I ordered this dongle for my new LG Blu-ray player (most reviews seem to talk about LG tvs), to take advantage of the streaming & online content wirelessly. Connection is super simple and it works great - even upstairs and away from the wireless router. I did a little price hunting before buying, and this price was the lowest by far!

This item is what I needed to access the internet feature through the Netcast menu on my LG TV. It was as described and arrived in a timely fashion.

Great product however I have experienced some issues which I previously attributed to my wireless router but after swapping out routers I see this as the only possible issue. It seems the adapter has problems with streaming networked content. I have my LG 55" LED wirelessly linked to a 1 TB NAS via Nero Home Media on my desktop PC. When I stream content from the NAS, I typically experience network drops and limited utilization of the fast forward and rewind buttons. You can only go back at 4X the speed versus 8X when connecting the storage directly to the TV via USB. I am trying to avoid getting a HTPC to get around this issue. Also, even though this is in the same room as my D-Link wireless N router, my speeds are typically worse than what I get in the bedroom upstairs with my laptop. Lastly, VUDU and Netflix are tough and sometimes rendered unusable (constantly pausing to buffer); VUDU is even worse; I can only play movies in SD quality.However, when this works, it does so effortlessly. I am able to download movies from my laptop into the NAS that is connected to the desktop and streaming it with Nero to the TV, and when Netflix is working, it is super convenient.

Bought this little puppy hoping that I could stream Netflix to the TV in the bedroom. The wireless router is one room away in the office but this dongle will not pickup the WiFi signal. I use an iPad and laptops from the bedroom without any wireless issues. So as a test I moved the router into the hallway and it finally picked up. I'll be returning this over priced hunk of junk.

This came with my TV so the price was definitely right. I have had great luck with it. No problems what so ever it connects and easily and does a great job at joining my TV to my wireless home network. WiFi b/g/n is a real bonus! I love the fact that it is all three including n. It looks beautiful although u never see it plugged into the back of the TV. However with all lights out in the room u can see this beautiful blue glow on wall behind TV. Not an issue due to the fact that like i said the slightest light in the room and you cant really see it.

I got this for my cousin who recently switched from dial-up to broadband and wanted wireless in his house. He simply plugged this device into his TV and was on the network. There was nothing more to it than that!

Purchased to enable my LG 42" LCD tv to receive MLB through our wireless router. Purchased subscription for MLB but picture came in streaming too slow to watch or listen MLB. Inquired at LG website and was told to use a direct wired connection for better reception, leaving us with the LG usb device sitting on TV cabinet.

I received the unit quickly and couldn't wait to plug it in. It took a couple of minutes to set up, which the TV walked me through and it's been working without any trouble sense. I've had it for about 6 weeks now and there is probably only a hand full of days that someone has not used it. LG should simply put it in the TV to begin with! I would definitely recommend it, especially for those who hate all the cords.

Plug it in to the back of your TV and voila! It works with no installation or messing around. If you have a secure wireless network, you'll need your password and that setup was a little annoying on my TV, but that has to do with the TV, not the wireless adapter.

The setup and installation of this device is very easy and now allows my LG TV to do all kinds of stuff online.The price even at Amazon is a bit excessive for just a wireless USB dongle.

I purchased this from Amazon.com along with my LG Infinia 47LE8500 TV and it works perfect. It was so simple to set up. Just plug it into the usb port in the back of the TV, let it find your router connection and enter your password. You're ready to go, only took a few minutes. NO dropped connections at all and my router is two rooms away from the TV. My husband absolutely loves the Tv and the fact that he can now watch all the movies he wants on Netflix. It's perfect! So is our TV. Purchased all of it right after Christmas.

The LG dongle is not a very good solution because the dongle sits in the BACK which limits its range. This should retail for no more than $40.You can use any $30 wifi router to do the same thing, with the added bonus of allowing the router to be more exposed for better range. I had purchased an external USB device initially thinking that would work with our new TV. That not working, we ordered this product in hopes that it would be an easy plug and play device. It was, still is and is very reliable. Speed is fine for all video over wireless. Extremely easy to implement as well.

You literally just put it in your t.v., put your wi-fi password in and you're done.It works really well with no problems.My wireless router is in the same room (30 ft. from the t.v.) so that helps, i.e. no walls in the way. It's also a good router from Cisco.

I bought this item for easy wireless sharing my videos and photos. But I couldn't understand how dlna works. Can I make a direct connection between lg-tv (42ld751) and my dlna phone (samsung wave) without using wireless access point? It is necessary to set IP adress manually. But system didn't accept numbres which I entered to. There is a "ad hoc connection" choice on tv network menu. How can I make a direct connection between TV and Phone (dlna).Is there anyone knows answer this question?

The LAN connector worked great! I have a Comcast modem, and a Netgear router, located one room away from the LG tv with the new LAN connector. As soon as I put the connector into the USB slot on the tv, and pushed the Netcast button on the tv remote, it updated the netcast software, and connected itself to the internet.

This adaptor was very easy to install wirelessly, I just plugged it in to the USB port on the side of the TV. I had some difficulty figuring out how to get the alphabet key to come up when I was trying to follow the onscreen commands for the setup, but I think that was more of an issue with my TV as opposed to the adaptor itself. I love that there are no wires and the connection is pretty strong, even when our wireless router is located downstairs and I use the adaptor on our TV upstairs. Rarely I have gotten a few "buffering" messages while watching a Netflix movie, but for the majority of the time, this is just like watching movies via DVD without having to wait for it to arrive in the mail! The only downside to getting this product is that now I am glued to the TV every night!! LOL!!I highly recommend this product!

WORKS AND CONNECT TO YOUR WIRELESS NETWORK, BUT THE CAPABILITIES THAT PROVIDES YOU CAN FIND IT IN SOME DEVICES LIKE BLURAYS WITH WIRELESS CONNECTION.... IF I KNEW THIS BEFORE, IN FACT NEVER BEEN PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT.YOU CAN CONNECT AND SEE YOU TUBE, AND OTHERS THINGS LIKE NEWS, FACEBOOK. AND OTHERS WIDGETS THTA HAVE ENABLED IN YOUT TV. NO WORKS FOR NAVIGATE , OBVIUSLY BECAUSE THE TV DONT HAVE IT.

This enabled me to easily connect my LG LED wirelessly to my home network. The initial connection was simple. After more than 8 months, I have had no trouble and no dropped signals. The only concern is that my laptop runs slower when I am streaming a movie through the tv. Otherwise, no problems at all.

The LG AN-WF100 Wi-Fi USB Adaptor is a primitive attempt at bringing Web based functions to LG TV's. The Wi-Fi Adaptor is unique to the LG line of TV's and is not compatible with all routers based on the 802.11 N specifications. Our 46LD550 TV would not connect properly to our router while all of our other Wi-Fi devices had no problem connecting what so ever. Further more, the LG support people could not even interpret their own error messages that were presented on the TV screen. It didn't take long to determine that it was a waste of time trying to get any rational assistance from LG support. If you get the system to work you will find that the process of inputing data into the TV with the TV's Remote is incredibility primitive, aggravating, and time consuming. This alone would be a deal breaker for us.We purchased an LG 46LD550 TV and have been very satisfied with the TV after a months use.
