I ordered this to replace the 1 GB I have in my notebook. It was exactly what I ordered and it worked. Not much more to say.

Everything worked great, removed the battery and the old memory. Installed new mem and replaced the battery, and it booted and recognized the 2GB memory. This was on a Compaq 102 mini netbook running Win XP SP3. The system runs and benchmarks much better. I also searched for other optimization for the netbook and changed several processes to not load automatically. Netbooks need all its resources for real programs, not indexing files and many other things. You have to watch for any new installation, because many of them start in auto mode and hog the very limited resources. Thanks for the great product AND it got here in 2 days thanks to Prime.

I popped out the old one, and popped in the new one and the motherboard recognized it right away and increased the ram speed a good bit.

This was an upgrade for my 2 year old Acer Aspire One (NAV50). The computer was starting to run slow and taking forever to load web pages that had any sort of flash ads, and Youtube..forget about it, videos would stop, start, pause, no sound, etc and I was considering just buying a new computer. I decided to try this relatively inexpensive upgrade and wow does it make a difference. Computer runs like new, it powers on in about 1/3 the time and it loads web pages almost as fast as my work computer. Youtube videos play on command with virtually no buffer time. Well worth the money. As for install, super easy. There is only one screw on the back of the computer and the old card pops out with the simple release mechanism, new card pressed in, pushed down with a snap and BOOM, DONE! Card was recognized instantly. Crucial has a card scanner program on their website that takes 30 seconds to determine the compatibility if you arent sure. Highly recommended upgrade.

Ram did not work in the Toshiba laptop like it said it would. Make sure you double check that this will work for your computer.

Great price for the memory stick, if only it worked. I wanted to up grade the RAM in my Acer netbook 532h and was recommended this product by the Crucial website. Thanks to Prime shipping it came quickly, but my system did not recongise it. The computer powered on but locked up before it even got to the splash screen. I replaced the RAM with the original 1gig stick and the computer booted up just fine. Crucial makes good hardware, but their quallity assurance is lacking. I have since returned this and gotten a 2gig Samsung stick which is working flawlessly. Samsung is quite dependable as they make everything in house.

Absolutely awesome. the GB i bought fit perfectly and perform perfectly as well. Running Windows Vista demands lots of memory and my laptop had a factory installed 1 GB, too little. You will not be disappointed if you bought this and definitely see the difference.

I bought this to update the RAM in my Fujitsu Stylistic 5112. I found it worked fine next to the existing 1Gb chip bringing total memory up to 3Gb. The computer is quicker and more responsive now. I'm running Linux Mint.

Memory arrived in excellent condition and is working great. All motherboards have a model/serial number that can be researched on the internet to determine what type of upgrades can be done that are compatible. Just take the time and do the research prior to purchasing. You can save money and time by doing the upgrades yourself.

My dell used to have 512MB in one slot. Now it has 2.5G. The installation is easy. There are two small screws on the back of Dell. Power on, it display a scary message like "The amount of memory changes. Please reseat it if you did not change memory" and doesn't say if you can proceed. Just wait a few minutes it will proceed. Only the 1st time power on will be so. Dell claims that it will only support 1GB per slot and sure 2GB per slot is OK. It will save $5 to have 2.5GB while cost $33 to buy 2x1GB kit to have total 2GB.I used to hear the disk spinning due to swap afteropen 6 or 8 browser tabs. Now I open more than ten tabs and watch espn 3 video, the system memory usage is about 600MB and swap usage is 0 with my Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. In another word, It could be good enough for me to buy just 1GB to make 1.5GB. Anyway the performance improvement is huge. I am very happy.
