I know it's silly but like many of the other reviewers say please please make sure this is compatible with your laptop before purchasing. For the MacBook simply looking up the model number through the official website (for my laptop it was for model #MB063LL/A) would provide the stats of which RAM is compatible with the laptop. Super easy to install.. just pop out the battery unscrew 3 screws then replace the RAM.Purchased this to help with my little brother's Macbook (mid 2007 black.) Prior to the upgraded RAM when opening a new tab in a web browser it would crash the computer or take 2 minutes just to open the new tab. Once I installed the ram it quickly opens it up with out any issues. Anyway RAM is probably the cheapest and most user friendly way to upgrade an old computer!

Im using this along with a 4gb stick for a total of 6gb on my 2008 iMac and they run perfectly! Made my computer fast again! Definitely worth it!

I got this to work on my Gateway M505B2 laptop, this laptop works great now with Ubuntu, With the memory modules I was able to breathe life into this machine again. Great purchase for stretching the life of an older laptop.

Memory card worked fine, installation was easy.MacBook Pro 3,1 upgraded to 6GB RAM, 2GB (this product) + 4GB (also from Crucial).My old laptop gained speed and improved performance just by upgrading RAM. Next step will be SSD, Crucial M4.I'm happy I didn't pay for more expensive parts from OWC.

This is quality ram from a company that knows it's stuff. I've used Crucial in several computer builds over the years and they have yet to let me down.This was purchased for an older(2006) DELL Inspiron 6400, and it installed in a few minutes and works without any problems at all. It doubled the performance(it had only 512kb...), something my old workhorse needed desperately.Not much more can be said here, this did what it was purchased for, period. Highly recommended!

Upgraded to 4GB from 2GB in my laptop (Lenovo X61 Tablet). Price was cheap and was recognized by the computer without any problems. Can't say that I have noticed any improvements, but after switching from Vista to Windows 7 with this memory already installed, I experienced no problems... so perhaps worth it just on that fact alone. A nicely working computer makes me a much happier user.

I installed this memory to my old computer which was upgraded from Vista to Windows 8. The original had 3 GB, but I replaced 1 GB RAM with this 2 GB RAM and made total 4 GB. It has been working greatly since I installed it.

We had an issue about the shipping for this piece that was quickly solved. I needed this piece for my computer and a week after my computer's hard drive died :(. It was not the fault of the ram I just thought that it was ironic that I resolved one issue for my computer to just give up anyway lol

Does just what it says it would do. I had 1GB of RAM on my emachines desktop even though I somehow thought all along that I had 2gb. anyway, this speeds up my multitasking and multi page web browsing significantly. no hitch in what i'm doing now.

Being in the industry, I work with memory upgrades a few times per week. All the name brands are solid, and I tend to stand by Crucial for peace of mind in standard business systems. Never an issue, period. Plus their memory finder system is fantastic.

Used this to update the memory in my Asus netbook, and it works well. The system was a little slow with Win 7 installed, and after installing this memory i can definitely see 20% bump in performance. Programs open much faster and watching videos is much better.

The extra gigabyte of memory gave a noticeable improvement in the overall "smoothness" of my Asus Eee PC 1005 HAB netbook (overclocked to 2.0 GHz), particularly when watching video or running multiple apps. Easy to install. Worth every penny!

I replaced 2 of these on a 5 year old iMac in less than 2 min. Restarted the computer and it worked as expected. Only used it for a few hours so I can't tell if they will last forever.

my asus with 32 bit windows vista works like a champ. the 200 pin DDR2 RAM was priced fairly too, it was much cheaper than other brands and seems to work just as well. Crucial RAM has come a long way and is more than worth its salt! Also my netbook uses the intel Atom processor.
