter and CHEAPER. Consider purchasing a nice Nikon speedlight to compliment this camera after having saved $400 not getting the D300. In addition, a battery grip adds to the pro feel and look of this camera while making it take 3x more pictures on 1 charge so I'd also advise you to purchase one (check out the Opteka Battery Grip for the D89/D90 - it comes with 2 extra batteries and is cheaper than the Nikon brand, they work the same way!)The lens this camera comes with (18-105mm) is nice and you'll get good use out of it. Very good range, clean photos, just be careful not to bang it around too much the lens mount is plastic afterall.I'm not saying that the D300 isn't a sweet camera and if you can afford it, get it - you'll be happier in the end knowing you got something more expensive than your friend next door. But if/when you think like me, being on a smaller budget and wanting to do more with it (flash, grip, camera bag, tripod), not caring about bragging rights (D3x vs. D90 - wouldn't bother me if I know what I'm doing with the D90) and knowing that the photographer's skill is usually better than the camera's technology, you WILL want a D90.

The Nikon D90 kit with lens is excellent quality for the money, but beware, it has over 20 buttons to figure out. So the first time I used it, I just put it on automatic and hoped for the best. The shots were a little overexposed, so I read the manual. The next shots were underexposed. So you have to toy with it a bit to get it just right. Most of the buttons and settings you will never use. I have 3 friends that all use this camera, and get impressive professional results. The camera is weighty compared to say a Canon Powershot, and it's not going to fit into your pocket. But overall, this is an outstanding SLR camera.

I have had the D90 since February of 2010. I am very pleased at how good of pictures I can take so quickly. Ken Rockwell has a web site that has helped me understand the camera in simple terms and I am able to utilize so many more of the features. I must say the camera is very "smart" and takes the work out of the photography if you know some basics. It is an amazing computer in itself. I suggest going to the Ken Rockwell site and investing $5.00 and some time learning. You will not be disapointed in the purchase of the D90. The lens mount sometimes has a glitch but this seems to be corrected by taking the lens off and remounting it. Or you can grasp the lens and tighten it a small amount and the contacts connect. It is an issue if it would be a problem Nikon Inc. will make right.

I have been a serious amateur for more than 20 years, and a Nikon film user for most of that time. Until recently the quality of DSLRs just wasn't there, so I had been holding off on the digital transition. Let me say that I am absolutely amazed at this camera! It has transformed my photography in countless ways, due in no small part to its amazing high ISO capability. For a dad with two toddlers, this is a truly helpful capability for capturing fast action indoors.I highly recommend adding one of the excellent Nikon speedlights (I bought the SB600), because the latest i-TTL system is remarkable, as is the wireless operation. Unless you really need a full-frame sensor or a ruggedized body, this is THE camera body for serious amateurs. I would even choose this body over one of the pricier bodies if I were a pro shooting in a studio.Lastly, I also recommend getting the vertical grip. It gives you much more stability and grip area, as well as the ability to control AF function, shutter release, and command dial functions while holding in the vertical position.

I mostly taking pictures indoor with no flash, jpeg only. After 4 months of heavy usage, here are what I think about the D90.Pros:- Taking great looking pictures. Color is more accurate than Canon (and for those who like Canon color, D90 can be tuned to give that punchy color)- Great high ISO performance- AF assist light (Much better than Canon way of flashing your subject to death)- Menu is highly customizable- Most peope might not noticed that, but the in-camera chromatic aberration removal is very effectiveCons:- CCD comes with a price: hot pixels. The sensor developed hot pixels within the first 3 months. You need to send the camera to Nikon for remap or use software to remap. Some competitors are already doing that in-camera...- Supports from Nikon is lacking. Come on, still no firmware update?- Useless video (doesn't bother me at all)- Longing for more focus points- Not as good jpeg output as Canon. Canon is doing a much better job here- No AF micro adjustment. My 50mm prime is a little bit front focus. It would be nice to have this feature instead of sending the lens back

I have owned a few digital cameras over the last 10 years. It is hard to directly compare, since the D90 is by far more expensive. However, it is worth every dollar. The features and picture quality are outstanding. My research of on-line reviews and professional opinions have panned out with my personal experience. If the cost is in your budget -- this is the camera. If it is a few Hundred more than your budget -- Spend the extra, don't compromise with something less for 20 perceent. If you are a novice or experienced and want the very best in picture quality this is the camera. I have only used the HD video once to sample, and it was as good as any cable TV HD. The D90 is capable (with the right size Memory) of taking 5 mins increments of HD video. For my use, this is more than sufficient, so I won't need a separate video camera. Connection to the TV is simple by connecting a mini HDMI to HDMI cable to a TV input for video play back or still slide show. I am glad I spent the extra 20 percent -- you will be also!!

