I have a MacBook Pro 15" 2.16 GHz Core 2 Duo from late 2006. After updating my operating system, my computer slowed down quite a bit. Took it in to the Genius Bar and they suggested that I add some memory to it, and specifically suggested the Crucial brand. So for under $30, I went from 1GB of RAM to 3GB of RAM. Installing it was easy - after I located a #00 screwdriver to remove the casing, I popped this sucker in, booted up, and was all set. Computer is flying now!

I have a 2007 MacBook Pro (15-inch Core 2 Duo) that had been running on 1 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM for the last 4 years. I started looking into upgrading the memory for two reasons...the first was to install Mac OS X Lion (installation / operation requires a minimum of 2 GB) and the second reason was to improve performance (e.g. speed) when running multiple programs. After a lot of research I found that Crucial brand memory is well-known and a commonly used alternative (waaaay chepaer but still effective) to the brand(s) that are sold at the apple store. Installation was incredibly easy (instructions are available from the apple support site) and the impact was almost immediate...programs open faster and nothing freezes if I'm running multiple programs (plus I was able to finally install Mac OS X Lion, which is awesome).

In September 2011 a friend of mine was given a laptop for free and wanted me to speed it up for her. So I cleaned up the registry, defragged, etc (you know the stuff you do). I told her adding ram would help speed up the laptop a lot. so she agreed and i found this 2GB pack of ram (yes the Crucial 2GB). She liked the price so I ordered them for her, had then in 5 days. Installed both sticks, everything worked, its shows 2GB of ram installed AND no problems. So they worked perfectly great product.Lets stop bad reviews for shipping problems and other factors that have nothing to do with the product at all (on all amazon items)! If you have shipping problems or customer service problems please go to the company's amazon page and give them a bad review. As an Amazon buyer I would like to know what companies to stay away from. Thanks

It is installed in my Lenovo laptop and the laptop now has some improvement in system responsiveness and the software runs much fluent on the laptop.

I thought my N150 was a real piece of crap. I removed all the prepackaged crap software, cleaned up my startup programs, yet it still ran like crap. Web browsing was so painful...could barely get youtube to open.Now...web browsing is still painful...but not as much. I can actually view youtube videos and stream netflix and have a couple other windows open too. I think this is as much as I can expect from this netbook, and I am pretty happy with its performance.

Some reviewers on Amazon are saying that the Toshiba NB500/NB505 netbooks need DDR2 memory, while others claim that only DDR3 works. Actually the correct answer depends on what type of machine you have.Here's how to tell what kind of memory you need for your Toshiba. Flip the netbook over and locate the gray part number label on bottom of machine (you can't miss it--it's got a couple of bar codes on it). Look at the upper right hand corner of the label. If there is a "D3" printed there, you have DDR3 memory installed in your machine, and you shouldn't be buying the Crucial Technology chip here. I personally prefer Kingston as a manufacturer, and the chip you are looking for from them is the KTT1066D3S/2G. (There are other manufacturers too, of course, and if you look for their products, what you want is DDR3 1066MHz 204 pin.)The Toshiba part number for the DDR3 2GB chip is PA3856U-1M2G.If, on the other hand, that gray part number label has nothing written in the upper right hand corner, then DDR2 memory is installed on your machine, and you want to buy Kingston KTT800D2/2G. (You want DDR2 800MHz 204 pin, if you look at other chip makers.)The Toshiba part number for the DDR2 2GB chip is PA3669U-1M2G.Hope this helps others!

Installed this in my Asus Eee netbook to upgrade the 1 GB of stock RAM. Works great and makes a noticeable difference in performance under Windows 7. Took all of about 2 minutes to swap the modules.

well i bought this along with a battery to well upgrade my computer because well it had the one gig and well it was a little slow even after the windows updates.... It was simple to take and replace the old card turned on the computer and instantly recognized the new memory.It was worth the 2o something dollars i paid plus it was shipped for free.... the difference that it made was that word documents load up with out the hour glass showing up and i can even open up videos and they play instantly as well i can even do both at the same time with a few internet pages and skype on it works really well before it would freeze and crash and now it doesnt im happy with the product plus its inexpensive :)

simple memory swap. installation took less than 5 minutes.no need to change setting in bios and works great.please keep in mind, if you have samsung netbook, you are replacing the memory, not adding it since there is only 1 memory slot.

OK wow! first of all the shipping was blazing fast and it was extremely easy to install in to my system,when i finished installing it,i turned on my Netbook and it is now runing tremendously fast, now i am thinking about upgrading from windows 7 starter to windows 7 ultimate and dual booting windows 8 into my system, every thing is perfect, i highly recommend buying this product for your compatible laptop,Notebook or Netbook.

I bought this to upgrade my Acer Aspire One Netbook (532h) from one gig of memory. I use this computer for Microsoft office and online browsing, and I noticed it locked up with less memory.This item came two days after I bought it, which is incredible. I installed it easily (Opened the panel, removed the clamps/previous memory, installed the new memory) and I have noticed a huge increase in my download speeds. I am very happy with this.

The price was right for this DDR2 ram for my XPS 400 desktop. Installation takes 30 seconds. No problems. Computer is faster now.

This 2gb ram has made my boot faster on my netbook. I think that surfing the web has become a little faster too. It was easy to insert in the memory slot. I recommend this to anyone with a netbook or notebook with too little memory.

It works at the beginning. Then it start to on & off automatically. I upgrade my driver and re-install my memory. Works for a while and then start to off again. Remove it and not worth the money.

I don't know that you can have much of an opinion on laptop RAM, to me it either works or doesn't work. Anyhow, I installed this in my laptop that came with 2GB to make it 4 GB. It was immediately recognized and just like that I've got double the RAM. If you go to Crucial's website they have a tool that you can download to figure out exactly which RAM is compatible with your machine. Perfect! (I have a Compaq Presario laptop, and this also fits my older Acer Aspire laptop)

Ordered this memory module to upgrade the mini laptop I purchased for my son as Christmas gift. I thought I ordered the right part by comparing with the compatible module description at Crucial website. Unfortunately this does not work with my model. Disappointing in that I will need to order it again from Crucial website. If you are looking at this module for HP Mini 210-3050, don't make my mistake. I am sure this is a good product, just not the right one for me.
