Used in my Latitude E6500, added two 2gb units for 4gb total (registers 3.5gb in Win 7 32-bit). Works perfectly, as with all Crucial memory units I've used over the years. No reason to choose any other brand.

Edit March 2010:Look Ma, no screws! For some reason Crucial isn't showing the recommended memory for the HP Mini 210 netbooks yet. Their program will recognize that I have a 210, but it acts as if it doesn't know what that would require. I used the Microsoft Windows 7 Anytime Upgrade on my HP Mini 210 HD Netbook. So I did some research and first I tried to upgrade to Crucial CT51264AC800 4GB 200-pin SODIMM DDR2 PC2-6400 Memory Module knowing that the Mini would only recognize about 3GB but thinking that would still be good. The computer didn't recognize it at all. It wouldn't turn back on with the 4GB RAM inserted. I'm guessing my CPU speed of 1.66 GHz is too low or maybe the fact that I'm 32bit and not 64? I'm just kinda self-taught and wingin' it, so... So I paid return shipping since it wasn't Amazon's fault and tried again, this time with this item, Crucial Technology CT25664AC800 2GB 200-pin SODIMM DDR2 PC2-6400 Memory Module, the same one I used on my HP Mini 110-1030NR Netbook (instructions below) and it works beautifully.The HP Mini 210 is designed with no vents in the bottom, so now that I've purchased a smaller set of screwdrivers, I don't need them. You simply power off the computer, remove the battery, and push in the two little orange buttons you'll see revealed under the battery area. Apply a little pressure and pop off the bottom piece first on one side and then the other, making sure you've pushed the orange buttons in first. Then you can carefully pop off the remainder until the entire single piece is removed from the bottom of the computer. I was a little worried about this since it's plastic but it's a very strong plastic and I've removed it four times now with no sign of stress. Push out the retaining tabs on either side of the memory module, and it'll sort of pop up. Lift it out, and put your new memory in the same way. Push it down flat, making sure the two tabs snap back into place. When you put the bottom piece back on the computer, make sure you work backwards from the last point forward. You want to line up the entire edge opposite the battery side, make sure those tabs are in, then work your way forward to end with the last pieces around the battery area. I didn't do this the first time and couldn't get all the tabs to fit.____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Original review September 2009:I have never had a problem with Crucial memory, and you can't beat the price for the quality. It was quite simple to replace the 1GB of RAM that came with my HP Mini 110-1030NR Netbook with this 2GB module... even if you feel like you have absolutely NO idea about computer hardware, you CAN do this. It couldn't be simpler. For a notebook/netbook, power everything down, unplug anything external, and remove the battery. Then remove the panel that covers the RAM (with my HP Mini I only needed a #0 Phillips screwdriver) push out the two clips that are holding in the current module, and it just pops right out! Put the new one in exactly the same way, screw the panel back on, and you're off and running. I do recommend using an anti-static wrist strap, such as the Belkin Anti-Static Wrist Band with Adjustable Grounding, just to be safe.After you've powered everything back up again, right-click on your "My Computer" or "Computer" icon (on the Start Menu if you're running Windows), and click on Properties. You should now be able to see and confirm your RAM upgrade.For those of you wondering if a certain memory module will work with your computer, just go to Crucial's web site, let it detect your computer or type in the computer model that you're hoping to upgrade, and their system will tell you exactly what RAM modules and sizes will be compatible with your computer. Then you can price it out and end up buying it on Amazon :)

I got an old computer with an old processor AMD Turion 1.9 GHz. The additional memory really did not make my computer much faster but I can see imporvements in other areas.Can't complaint about the product since the processor is old. but it was worth the try.

When it comes to something like memory, what more can you say? It works as it should, no problems, no errors, timing is where it should be. All you can do is give it a thumbs up if it does all it says it will, or a thumbs down if it causes problems. Overclocking is another issue, and one that doesn't belong in a review for memory that performs at the speed it says it will, unless you find that your memory is capable of higher than stated speeds and want to let others know that. But I'm not overclocking, so this is moot. This memory had no problems, good price, did what it said it would, and I'm happy, so five stars. But what do you expect from Crucial?

It's a cheap upgrade for an old netbook. Of course, the old netbook's processor and video are so slow that it's almost not worth using anymore, but memory is so cheap, why not?

This memory is for a laptop computer and will NOT fit a desktop computer. I could not tell that from the product description so I had to return it. Be aware that ordering mistakes of this sort must be returned immediately.

I went from 2 gb of pc 5300 ram to 4 gb of pc 6400. Boot up was 2 x faster when going to this ram. It made my compaq presis ramario F 700 run like a new machine. It went fron 5.2 rating to 5.7 I would recomend this ram to anybody. It came a day early and took about 2 minutes to install, Top Notch

Had this notebook for some time now and couldn't even use it because of its slowness. Bought this memory and put it in very easily and now it is actually usable again. Still has some slowness but nothing like before.

