This thing makes driving games a hundred times more fun. It resists you during hard turns and wiggles around when you start to go fast (with certain cars). I noticed all the handling differences much better with this than with a standard controller. For instance i was playing GT5 and the Subaru starts to "twitch" after 100 mph. The BMW doesn't. That cool handling difference wasn't apparent to me with just the controller but with the wheel i could feel the difference between the cars! How cool is that!

The male wire connector that goes from the pedals to the wheel was smashed. The install disc was shattered. The steering wheel snagged itself internally when the wheel was turned left or right of the middle - clearly broken not part of the force feedback as it made clacking noises. All of the packaging from Amazon as well as Logitech was immaculate so the items must have been broken prior to packaging and shipping. What a shame since this was supposed to be a gift and the recipient was the one who found it broken.

Hands down, for $100 this is the best wheel on the market. There are better wheels out there g25 or g27 but they are upwards of $200 and I personally do not see %100 increase in value in those offerings. I reserve 5 stars for those models since they are in fact the best. If I had to purchase a wheel again I would choose the driving force gt. With it, grab turismo 5 has become a MUCH more enjoyable game.

I just received my Driving Force GT and it is an improvement over the wheel I was using before that didn't have force feedback. However, the brake pedal sticks after releasing it. I've seen other comments about this on various internet forums. I'll be contacting Amazon or Logitech for a replacement.Assuming this issue gets resolved, I'm happy with the purchase.* UPDATEThe issue was resolved quickly by Amazon and the new pedals I have work flawlessly.

The description says the wheel is for PlayStation 3. It is a great wheel for the PC also. I race on line. I have owned a Logitech G25 for a long time and have had problems driving because of the closeness of the pedals. So I decided to try this wheel and I love it. The pedals are perfectly spaced...and no clutch pedal in the way. All you have to do to use it on the PC is to download the free Logitech gaming software and you are in business. It has gobs of buttons you can use but the one that I REALLY like is the 24-position realtime adjustment dial. Using the Logitech software you can map keystrokes to it to fine-tune brake bias and other on the fly settings for unprecedented control over the car's performance...right on the wheel!!! No more fumbling for the F keys on the keyboard during a race to adjust the brake bias when the car gets tight. The pedals are cheaper looking but work very well. And as far as the wheel itself...compared to my G25...I can tell little if any difference. The worse thing on the wheel are the "paddles" which are really just over sized buttons and are rather stiff. With a little practice I'm sure they will be acceptable. The G27 is a great wheel...so is this one. Not to mention the G27 costs close to $200 more than the DFGT and for it's price should have a chrome plated adjustment dial (It doesn't have one at all!). For a comparable price to the Logitech MoMo (I've owned 3 of these), which is Logitech's lower priced "PC wheel", the DFGT is a far, far better wheel. Don't believe this wheel can only be used on the Playstation...it's also a fabulous PC wheel.

Using the wheel over the controller makes all of the difference in GT5! It takes some getting used to at first because of the force feedback. After a bit, you feel like you're connected to the road. Also, I'm not sure if it was listed, but this has paddle shifters on the back of the wheel so you don't have to take your hand off the wheel to use the little sequential shift knob. Great product!

I replaced an older Logitech wingman formula force GP with the Driving Force GT from Logitech. What a difference! I really like the new racing wheel. The force feedback is better and the 900 degree turning radius is great. Also, a much better price on Amazon.

The Driving Force GT provides a driving experience unmatched to wheels in it's price range. The driving feedback from this wheel is superb that you feel everything the wheels are doing, from gravel hops to spin outs. It has brought Gran Turismo to another level of realism. Make sure you have a sturdy table or else you will be fighting this wheel to stay put! Love it!

I got GT 5 and quickly realized a steering wheel was needed. This is the first time I have ever bought a wheel for any system and I must say I have been missing out. This thing is great. Didn't want to splurge on a playseat so i got a cheap mount for $60 from besttimegamingproducts.com here on Amazon.com which works great with my office chair. I highly recommend this wheel as well as the cost saving mounting solution I chose.

