Delivery was fine-product works as expected- this seems to be all that one can reasonably ask for so the 5 star rating is justified-I would recommend this product and vendor

I am less than 20 feet away from the router and sometimes the wireless internet would stop working. My laptop would show a strong signal, but webpages just won't load. Computers connected directly via ethernet has no issues. This was encountered with both a Lenovo Thinkpad T420 with Intel 6205 and HP Pavilion DV4. Don't know what the issue is, but it looks like D-link is no longer making reliable routers.

I had problem installing this router. Called their 800 number 4 times. Three times got somebody's answering machine with the message "Please leave your phone # and we will call you back." And once got a guy from India who said that my call was transferred to him by mistake and I should call again.The set up wizard didn't start and I don't how to make it to start. The lights are blinking, so the hardware seems to be working.The instructions are very generic. There is no help there.Not a good experience!

Thank God I found the router which gives me wifi signals in my 2-bedroom apartment everywhere. Though not explored all the features but getting wifi signals was very important to me and my family which we are getting without any interruptions though it is placed in very end corner of the apartment, hence, it works!!

the range of this unit is significant better than the 615 and works better with our ipad 2There is absolutly no prodlems using this unit with our laptop

The D-Link DIR-605L wireless N300 router met all of my expectations and performs great. The only complaint I might have was with the set-up process on my computer. There was little to no instructions that came with the unit and I had to "fumble" my way through the set up process, including assigning the security information. It wasn't quite the plug and play process that I had expected. But after the set up process was completed, the router has performed as expected.

The price/performance ratio on this product is fantastic. It is a powerful little router that gets a solid signal through most of my house. I have one spot in my house that is hard to reach (it is a far room from the router and a bit of a dead zone due to wall configurations). With my old router I needed a repeater part way through the house to get a reliable signal to that room. This router gets a 'fair' strength signal to that room all on its own and the signal appears to be quite stable. Very impressed to have this one router doing the job of my old router/repeater combo at higher speeds for a low price. Great product.

Can't complain at all. Have had it up and running for more than a week now. The most difficult part was disconnecting my old router with the tangled wires and resetting my devices to the new network. Took me a bit more than half an hour for everything.Excellent download speed on all devices, which is more than I can say for my old Netgear router.

I can't fully review this router because I still haven't set it up. Says its not connected to the Internet...UPDATE: after a phone call to customer service they guided me through the set-up, now the router works well. Cool app on iphone lets me know what devices are on my network.

Bought it to replace my old router which died. After reading all the reviews on Amazon, I thought it'd be a pretty great pick up. Turns out I'm wrong. It can't handle 2 simultaneous connections. You *cannot* use this for gaming. It absolutely cannot maintain a stable ping. Luckily I revived my old router, because this one just doesn't cut it. I'm going to see if a firmware update will fix it, otherwise I'm returning it.I'm pretty dissatisfied. It doesn't help that I had pretty high hopes for the damn thing.

wasnt sure just how well it would work but for my first cloud router it is great love the ability to access it online and via apps... cant wait to hook up some cloud web cams and see how they fair

It works perfect in my studio. But I couldn't set it up, I tried everything I could, googled a lot but still doesn't work. I have to call the customer service to finally set it up.

Love D-Link! This is my 2nd router. Old (& I do mean old) D-Link died & purchased a Belkin because I needed wifi same day. After 3 hours of trying to link droids/laptop/etc to that router it went back to store. Received this next day. Hookup/linking took all of 3 minutes. D-Link always simple. Has excellent coverage in 3200 sq ft house. Signal still strong outside.

Works as advertised. However I was expecting more range with the N router and this unit did not deliver. The range is about the same as the previous router I had which was a G router. So if you're not in need of extended range this router works right out of the box and is easy to set up.

At first I loved this router. It was easy to set up and had a solid signal all around the house. Then one day, it died and I already had tossed the packaging so I'm stuck with it. I'll never by D-Link again. Only Netgear or Cisco from now on.

After three sessions and 8 hours with a DLink tech, I finally gave up. I have hired a wireless tech to get it working. The meager installation instructs that come packaged with the router are laughably inadequate. Then, if one tries to use the online manual, its length and complexity are also daunting.

Can't seem to locate it on my computer and have problems trying to hook up my wi-fi Blue Ray and Tv into the system. Had better service with Linsky.

seems to work good after we got it hooked up finally, but I have three computers tied to it. Two had to be cabled since it would not recognize the wireless on those two. One computer is hooked up wireless.

So Far so good! Really like how compact and lite the router is!Not sure really the use of the D-link cloud?I guess time will tell how long it works.Using right know in 1400 square foot home and I have had good signal throughout the house.The powe brick is really small and does work on all power grids:) I wish they would list this spec more often.Cheers

Just as the reviews say, HORRIBLE PRODUCTIt's almost impossible to install. As a matter of fact we couldn't get it to install at all. I returned it to amazon. I spent a few extra dollars and purchased the LINKSYS WIRELESS G- WRT54GL, NO PROBLEMS!

I researched this router on C-Net before buying...I have to say, it was fairly easy to set up, and it's a few months later: so far, so good. It gets excellent reach in the kitchen, with the router being placed in the bedroom of my one-story, but fairly spacious apartment. If I have any problems with it, I'll come back and amend the review. Also, please keep in mind that the relatively large duel-antenna footprint is not an issue for me, and I have no use (yet) for the "cloud" function, but the C-Net reviewer seemed impressed with it.

I recently moved "up" to an i-phone 5 and became interested in having wireless internet access in my home. After a little research I came up withj this unit to be one of the best bargains available. I ordered one and must say that I am very pleased with it. Recommended.

This product arrived within the time specified and took about 5 minutes to set it up and have it working. No hassles at all. I have two wireless computers working off of it plus the main computer where the cable comes in. Highly recommended.

I've been using this router for about a month now with no issues at all, it just works. It was purchased primarliy as a wifi router for my smart phone and has performed reliably so far. While I'm not sure what it would take to give it 5 stars instead of 4, I'll only give it 4. No complaints and it was very easy to set up.