I purchased this product to double the RAM in my mom's aging Samsung NC10 netbook. This particular netbook model can only recognize and address a maximum of 2GB of RAM, so this was the best option for an upgrade.It went in with no problem and worked flawlessly. Though this machine is quite old now, the extra RAM has significantly reduced the amount of lag encountered when doing simple tasks like browsing the web. I found that, with Windows 7 and a handful of Chrome tabs open, the system's RAM consumption typically hovers around 1.1-1.2GB. Before, this would have meant constantly reading and writing the much-slower pagefile on the hard drive when there was insufficient physical RAM. With 2GB of physical RAM, this is no longer an issue.

There is not much to say, the item shipped quickly, was shipped accurately which was appreciated. It was easy to install (about 5 minutes most of which was opening the plastic enclosure) and works fine.

I bought this RAM for my Acer R1600 Desktop (Nettop) Computer, to increase its ram to 3GB (Had only 1GB). Installation was easy and the computer now seems like a new computer. I have bought RAM from this company before through Amazon and one of the RAM sticks died after 40 days of use. However, I returned the RAM and received a replacement quickly. That has been about two years ago and the RAM has been preforming normal with no problems, so I know that Crucial has great customer service. Their site even helps ensure me that I get the right RAM for my computer. I decided to buy the RAM on Amazon based on two factors:1. The price on Amazon was a lot cheaper (About half the price).2. I have two-day free shipping (Thanks to Amazon Prime).

Popped it in the Mini 1012 and it works like a charm. System is peppier, programs open more readily and smoother then before. High definition video plays smoother and with no noticeable hiccups as before. Hi def vids used to start with some stutters the first few seconds. Now it's smooth sailing start to finish.Easiest and best upgrade for our lowly powered netbooks. I have always found adding RAM to a machine with barely enough to run the OS and a few programs simultaneously to be most beneficial to overall performance. Upgrading my Windows 7 Home Premium based netbook from 1 gig to 2 gigs sounds like double the RAM, but it's actually three times the RAM I had as before, as my machine uses 500mb just to sit idle. That left me with 500 mb's to run apps, and what not. I now have 1500 mb's to run apps. Big diff...You need this upgrade! Took ten minutes from start to finish, and I have never opened up a laptop before. Easy peasy.

RAM is becoming more and more a commodity, and machine-specificity seems to be going away. This RAM set was purchased to double the capacity of my son's MacBook, and even though it says nothing about being Mac-tested or Mac-approved, it works like a charm. No problems, no worries, excellent price. At the same time, I purchased a similar 4GB upgrade for my iMac from the same Crucial name brand, and it's the same; half the price of "Mac-approved" ram, flawless performance.I've had enormous problems with Lexar camera memory cards, but the Crucial subsidiary of Lexar seems to be making superb products.

Crucial's website stated that this was the correct memory for my Asus T91-MT. For a couple days, it worked. Then it started to jumble my screen at what seemed to be random moments or when I plugged in my AC cord. This happened around every thirty minutes or so, which is a lot seeing how much I use this netbook.So I asked for a replacement, it came pretty quickly in the mail. It also did the more of the same a bit quickly, and I once again had to reboot my computer. I'll be returning this one for good, it isn't worth the money. They are obviously not meant for my computer (which doesn't make sense, as it fits perfectly and speeds it up) or Amazon is currently selling a bad batch. I'd suggest buying them from a different supplier or an altogether different company.

I used their Memory configurator which is spot on. I followed a youtube video to install and it worked like a champ. I don't mind spending a few extra $$$ for an item that does what it's suppose to. If I save $10 but waste 1 hour troubleshooting it's NOT WORTH it. Samsung and Kingston make great memory as well.

When i opened the package, in a crucial package, it had two brand label/stickers.One side had crucial with the correct part #.the other side had Hynix/Korea 05 2GB 2Rx8 PC2-6400S-666-12 HYMP125S64CP8-S6 AB-CThe laptop did recognize the ram though, so i will use it for the time being.I gave it 5 stars, since dell put Hynix in it from the factory, so it should be a good brand.

I bought this memory chip for a netbook. Asus 1005ha to be specific. It did improve my computer speed, but not as noticeable as I hoped. The problem with netbooks is that the cpu is underpowered so upgrading the ram didn't do much for me. Previously with 1gb, I did run into problems with my computer freezing for a few minutes when I had too many applications running, but I don't have that problem anymore after the upgraded to 2gb. If you have windows 7 installed, i would recommend the upgrade, but if you're still running windows xp, forget about it.

Had to send this one back, it was found outside in the sun by the Fed Ex guy, super smart. Not sure if that was what did it in but i installed it and got blackness, bad Ram. Sent it back and got 4GB instead from different product line.