Yup - I have the same, intermittent, and very annoying, issues with the "F--" error lockup of the camera, and also the poor autofocus. I bumped into a guy at my daughter's dance recital, and he was taking photos of his kid with the same camera. He said he was plagued by the same "F--" error.Not good. Our local camera shop looked puzzled when I mentioned this, and said that the contact on the lens mount should be cleaned with some alcohol. I have yet to try that.I am certainly not happy with these stability issues.

I love my new Nikon D90. It is not overly large and cumbersome so it is easy to take wherever you go. I had already owned a Nikon SLR camera so the lenses from this camera easily fit my DSLR which was a great savings. It is incredibly easy to take tons of pictures...download the good ones and delete the not so good ones. This camera also has a video option which I plan on using in the very near future. I am just a beginner photographer so I am really looking forward to trying out all the options this camera has to offer. So far it is very userfriendly and takes fantastic pictures. I am totally impressed and would definitely recommend this camera.

I splurged on this camera and spent more than I budgeted, but I'm happy I did. The D-90 is easy to use despite its many features, feels balanced and properly weighted, and is comfortable to use. The lens was a nice surprise - image quality is truly excellent. 3" LCD makes a difference. Have had it for over a year now and have no complaints but did find the lens limiting so I have added an 18-200mm VR wide angle zoom lens and am very pleased with it.

Nikon D90 is indeed a great product. I am new to the DSLR world, but decided to go for this make after reading several reviews from Amazon as well as other website ([...], etc)However, I would strongly recommend going to a store and getting a real feel for this product along with other DSLRs to make the best choice. The camera is extremely user friendly and after reading the manual for key functions you should be good. I used the 4 day thanksgiving holiday to explore this puppy!!From a beginners perspective I don't have much to share, but I did get a prime lens 35mm f/1.8 instead of the kit, since I wanted to exploit the full potential of D90 and not use it as merely a point and shoot. The results have been stunning and I just enjoy exploring and learning more about the capability of this camera on a daily basis. I am getting the 55-200mm VR lens to have a complete package for now!!I highly recommend this to anyone trying to venture into DSLR world. D90 has a lot more features than its predecessors including more mega pixels, faster speed, etc. Try sites like DP Review to see comparisons between D90 with D80, Canon, etc. Great product and an excellent opportunity to explore photography.

My wife and I decided to purchase the Nikon D90 as an upgrade from our little point and shoot camera. We were looking for better quality pictures and the ability to take pictures one after the other without a long wait time. We are casual users and not at all sophisticcated, and it is this group of users that I want to address. Though the Nikon D90 has many, many features and manual adjustments that are great for more sophisticated users, it also has the capacity to work superbly in its automatic modes. We have been extremely pleased with the increased quality of our pictures and have been motivated to take a an introductory class on digital photography at our local community college. This has been a tremendous help to us. I would also suggest that the casual user purchase a commercial D90 manual which are much easier to read then the one that comes with the camera. That said, on its automatic modes, we were able to begin using the D90 right out of the box. The basic controls are intuitive and easy to learn. I am also planning to purchase a Nikon SB400 SppedLight (flash attachment) with a Sto-Fen diffuser. Reviews of those products are available on Amazon and everyone raves about how they imporve your indoor flash pictures. So, if you are a casual user, don't be intimidated by the D90's many sophisticated features. You can grow into those if you choose, but it also takes really great pictures using its automatic modes.

Just go ahead and buy this camera if you are even thinking about it and wondering whether it will do what you want it to do. It seems to be a great combination of automatic features and advanced amateur/professional decisionmaking and far better than some others that I've seen.My only gripe is that the menus are a little cryptic or perhaps overloaded with information at times. But I've been adding some of my most frequent menu items to my own custom menu and that is helping quite a bit.The only other gripe that I have is that there it is so easy to take lots of photos "on the fly" that there are sometimes so many great photos to review it can take far longer than with a camera of lesser quality. As a professional photographer once told me, "film is cheap, memories are dear." Well, pixels are even cheaper.I have been a Nikon user since my first Nikon F borrowed from my father in 1973 and this is the first digital SLR that I've used after finally giving up film SLRs and having my fill of Nikon's various point-and-shoot digitals. It has been an absolute pleasure.Oh, one more thing to worry about. The camera is so easy to use and takes such great pictures that you will want to take it with you everywhere and use it all the time. After a while, your family will get annoyed that you keep taking photos of everything and they may threaten to toss you, and the camera, overboard. NOTE: This result may not happen to every user, but don't say you were not warned.

