I actually needed memory for a desktop, but Green Tech was an awesome company to work with. They called me in two minutes after posting my request for help, diagnosed the problem in less then a minute. My new memory is now installed and has made a world of difference! Thanks John at Green Tech!

Great product! Easy to install and computer is much faster. Added an additional GB for a total of 2 GB of memory. It's really night and day on speed and applications that can be open.

I purchased this 2GB DDR2 SODIMM for an aging macbook that needed a little extra help. I have used Crucial before (both their desktop and laptop RAM modules) and have always appreciated their reliable quality and excellent customer support. This time was no different!I would highly recommend sticking to the larger name brands for RAM - it is notoriously volatile when QC is an issue, and brands like Crucial and Kingston are definitely the way to go! This is only going to get more expensive as it is no longer being produced, so the time to buy is now! Don't believe me? Take a look at what 1GB of DDR costs these days!

Purchased this for my 1000HE. Installation was a breeze, though I did have to enter the BIOS for the netbook to recognize the 2GB stick.Startup and shutdown seem to be faster and programs seem to open slightly faster. Not necessarily the huge improvement I was hoping to see, but anything is an improvement with a netbook!Will look into upgrading the HDD to a SSD in the near future and would definitely consider a Crucial brand SSD.

This purchase is for my Acer AO532h-2223 netbook computer. It has 1GB system memory only and it's getting slower and slower. Adding additional system memory is probably the most easiest way to speed up an old PC system. The installation is pretty straight forwards. The Acer netbook has only one slot for system memory. So, I just take out the existing 1GB ram module and plug in the 2GB ram module. With 2GB system memory, I do feel the application opens faster (I don't bother to time the speed difference.). The most important difference is: it does not hang for long time when more than 2 applications are active.After some web search, Amazon has the best price. I am happy.

I ordered the crucial 2gb set for my macbook, and I was sent the wrong brand. Although, the product was equivalent it was not what I ordered. I was sent Samsung an inferior product.

I was about to crash my computer against the wall, but instead, I started doing some research about computer speed online and ended up ordering this piece of heaven... My laptop (HP dv6306rs with Windows Vista Basic Service Pack 2) was constantly showing up "Not responding" messages. I was very upset because I use my laptop for all my work regarding college and it was very annoying when I was writing in Microsoft Word and it suddenly stopped responding. Also my browsers (Firefox and Internet Explorer) were running horribly slow. I previously had 1gb of memory installed on it. Installing the new module was pretty easy. Just make sure you handle it by the edges to prevent damage. Now my computer works like a charm and I don't get freezzy screens anymore. My browsers work great as well and I can run multiple programs at the same time with no issues at all. The shutdown and sleeping options now operate dramatically faster as well as the start up process. Although my computer specifications say it runs memory modules at 667mhz/PC 5300, this 800mhz/PC6400 piece works perfectly, so you don't have to worry if you are not sure about what speed is required by your PC. It won't damage your PC because the system will automatically select the partition of the speed that is necessary to run correctly. Nevertheless, you do have to make sure your laptop uses DDR2 memory before buying because it won't work with DDR3,4,5 etc...That's all I can say for now. If you are having problems with your computer's speed, consider upgrading your memory modules. Crucial is a reliable brand so far so don't be afraid to make the change, and it works! I highly recommend this magic product because it has saved me lots of time and patience. Have a great day and good luck!

The memory is just fine; problem is, the seller sent me the wrong memory type. I have since purchased the correct memory elsewhere. I have, however, kept the memory shipped to me; I'll use it I'm sure as I repair/upgrade computers.

Added this to my somewhat aging laptop and was a breeze to install, if you are used to installing memory. If you know how to insert something into a slot at a slight angle you'll know how to put this one in. Computer speed noticeably faster when running apps but haven't measured. No need to measure, I'm pretty confident of the, uh, speed. Didn't care about reading all the numbers in the description, gives me a headache. Just the pins and SODIMM and I'm set. You can tell they hired a few engineers on their marketing team. Memory should just be as easy to buy as clothing S M L. Crucial has been around for so long and makes so many of these that buying more memory is like getting a frappucino. Just make sure it works for your appliance. Good job Crucial and thanks to all of your manufacturers here, Singapore, and China.

I have two Acer Aspire One computers. one is model D150 the others model is no more readable. I ordered one 2GB memory stick and tested in both models. It worked in both. Just order 2nd memory for the other computer.

I received the Ram memory very quickly and installed it in my Asus eee pc 1005HAB. After turning the unit on, it would not recognize the upgrade. Searching the web, I found out that this is not uncommon for the 1005HAB. The search suggested that I power up the unit and keep tapping F2 until the BIOS screen appears. The Bios screen then automatically recognized and updated it! I then exited the Bios screen and the unit now registers with the 2 Gigs of Ram through the Windows Task Manager, Performance tab. Wonderful!
