I was able to use this wheel for GT5 for about a week before returning it to upgrade to the G27. For the price, the wheel is amazing! The only complaint I had was the lack of a proper shifter as well as the cheap plastic pedals without the clutch. I guess they had to cut a few corners to keep the price low. As for the function of the wheel, the force feedback was great and the button placement and ability to adjust assists while ingame is great and to be honest I miss that ability when using my new G27.If you are wanting a wheel for GT5 and are on a budget this is the wheel for you. It will change the game completely once you experience a good force feedback wheel!

This wheel is good for GT5 and F1 2010 on the PS3.Dont let the lower price fool you as we have tested this wheel vs many more expensive wheels including the LogitechG25 and G27 versions and found very little difference in speed performance between the three wheels. "Feel" is up to the user and personally i would "feel" ripped off with the higher prices of the other wheels considering this one does the job just fine for alot less money.Certain games do not perform well using this wheel. Which games? If you check in the support section of the game developers site and the support is not listed for the wheel then most likely the wheel will not perform to specs. A good example is the game Blur. The pedals do not work and the wheel tends to over steer and throw you into the wall when used with Blur. Kinda takes the fun out of the game. Hopefully a fix is in the works.Overall a sturdy build and cheaper price makes it worth the purchase if you are looking for good controller forGT5 and F1 2001 on the PS3.

I purchased both GT5 and the GT Force wheel. The game was fine. The steering wheel was also fine. The pedals were whack. The gas pedal worked ok but it was the brake pedal that had problems. It started acting up the first day i got it. When you step on the brakes during the game the pedal would not release all the way when you let go, so that meant you would have to grab it with your hands and pull it all the way up every time you brake. It was a hassle after awhile. I started getting used to pulling the pedals up with my toes but it isn't the same and you react more slower than you normally would in the game. So sad too bad.

I bought this the week GT5 came out. I have to say, at first it was very tough to get used to. I have never used a wheel before, so my experience is new overall. I got pretty frustrated in the beginning because I didn't know how to handle the wheel correctly. But overtime I started to get the hang of it. I changed some settings (FF set to 3 or 4, power steering enabled). Soon I was having a lot of fun with it! So don't give up so fast. But anyway the build quality is above decent, nothing too fancy but it looks solid! My only problem is when ever you start the game/leave the game the wheel turns both ways automatically. Kinda annoying.

aesthetically, it's a nice looking steering wheel. The build quality looks like it will last for years. The wheel is molded in a rubberish material, so it's not going to feel plasticy and slip in your hands. Currently, I have it hooked up to my computer to play RACE ON. I had to reconfigure some of the buttons to do certain task, after that, it was fun to play with. I had to tone down the force feedback, because it can be a bit of a workout playing with this wheel...ahaha...very fun though.

Well, i bought this for a change from genius speedwheel 5 pro. I think that it was the best change i could make for 150$, its simply amazing and is full compatible with pc games like live for speed and rfactor.The force feedback works awesome and its very strong, and the buttons are perfectly located, the carpet grip system works great, and its very resistant too.the one think that i dislike is that there are to many wires >.<, but i dont care about it.Fully recommended5/5(Now im a logitech fan =D)

I got this item shipped to me rather quickly from the seller without any problems.I got this steering wheel to use with several PC racing games I own such as NFS Shift and Dirt2. After installing the profiler drivers and tweaking the settings in the profiler and in-game wheel-settings, this wheel works fantastic. All the buttons are recognized and programmable as I like. Very responsive, great feedback, and I can "feel" the road I'm driving on. Driving with this wheel almost feels like the "real thing". Pedals feel nice too, and the "no-slip-grip" option for use with carpeted floors makes it stay in place. I'm doing better than ever before in the racing games I have and winning a lot more races now. :) A lot of fun and exciting to drive with this wheel.Highly recommended item for a great price.

The wheel is fantastic. The feedback from your actions in the game is very realistic (almost too realistic sometimes). If you get ahead of the pack at Daytona in GT5 and the rest of the pack starts to catch up to you, you can actually feel the car get squirrelly as the air from the cars behind you start to lift your rear end up; and when you are three wide, you can really feel the wind buffeting you around. The only problem I have with it is trying to find the right furniture to attach it too. My coffee table is too low and patio table is too light.

i think this is a great buy and even though i felt slower in GT5 i was actually faster than using the controller. drifting is a huge learning curve for me though. the only gripe i have is that the on center feel is pretty much not there. on every car in the game i noticed that if you just let go of the wheel on a flat straight, the car will rock back and forth then spin out. if another 150 bucks fixed that in the g27, if i could do it over again, i still would have bought this instead.

I bought this wheel as a gift for my boyfriend who plays nascar and world of outlaws on the ps3. He loves this wheel and says it has made his driving much better. Great wheel!