Wow! Feels rock solid. First impression says it all. Debated between Canon T2i and 7D. First, T2i feels light, somewhat like a toy camera. The 7D feels solid but not worth the price.This is my first Nikon DSLR and it's here to stay. Go with Nikon 16-85mm lens and you won't be disappointed! Video at 720p is great as well. Overall, I glad I made the right decision.

This is my first DSLR Camera that I have ever owned and so far I am very happy with it. I am very much a beginner, but was told to move up to this one over the smaller dslr bodies and I am very happy I did. Very easy to use and customize the settings considering I haven't ever even taken a class, or even hardly read any of the manuals that came with it. I am just starting to buy other lenses for the camera to see how it works. The kit lens isn't bad, it's definitely worth the extra money to get it with the kit. Video isn't the best because of the manuel focus, but all of dslrs are like that anyway.

I bought this and then returned it. I like the movable viewing screen on the D5000 much better. Also the lens connection is plastic. My nephew bout the D90 and had to pay a fortune to get it repaired less thn 60 days later.As an aside. BE CAREFUL IF YOU BUY THIS THROUGH AMAZON. For two months they told me they had received and were processing my return. Then said it would be any day. 30 days later when I still had no credit I called again and they said they had no record of it being returned. It's 5 months later and I'm still out $1183 trying to correspond with mythical people.The problem is that Amazon only accepts emails through a form. And they don't copy you on the form. So you have no proof that they ever received what they sent you. Then they send you a response and you answer it, but get an automated form back that says they can't receive emails.A REAL HORROR STORY.

I have always been a follower of Nikon cameras. I made my first purchase of a Nikon FE in 1978 as a teenager. I then moved up to the Nikon F-3 Hp. After spending a few years evolving into the digital world by using cheaper digital point and shoot cameras and being afraid to spend a larger amount on a "real" Digital SLR I finally took the plunge. After reading reviews and doing other research I chose the Nikon D-90 with the 18-105mm VR Nikkor Lens. I was not disapointed! We have made leaps and bounds in the world of photography! It is everything I dreamed about in years past. The camera is easy to use and I continue to learn more each time I use it. Just expect to take great pictures right off the bat and continue in your creativity. The camera will not be what limits you in your artistic photography! Way to go Nikon!!

Where to start, this camera is amazing, it is very user friendly (after a brief review of the manual), very accessible because you don't have to access the menu every 2 seconds to change the seconds, simply use the turn dials on front and back, and the pictures are simply amazing. Even an amateur coming from a point and shoot can benefit 10 fold from this camera, simply amazing

Thought about waiting for the new Nikon's to come out, but the price dropped to $750 and couldn't resist. Glad I didn't. Had the D70 for 6 years now, but needed an upgrade. Twice the camera for 1/2 the price we paid for the D70. Can't beat it. HD movie mode is great, even the sound. Yeah AF would be nice in movie mode, but you can still manually focus on subjects just fine. All in all, great camera.

I am a serious amateur looking to learn, I am currently experimenting with speeds and all the features this camera allows; this camera its a beast, simply the best camera to take me up to very high levels as soon as I can. However there is one thing where the camera fails, and its video, when you are taking video by night and someone shoots a flash nearby, the electronic sensors don't know what to do and the image becomes badly corruptedNikon D90 DX 12.3MP Digital SLR Camera with 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S VR DX Nikkor Zoom Lens for a second. This only happens on video; thats kind of disappointing while the other thing, a minor glitch, is that the camera does not allow you to have an external microphone for video.Thats is it, other than that, the D90 is the best camera I could get and a dream come true. For stills this is the one to get.On a side note, I ordered it from amazon, but they made a mess with my order and were not able to deliver the full order, so I bought it from a local store. Amazon asked me to fax papers to prove my identity, on a rather painfull and clumspy process. I felt like jumping through quite a few loops and they were unable to deliver my order complete, oddly one of their partners send its part of the deal so I ended up without the camera but with a very nice 50mm lense. Even after they ackwoledged their mistake they gave me no satisfaction whatsoever. I promised not to buy here again. Mmm now this reminds me.... ciao guys.

This is my first Nikon camera and I have to say I am extremely impressed. If you're at all familiar with manual settings, you'll find the D90 to be extremely well laid out for making any change required on the fly. Once you get that down, there are many other layers of settings to tweak as well. I bought it with the Nikon 16-85mm VR lens. Picture quality has been outstanding. Only thing I have to complain about (and maybe it's adjustable in a menu that I haven't discovered yet) is that the file numbers will reset themselves when you format the memory card, thus the potential for duplicate file names when you download the pictures. But that's a very minor complaint. VERY highly recommended.