Simply put, could there be improvements made to this wheel? Yes. Will you get those improvements in a wheel that costs $100? Nowhere close, next step up for a proper driving wheel I believe is $200+. This wheel is a great deal, sure the pedals are a bit steeply angled but that is easy enough to adjust to.

First off, this is a very nice wheel and it works very well. It is a great addition if you own Gran Turismo 5 Prolouge (and Gran Turismo 5 when it comes out). it works seamlessly with Gran Turismo (in fact, the creators of the game helped design it) and gives you more precision when playing the game. The greatest feature of this product is the force feedback, which simulates the wheel movement you would get in a real car, like when you brake the steering wheel locks up a bit and when you turn against a curve, the wheel "fights" with you. This is the best feature and makes the game a lot more fun to play and almost simulates driving a real car. This wheel also brings out all of the details of the road that you can not get from playing it with the controller, like small bumps in the road, and you can feel when the front wheels have more or less grip on the road. Another attention to detail is the pedals, which are very sensitive, and that the brake takes more force to push down than the gas. To sum it up this is a great product, that is very durable and makes Gran Turismo more fun and realistic. Note: when purchasing this wheel make sure you have a good stand or table to mount it to because the force feedback can be rather strong and needs a good place to be mounted, (via little clamps on the wheel). Also, you can change of the force of the force feedback and other steering wheel settings under the options menu on Gran Turismo 5 Prolouge. Another thing to note, when you have it plugged into the wall socket and the PS3 and turn the PS3 on, the wheel turns on its own to calibrate it, it does this every time you use it. Great steering wheel!

Worth every penny. Very responsive and force feedback adds a new layer of gameplay. Pedals are easy to use (sometimes slides around on wooden surfaces but not too badly). Wheel comes with a clamp so you can clamp it to a table or something to keep it from moving. Good product, satisfied with it 100%.

great wheel. This was my first racing wheel and everything about it from customizing the settings to the design is just amazing! i would buy another just so whenever i have a friend over we can BOTH use a wheel!

I highly recommend this Wheel! It's look is great, it is extremely easy to use, and is going to be completely addictive on racing games. I can't imagine how would be to own the G27, maybe in the future I would get one. In the meantime, let me tell you that this wheel is very impressive, the force feedback feels awesome, and I'm sure you will enjoy it if you like racing games!! One of the best devices I have purchased for my ps3!

I ordered this wheel a few days after buying GT5. This wheel is AWESOME and makes the game more fun and makes you more precise as well. Word of warning the force feedback is STRONG and take a lot of getting used too. Go into settings on GT5 and turn it down and turn on power steering. Other than getting used to it, it's a great wheel and is really fun to use! Highly recommended.

The steering wheel is great, the pedals are poor and the only drawback. I use it for iRacing, as a lot of guys do, and it works well.

The steering calibrates way too often. Also, the feed back is just too jerky IMO. Waiting for reviews on the thrustmaster 500 and for the logitech G27 to be supported on GT5. I really want a manual shifter. At least it is priced appropriately.

I really wanted the G27 but didn't care to pay for it. This is a great cheap solution. This wheel is amazing and fun. I use it for GT 5 and the drives work perfectly. Even the lady friend can have fun playing GT 5 now.-> This wheel does not work will with Grid!

A must have for Gran turismo. Works great but I'm getting callouses on my hands from use. made a base out of 11/16" plywood and a 2X4 which sits on the chair and under my butt.

The wheel is a good time, just make sure it is securely held in place, otherwise driving will get a little interesting. All in all, a good product though!

If you play Gran turismo 5, you need this wheel. I would highly recommend this product. The shifter leaves alot to be desired, but thats ok because it has paddle shifters as well.great wheel, ok price.I really think PS3 should offer a package with this wheel and GT5.

This wheel is awesome. definately worth the money. i cannot even play GT5 with a controller anymore. make sure you have something sturdy to clamp it to, the force feedback get intense sometimes.
