First, LG TV buyers shouldn't have to buy this adapter, especially when their TV's were advertised as "Wireless 1080p Ready." But that's another matter. After finding out I needed the adapter and buying it, now it doesn't work.The TV recognizes the adapter, and even can see my wireless network. But it won't accept the password. Customer service was unhelpful and couldn't figure it out.My advice: If you need wireless on your TV, don't buy LG!

LG wi-fi is proprietary, so you have to get there adapter. It does seem a little big (almost 3" out of TV) but it is in the back and never seen so no problem there. Hooked up to Netgear wireless/n with ease. I saw it at $79.99 and felt like LG as trying to take me for a ride bu again Amazon.com saved the day with a more tolerable price. I have used it for hours on end with no problems. You may have to reestablish contact after power loss but as you know LG makes there stuff user friendly.

The LG WI FI adapter worked the first time after the setup was complete. I was expecting a least one hiccup but none was encountered. Just make sure to write down your WEP key, etc on your wireless router and have it ready. The prompts on the TV setup, walks you through a few short steps and your ready to stream.

I personally thought that the installation was very simple. I plugged it in and then managed without reading anything to navigate the screens to find how to link with my WiFi. There was a bit of annoyance in typing in the password - but that was solved in about a minute.My only question is...what is the point? You get a few widgets like weather and stuff, but it isn't fully integrated with the internet. You can't really do anything fun. I don't have Netflix so that's pretty pointless.

The device took a while to accept my wireless network password and connect to my home network.Had to try and connect probably a dozen times, but once hooked up works fantastic.My router is an Apple Extreme a/b/g/n router

This wireless adapter works well and picks up the same signals as my laptop/cell phone. the LG TV picked up the signal and the on screen instructions were fairly easy to follow. Was able to start using netflix within 30 minutes of unpacking the TV.

I recieved the adapter and connected it to my secured wireless network with no problems. I don't know how well it works with an "n" network but with the "g" network I have, the only issue is when someone uses the microwave it loses the signal, But that's because it's using the 2.4ghz bandwidth that the microwave interferes with. Other than that it works great. Alot more convenient than hooking a computer up to the TV. Two thums up.

I'm not a real techy so I was a bit concerned about whether this would be plug-and-play. Turns out, my network settings were fine (after brushing up on how it worked) and the unit worked the first time out. The streaming works well for You Tube - with only an occasional interuption for spooling - but I haven't used it to stream a movie yet. So far, so good!

Installation was as simple as it gets, simply plug it into the USB port on the back of the television with the LED facing upward. After plugging it in, I simply went into the TV menu, entered my wi-fi settings and was off and running. It downloaded a software update which didn't take much longer than my other LG TV, which is hard wired to my access point. Wireless N coverage is great and works fine with my wireless N router. Fast and reliable speeds.

Love this product definitely does what it needs to do it picks up my wireless signal from downstairs on the other side of the house if you have Netflix and a lg Internet ready tv this is a must have in my book

Installed easily. Linked to my network just. I did raise the power on my router to ensure a good signal, but that can be expected from such a small device and small antenna.I do wonder why they supply it with a cap to cover the connector, since after you install it there is no reason to ever remove it.

We purchased our LG TV from Costco and just had to try the wireless internet connectivity. I was afraid that the wireless wouldn't be able to handle the streaming HDX movies from NetFlix, but I also didn't feel like running a wire (that's so 90's).Anyway, we're enjoying watching streaming Netflix movies if FULL HD with no problems (I have no idea how they do that). Also works great with Zulu (or whatever that other video streaming service is).Some of the higher resolution videos on YouTube seem to pause quite often. However, I see that very same effect on my laptop (wireless connection) as well.Great purchase.

This is Awesome. I just bought the LG 55LE5500 55" LED-LCD TV and tried to use a Netgear wireless adapter for $80.00 but it did not work. I returned it and bought the LG An-WF100 WI-FI USB Adaptor and just plugged it in to the TV. Now I can stream nextflix and You Tube and others programs perfectly.All for half the price.

I plugged this adapter in and entered the required data to connect with my WPA protected wireless router. It seemed to work pretty well. I couldn't get the same Netflix quality as from a wired connection, but it worked. Then I tried to use the TV another day with the wireless and it just would not connect. When my router would show up in the list of wireless networks it showed plenty of strength, but it would never consistently connect. Now after getting a bit dirty and running a CAT6 cable from one of my gig switches I get a perfect connection every time and best quality from Netflix. I'm not a huge fan of wireless. Wired always works better. And this adapter has turned out to be nothing but junk. I'm sure it might work if it is in the same room as the router... Maybe.

easy purchase,fast delivery. bought for lg 60pk750. i don't know why people say they have so much trouble setting up. plugged into back of set followed on screen directions works perfectly and router is upstairs opposite corner of house. best way to watch movies, no more discs to go out and rent or wait for mailman.

I was told that I needed an LG dongle for my wireless "ready" TV in order for it to be completely wireless with my router. (TV is a 55 LE 5500) Love the picture. However the dongle was proprietary to LG machines and had not been even issued yet by LG - which I thought was strange and not particularly smart. However, after a couple weeks I heard that the dongle had been completed and was on the market - but only on the west coast. So I found one through Amazon.com and it arrived in about a week. It is called an LG AN-WF100 Wi-Fi USB Adapter and is the only one the 55" LG will work with. That seems a little strange to me also. Why make things so difficult? And if you do, how about letting the retail sellers know about it. I should have been told that before buying. However it has all worked out because I installed the dongle immediately, the bright blue end of it lit up and is working perfectly. So all it well except I believe that the dongle should come with the TV if it is to be truly wireless. Cost me another $80.00 too which I could have done without. I like my TV, I like my dongle, I don't like the marketing ploys to which I was subjected. Lg can do better than that.

This product is great. My LG TV detected it as soon as it was plugged in. You only have to set up your connection to the internet, it's like connecting to your wireless with a laptop. Sometimes the TV does take a little longer to boot up so the connection isn't always instant as soon as you turn the power on, but it doesn't take very long regardless. My TV is a room from the router, but I use Netcast without any delay.

After I upgraded my DSL speed and got a new wireless router, this little adapter works great with my TV. It is so much fun to stream Netflix, MLB, and YouTube to my TV.

I'm something of a gadget-hound, and our TV is already attached to a TiVo and PS3, so I got this more out of curiosity than need. It is well worth the $40 or so to give my LG TV all the functions requiring Web access. Netflix streams more smoothly than through the TiVo or PS3. I can stream Vudu, which is great for new releases. And the YouTube UI is better (IMO) than on the TiVo or PS3. It's making me love our relatively small (32") LG LCD TV more than our larger and much more expensive Samsung LED TV.

I bought this device to get my LG LED TV connected to the internet so that I could use the internet related features that the TV is capable of providing. I could not watch a movie with this device because the movie would not stream continuously to the TV with this USB adapter. Instead, I have bought an Airport Express base from Apple and hooked it up with an ethernet cable to the television. It works far better. I would not recommend this product.

I use this adaptor on the back of a new Wi-Fi capable TV I just purchased. It was needed so I could access my Netflix account. Excellent product, I highly recommend it.