Great camera. I still have a lot to learn but I just set it on automatic and go. Eventually I'll try all the new features but the pictures are great and the screen on the back of the camera gives you a great idea of how good your picture really is. I'm having a great time taking pictures and driving everyone crazy with Smile!

I've had a religious conversion, a change in faith. All my life I've used a Canon. With the D 90, I've become a Nikon man. Not a conman, but an enthusiastic Nikonman. I've had it now for 10 months have have photographed with it under vastly different conditions in the US, Canada and the Middle East, from bright daylight, to extensive low light to glaring desert light, indoors, architectural subtleties and people photos, and it just comes up trumps each time. While an amateur can have fun with it, an advanced photographer can do more justice to this amazing camera. The thinking and action time is substantially faster if you get to learn the camera well. The manual contains everything of course, but you would do better to get one of the good books on D 90 that have become available. It will guide you through the priorities and make you enjoy the camera till it becomes second nature reflex. I don't think I will buy another camera for a long time. I've not been using the DVD as I have separate equipment for this. I stick to the basics and love it. Surprisingly, I found out during my travels, that there is a growing 'community' of like minded D90 users with whom you may share your experiences and communicate. Its kind of becoming a cult camera. That itself is a huge compliment to Nikon and the D90.

I've been using my new D90 for a couple of weeks now. Got it to replace my D70s. It took a little bit of time to get used to the minor differences in the menus and button locations but everything was very straightforward and seemed to be well thought out.Things that I like:- Live View (surprisingly). Didn't really have this on my must have list but after using it to shoot low angle waterfall pictures without having to lay down in the mud to to see through the viewfinder, I was sold.- The LCD. Massive improvement from my D70s.- Recent Settings Menu. Really nice to be able to see the last few changes made. Helps to return the camera to my "normal" settings if I change something for a special shot.- Customizable Function Button.- 3D Autofocus. Limited use so far but seems greatly improved in keeping moving subject in focus compared to D70s.- Being able to actually use the pop up flash as a flash when shooting off camera in commander mode with an SB-800 as the remote, not just to control the remote flash.Things that could be improved:- Live View focus. Nice to be able to move the focus point anywhere on the screen but the focus is on the slow side.- Viewfinder Grid. Would be nice if there was a rule of thirds grid rather than dividing the screen in 1/4's.- File Naming and Number Sequence. Would be nice to be able to change the default file name and have the numbering go beyond 9999. This gets troublesome after you shoot your first 9999 pictures and start getting repeat names.- Wish it came with an HDMI cable not just the port to use one.A few minor "problems" listed above but other than that, I am extremely happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone.

I do not want to waste my time on this as it is WELL documented if you look, but I am another D90 OWNER that has the ERR message come up. BUYER BEWARE, NIKON should fix this issue, I will NEVER BUY NIKON AGAIN IF they do not address this, it was a lot of money for me, and I have a camera that is a dud. The last thing I saw on the screen was like an old TV, grey lines going all over it. GREAT camera otherwise, but like a Maserati that has an ignition problem, what the hell good is it? For all you Canon /Nikon squabblers YES I OWN ONE, and YES PROFESSIONALS have checked it out to find it broken too.

I pretty much knew how good the D90 is before I got it, and it is everything I thought it would be. I got it as an upgrade from the Fuji S2Pro (a great camera 6 years ago, so good I didn't feel the need to upgrade until now.) I shoot in very low light a lot, and want to use available light when possible. This thing looks great at ISO3200! if you are shooting in low light, don't expect miracles from the camera, ditch the kit lens (it's great in good light or with a flash) get yourself a 50mm 1.4 or 1.8, and a Sigma 30mm 1.4 or the new Nikon 35mm 1.8. The next step up from this in low light shooting is to go FX format, a D700 or D3.

For serious amateurs and some Pro's this camera fit with a "click"..., If you love natural photograph or take a walk on the wild side...What are you waiting for...? Buy it, you gonna love it.And, when you have it, come to Costa Rica and begin you adventure, could be all that you imagined...!

