I waited two years before finally updating my HP Mini 210's RAM. Literally, dropping in this module took 30 seconds, and it was recognized properly. You just can't go wrong with Crucial memory.

I have an Acer 4520 laptop.. Dual Core 2.4Ghz.. Running Windows 7 Ultimate..This Memory fit right in.. no problems at all... Works great...I had only 1 Gig of RAM in it at first (two 512MB chips.. laptop only has two RAM slots).. then i bought one of these.. so i went up to 2.5GB of RAM.. i noticed a difference right away in the laptop speed and performance...i was SO happy with the memory, i just bought ANOTHER 2GB RAM chip, so no i have 4GB in my laptop and the difference from 2.5GB to 4GB was even MORE noticeable..the speed and performance increased dramatically.. and im so very completely happy with it..All my programs open super quickly.. everything is like idk 5x or 10x faster than it used to be.. even the defrag on windows finishes faster than it used to..GREAT RAM... for a GREAT PRICE.. and i would absolutely buy more if i had the room..!! lol..

This review is for 2GB (2x 1GB sticks) of Crucial 200-Pin DDR2 SODIMM (PC2 5300 / DDR2-667) dual channel laptop memory. The memory was installed and utilized in a Dell Inspiron E1505 laptop (Core Duo T2500) that was purchased new in May, 2006, and uses Microsoft Windows Media Center Edition (XP SP-3) as the main operating system. The part number on this RAM does not match the part number returned by the Crucial memory checker but this is a Crucial product. I think Crucial needs to fix their reference.The installation was easy and took less than 5 minutes due to the easy access to the slots. Be sure to remove the battery before starting. I used an anti-static mat and wrist strap to minimize static electricity. The new stick goes in at a steep angle, get pushed in, then pushed down and the little hold-down arms automatically close over it. If the little arms don't both click over the stick horizontally, start over, because the memory stick is not all the way in.Performance-wise, I did not notice any differences in boot-up or loading of applications using the Crucial 2 GB of RAM over the original 2GB of RAM. I installed this new RAM because of frequent memory parity errors crashing my computer.

i bought two of these four years ago for my macook 2.0 ghz and they worked great. Recently I was running some big crashing/freezing issues so I tried using memtest86 and it found the memory to be defective. I'm not concerned by the failure, it is expected after a while, and there were zero compatability problems with my Macbook. i would reccomend this memory, it served me well, and is priced reasonably well enough.

This worked just as requested. This was replacing memory and not exact specs, but it worked as suggested from memory selector.

Does the job, and my Asus 1005HA netbook works a lot better now. I would but Crucial memory on nearly any product I own.

I am generally skeptical about buying third party memory, but after reading others' positive reviews I thought I'd give this a try. The memory module came in nice packaging and was very easy to install in my Dell Inspiron 1012 mini netbook. Swapping the memory modules took 5-10 minutes (it installs under the keyboard, no need to take the entire system apart) and when I powered up it booted right into Windows with no issues. A check of memory capacity indicated the full 2Gb.The performance difference was definitely noticeable. Keep in mind this is a netbook so no powerhouse to begin with but I felt my money was well spent. I didn't run any specific tests but I did run Netflix via Firefox (which was unwatchable before) and it run MUCH more smoothly. A few small pauses every once in awhile, but definitely not a bother for me. Boot up is faster and starting and closing applications is also noticeably faster. If you're considering upgrading your Dell mini I would try this memory and save yourself quite a bit of money over the Dell specified module.

Showed up in 2 days w/Prime. Took longer to shut down computer, than it did to install the 2 cards ! They showed up on the 1st boot, and my wife can play her games w/o any lag time now. Recommend.

Most netbooks come with a mere 1Gb of RAM and can only be upgraded to 2Gb via their single memory slot. This RAM provides a simple upgrade solution for netbooks or notebooks needing extra memory.

I bought this to add the maximum 2Gigs RAM to my 2007 Macbook. It worked well, is still working a year or so since I installed it, and it was very easy to install.

It's ram, plugged it in and works fine. Crucial has always done right by me with warranty claims if I ever need it. Unless your a serious performance hound really any RAM backed by a good name will do. This RAM worked fine in my Dell latitude E1505

Works great! THANKS! Really sped up my speed and I was able to install SL! As long as you double check to make sure this will work with your specific Macbook, this is a really great buy. I already bought one but I'm going to purchase a second one!

Unfortunately, there's not much to say about this product, other than it is a great, well-priced solution for netbook owners.I purchased this RAM specifically for my HP Mini 110, but I believe it fits a variety of netbook units.The packaging was nice and minimal, and the netbook fired right up after a 2-minute installation.If you need a little performance boost on your low-powered notebook, this will give a marked improvement. How much/little of an improvement noticed is up for debate, but in my experiences, performance in Windows XP have been a little snappier, and in Ubuntu 12.04, I have no issues.Definitely recommended, especially at the low price!

Easy to install, but ASUS notebook would not recognize the increase in RAM until BIOS was reset upon startup. Press F2 and save new settings.

My netbook felt aging, with the slow processor and limited RAM (1GB, originally). By adding this 2GB piece, the netbook becomes more acceptable.
