I have a 55" LED HDTV LG TV and tried a generic TRENDNET and it didn't work. So I went with the more expensive LG one, but it works great with the LG TV. Supper easy set up and works with the 5ghz router. Can't go wrong with this product.

This adaptor works well. There was a bit of a setup process. It wasn't like you just plug it in and bam are instantly watching Netflix. But it wasn't anything unusual either.My only issue with it, is something that I can't even say for sure if it's the adaptor's fault or what but, when I watch a Netflix program or movie, I have to turn the volume way up vs where I have it while just watching TV. But that could be a Netflix problem, not the adaptor's fault. I can't say for sure because I have never used the adaptor for connecting to anything other than Netflix.I would recommend buying it. I have never had any problems with not being able to connect.

It works...that's all that matters. The signal strength is based on your internet speed and wireless modem. The netflix app runs fast, but not how if runs from my PS3 & Wii. I would still recommend it just for the fact you don't have to worry about wires and on top of it...Its not visible, except for when its completely dark and you see the glowing blue led light...LOL. But, I would still highly recommend this product for any LG TV owner

I bought this to use with my LG55LE5500 set. The item arrived as promised and I set out to set it up. It took five or sex attempts at getting it to recognize the wireless system in my home. I have a strong signal and other wirless devices have never had an issue being recognized. After finally getting it to sync it lost the connection several times. After repeating the setup again it has worked good thus far (6 days now).The ability to stream NETFLIX and other related media is a blessing. I am not a techno geek but have enjoyed the plunge and would recommend this setup to everyone.

Bought this first week of March, arrived quickly (thanks Amazon!). Plugged it in and had it up and running in about 5 minutes later. This was about the easiest wireless hook up I have done. I use it to watch netflix while working out on an LG LD550. The picture is great, no jitters, and no problems at all with anything. The resolution is no different from a Bluray disc from what I can see. I'm using it with a Trendset 'N' Wireless router and Mediacom internet.

Bought a new LG TV and saw that we could get this little do-dad and plug it in and access our Netflix account through our wireless router. The router is downstairs and on the other side of the house and the reception and responsiveness is perfect. This is not a connection to your Internet account, but it's great for watching Netflix, YouTube, Yahoo and some other services. If you have a Netflixx account, you need this.

I buy almost everything from amazon. My reasons being best price with no tax, free shipping with Prime membership. I recently bought an LG tv which is wireless ready(that means we need extra adapter to connect the tv wirelessly) I bought this adapter in best buy for 54% more than what Amazon offers. After I looked at amazon, I Immediately placed order. That best buy one is going back. Amazing how amazon does their business and it is being delivered Today (with prime shipping.Placed order 10PM last night.)I feel I am being pampered by amazon shipping service.This adapter overall is great it gives the flexibility of conneccting your TV wirelessly. Very useful for a bedroom tv. Love my LG tv.

This is a great adapter. I'm very happy that we can stream Netflix and other stuff on our TV now. But I'm wondering why this device was not included when we purchased the TV. From what I can gather, most other manufacturers do include it.

After purchasing my 46" LG LCD HDTV (46LD550) almost exclusively because of the connectivity to Netflix, I decided to buy this LG Wi-fi dongle to keep from having cords running all over the house. There were other dongles for sale at the big box store I got my TV from, but not from LG, and there was no guaranteed connectivity with my TV (and I like to have my brand names match). After looking for this dongle on the big box store's website, it was almost twice as much! Thank goodness for Amazon!The dongle arrived several days early (!) and as soon as I took it out of the package, I plugged it in to one of the two USB ports on my TV. The TV picked up the signal immediately and asked me three or four simple questions (which network to connect to, my security password, etc.) and viola, I was connected and watching Netflix in HD!!I agree with other reviews that this dongle should have been included OR just built into the TV. I also with that the "NetCast" feature on the TV had more content, but that really has nothing to do with the performance of this product.Overall, I'd recommend this to anyone. For this price and the ease of use, it's worth it to make your new LG HDTV sing!

I put it in my TV and it just worked. No hassle. No configuration. Just stick it in, click on "Netcast" on the remote and I have various network-powered TV services. Ten minutes later, I'm watching a Netflix movie with my girlfriend.

Works and functions great - as long as it's close (really close) to a WI-FI source.Somehow I feel LG is boasting internet capability without emphasizing that its use is limited to only a few services...You won't be able to surf the WWW - if that's what you're after, forget it.

I attached this dongle to a LG 46" TV we just got for Christmas. Our TV is on the other end of a big house and on a different floor from the router. I was afraid that because of the distance and being BEHIND the TV, reception would be poor. The dongle worked perfectly, we were automatically asked to update the software in the TV, everything else was automatic and - voila- there was Netflix as a choice for internet use!!! Netflix asked us to enter a code on the Netflix website on the computer, we did so, and were streaming movies. Some movies were of better quality that others, but that has nothing to do with the wireless adapter.Have never had an electronic add-on work so seemlessly. I think those who gave negative reviews had defective equipment.