I got this camera for my wife because she has an unexplored interest in photography, and she absolutely loves it. She went from not knowing the difference between iso and aperture to being able to fine tune the camera to get the image she wanted. The shots are far from perfect but they definitely have a beautiful professional look to them.I work in video and film production and so i have a great appreciation for the tremendous level of control the camera gives you. Huge iso/shutter ranges, it would be nice to have a quicker lens though. We have figured out a majority of the controls thanks to the easily accessible manual and quick manual and good old fashioned playing around.The best part we've found is that even without painstakingly setting manual settings the camera takes beautiful pictures on it's automatic settings. Our real gems up to this point have come from manual settings, but that just means we have lots of room to improve.An SDHC card is a good addition for quick read/write functionality.This is a fantastic camera to help the photography enthuisiast or professional to create stunning photos well above it's price.

Coming from Canon point and shoot and seeing it's limitations, i finally decided to upgrade to dSLRs. I wanted an entry level camera at the same time will give me that room for me improve as i grow my photography skills. I narrowed my choice between Canon 50D and Nikon D90. Knowing that both are almost match with the 50D better on the spec sheet i went to a local camera shop and decide which one feels better in my hands. Being a Canon shooter it was hard for me to even look and try the Nikon but when i got my hands on the D90 everything changed. It felt better, not too big nor small, not too heavy or light and plasticy feel and it just feels better in my hands than the bulkier 50D. I really liked the control layout better, and the quick info button that i eventually remapped to my quick menu which enables me to change AF modes quickly and easily. The pictures are just amazing and i could switch between different picture controls i've set for people (nice skin tones) and to things (saturated, popping colors). The 4.3 fps or so speed is just perfect to capture my 1year old son and the 18-105 kit lens was just perfect zoom range for my needs. Again not too heavy. I also have 70-300VR lens for some telephoto shots. I've had my D90 now for almost 3 months and the new D5000 and Canon T1i that have come out and if i would have to redo it again i'd still go with the D90. The HD 720p video is ok and a nice to have feature for some quick video clips of my kids. Overall, this is a very nice and more than capable dSLR and is right in the sweet spot of beginner (D40, D5000) to pro cameras (D700 and even D3).

I was torn between getting a D300 and a D90 but after thinking about it thoroughly, why would I want to buy a camera that came out a couple of years ago and costs $400 more? I upgraded to the D90 from my D40 because I wanted the sub-command dial as well as the extra features with the D90 (commander mode, bracketing, ability to use non AF-S lenses...). I love the camera and with the extra money I saved I was able to get two lenses and a battery grip all for less than for the D300 body and grip. Great camera!

This camera is fantastic for wide range of still shots. However, it took me a long time and lots of investigating to understand why all the videos I shot were out of focus. It's because there is NO autofocus in the video mode. This is NOT described anywhere in my user's manual. Buyer beware!!!! There are ways around this if you have enough light and a subject that stays the same distance from the camera, but I find using the LCD to confirm focus manually is very difficult. Even when I preset the focus before turning on liveview, I am not confident looking at the LCD that it is really in focus. Any point and shoot camera with a video feature will do better for quick little videos than the D90. (We have 2 such cameras in the house that are foolproof and they aren't even video cameras).

This is my first jump from a point and shoot to a digital SLR camera. I'm still learning how to use, but even using it on auto settings produces clear, crisp, beautiful pictures. It makes taking pictures fun! It is a little bulky and heavy so I reserve it for special occasions. My only complaint is that it's not very user friendly for a novice photog as myself. However, if you're more knowledgable in photo taking, then this is the camera for you. I've ordered the Nikon D90 for Dummies to hopefully improve my photo taking skills.

I am still learning the camera. I must admit, it's way too much camera for a beginner. However, if you are patient and you play around with it, the camera works like magic. The pictures are phenomenal. The camera is built solid and the quality is top notch. The battery lasts really long. I am extremely happy with it and have no regrets or complaints about it.

From the past few months I have been in the market for a moderate to advanced level DSLR, and been doing some research and found that this is perfect for me.I bought this camera from Amazon for $1030.After playing with this I am very happy with product and trying to explore more features.What I like1.Picture quality - While your typical digital camera screen offers roughly 230,000-dot resolution, the Nikon D90 cranks it up to 920,000 dots, and the difference is immediately apparent.2.I found the photos are crisp, colors are rich and lifelike.3.Easy to use4.Live view mode5.You can customize D90 to your heart's content.(I am using Nikon's User manual and David Busch's Nikon d90 book to get to master all the settings and features.)What I don't like1.PriceI would defnitely recommend this product to a friend. I have owned Nikon for years prior to digital cameras becoming the standard and this Nikon has not disappointed me.Without going into the technical jargon I can tell you that I recommend the D90 without reservation.One can get great pictures by simply using the "Auto" function.The camera feels solid and the menu prompts are intuitive.I am planning to use it extensively on my next trip to Europe.