I had always been interested in buying a racing wheel but just never got around to it. After some pretty deep research I decided to go with this wheel and oh, boy, I hit the jackpot. I bought it slightly used but it is in absolute tip-top condition. The resistance on the wheel when you turn is perfect. Even when you catch air the wheel goes "loose"; such an amazing attention to detail.If you're worried that you won't like using a wheel because it's different, well, it is. I'm still pretty bad with it, but with some decent practice you will start to get the hang of it in no time at all. Now I just have to wait for Gran Turismo 5 to get some REAL good use out of this work of art.

I have used my buddy's momo for a long time and found this little toy on amazon.com. What a great investment. This wheel is just freakin awesome with so many buttons that you can set to do whatever you want. I know initially it was suppose to be only for the PS3, but I bought mine for my PC and it worx great. I had thought about saving up to by the G27 for around $250, man am I glad I didn't. Yeah you might not have the clutch pedal but this little thing for the price is oh so worth it. I have had it for several months now and love it more everytime I use it. I would recommend this to a friend and in fact I already have. My buddy has 4 momos set up in his computer cave and he is now looking to get one of these. Great job to logitech for this little toy.

I bought the Logitech PS3 Driving Force GT Racing Wheel as a birthday gift for my dh. It arrived on time. It's constructed well with quality materials. It has brought him countless hours of fun. He initially started playing GT5 with the standard PS3 controller but after using Logitech's Driving Force GT Racing wheel the gameplay has been brought to a whole new level.

I bought this wheel hoping that it would give a good simulation of real race driving.Sadly, I found out too late that the force feedback simulation was not realistic enough. I tried all levels of force feedback adjustments in order to justify my purchase(maybe even close to a hundred times... yes I was desperate...), but failed to get a satisfactory setting. My feeling after trying out this product was that the technology for realistic enough & satisfying driving simulation was just not out in the market yet. Some people say that there are other more expensive & better simulation wheels such as the G25 which do a much better job of realistic simulation, but I am very doubtful of that since Driving Force GT is supposed to be the official wheel of the most realistic race driving simulation franchise called Grand Turismo. When buying this wheel I really looked forward to getting a realistic simulation which the hand held controller just did not provide before. But now, after the great & unexpected dissapointment, I have decided to sell all of my driving games & also this brand new Driving Force GT Wheel which I wasted my money on. Anyone with a driver's licence will immediately notice that this is not how a real car's steering wheel would feel like on real road. I think buyers expecting realistic simulation should at least try out the wheel & force feedback adjustments before buying it. Maybe in 5 to 10 years there will be a proper Game Wheel with better simulation technology. Until then, my wallet will remain in my pocket. I gave two stars for WORSE than 'average' rating....

Well, i would love to be able to review this product, but I NEVER GOT IT, even after paying to make sure it arrived for my daughter for Christmas. Instead, a cheap telescope arrived at my door and I had to quickly send it back in order for them to then send me the right item. Was it a ploy? Because after I sent back the telescope, they told me the driving wheel back ordered. I'm really disappointed.

Placed an order for this jan 23, one day shipping, really wanted this wheel, it said the delivery estimate was somewhere between feb 15- 23. it is now feb 23 and my delivery time just jumped back to March 13 around, really debating cancelling now and finding it somewhere else.

Ordered on Feb 14. Still waiting. Looks like others have waited longer. May cancel and drive to a nearby gamestop to purchase for less. Add back fuel and it is a wash on $$$$ but at least I would have the thing.

Good setup for the price! Havent used a G25 or G27 so I cant really compare it to those. Main reason I didnt go with one of those was I knew I'd be too busy in difficult races to be messing with a shifter, so I went with the Driving Force. For those who do like the manuals over the autos, there are ergonomically located buttons on the back side of the steering wheel which work well for paddle shifting.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up.They list the ship time at 2-4 weeks, when in reality it's 8 weeks.I have been waiting 7 1/2 weeks as of today, and am about ready to cancel my order.I will update this post went as soon as something happens

Wow. This wheel is outstanding.I always used to play with the Dual Shock controller and then when GT5 came out i decided to get this wheel.Christmas came early, i am enjoying this wheel too much!Even when i go out for a drive in my real car, i get the sensation i am driving Gran Turismo. It's THAT realistic. I'm not going to state the obvious by duplicating some reviews. But i just want to say that Gran Turismo is not the same game if you compare this wheel to the Dual Shock Controller. Not even a mile close!Go get this wheel now!

All i can say about this product is that it is the best wheel i have experienced so far in my video gaming career. i would recomend this to any one looking for a realistic experience. when playing gran turismo 5 i can feel the weight speed curbs when the wheels lose all there traction. But a word of caution do not try to drift with it you wont do too well with it.