I had no problem using this for my new LG 42LD550. I received it in only a few days, installed it immediately and I have been able to enjoy Wifi flawlessly ever since. The only complaint is that this device was not included with the TV and had to be purchased separately.

I plugged it in, and it immediately found my network. All I had to do was enter the WEP password (on the bottom of my router) and I was connected. Once I opened the Netflix application, it offered a password that I had to enter in my Netflix acct. on the computer. The software was updated automatically, and then my streaming queue popped up and I started watching. Total time: less than 15 minutes. My router is upstairs and tv is down and the signal was fine, no dropout after watching for over an hour. If you have an internet ready LG tv, this is perfect! I thought I might need my manual, but this thing really is plug and play.

This small device has transformed my movie watching lifestyle. I can now just lay in bed when I am not really tired and watch a Netflix movie. It was simple to setup and I am just in awe of the technology. In addition, it has transformed my ablity to get movies at a push of a button on a remote. I no longer have to sit at my desk and watch movies or go to Redbox on a weekend to get movies and remember to return them otherwise I will be charged a $1 a night, which always usually cost me about $3 once returned because of my busy schedule.

Bought the LG 60PK750 TV and the AN-WF100 wireless adaptor to watch netflix. Got it to run on an old linksys WEP protected router, but will not connect to a newer N router. Called LG support, worked with a tech who finally said I need to buy a new LG wireless adaptor. When I go back to the old router, I can connect, so the adaptor works, sort of. I would recommend waiting until LG gets their act together with wireless before buying, or you will just need to buy again. Not Recommended.

The LG AN-WF100 Wi-Fi USB Adaptor was a snap to use. I downloaded the enclosed Nero software to my computer & from there is was a plug & play. We have net flix & had run it thru the W-ii, but with the adaptor it works great straight off the TV. Nice feature to be able to view you photos from you computer on the bigger Hi Def TV screen. We have a 46" LD550 LG tv & the adaptor works great with it. Amazon had the best price around on the adaptor also, checked it against 2 other competitors & Amazon beat the others hands down. I'd rate it a keeper, 5 stars !

I purchased this to work with my LG LDC (42 LD550). I had a WiFi system set up already, which was with a router that works on the "G" protocol, so not the quickest. However, the set up with the TV was very straightforward--simply plugged it into the TV's USB port and followed the directions in the TV manaul (and displayed on the TV). All you really need is the Key or password to access your WiFi set up and you are in! I was pleasantly surprised that everything worked as advertised. With my "G" router I was able to stream NetFlix movies to my TV wirelessly with no delays, buffering, etc. Worked like a charm from my router to my TV, which is about 25-30 ft away, through two interior walls.My wife thinks I am a technical genius and who am I to tell her different? Best of all, the device costs almost 1/2 what it did at BB.

This adaptor could not have been easier to install and use, it was fool proof. It works perfectly and I have an older router that is on a different floor that the adaptor. I highly recommend it.

I love the Internet options on my LG TV that you get via this product. It was very easy to install and to thereafter connect to my home network and thereby the Internet. I love the Internet options, Netflix, Vudu, Picasa, etc., I get on my TV with this USB Wi-Fi adapter.

I use the AN-WF100 dongle with an LG 46LD550 tv. It just doesn't work very well. Rarely, turn the TV on and it will light up, and we can access the internet apps such as Netflix. More commonly, turn the TV, the dongle lights up to a dull blue, and we cannot access the internet apps. If I pull the dongle out and then put it back in several times, usually after a few minutes, then I can usually get it to work. Once on, it seems to pick up the signal well. This is a real problem.

The adapter is easy to setup, works fine, and can utilize either 5Ghz or 2.4Ghz.The TV needs to update and restart multiple times in order to use any of its apps, which although annoying isn't uncommon (how hard could it be to combine the updates?).Was able to effortlessly stream netflix HD to the TV.The adapter does not protrude from behind the TV. It has an obnoxious blue LED, but at least it doesn't remain on when the TV is powered off.I find it kind of silly that TV manufacturers can label a TV as Wi-Fi ready and not include an integrated Wi-Fi adapter, or at least package an adapter with the TV...

There really wasn't much to this. I have an unsecured network in my house so I just plugged this into the TV and it worked right away. It has worked well and consistently ever since. The TV is also one floor above the location of my wireless router and that still works fine.

Very Disappointed, keep your money, not worth purchasing...I may eat my words, if other apps could be added to the device.
