Good memory good price. Works as intended. Nice little upgrade for older laptops.I would recommend you upgrade from 512MB ram to 2GB for the price!

if you plan on making the netbook into a linux box this is a must. 1 gig just isnt enough for most anything these days.

I got this for an older 2007 MacBook Pro. It took a total of about 10 minutes from unwrapping the box to having this memory upgrade installed and my computer running faster than ever. Well worth the small amount of money!

Purchased for Eee PC 1005HA. Very simple installation. BIOS recognized the memory immediately. Netbook works a bit faster, not an enormous difference, but noticeable and worth the low price.

Great upgrade! It doubled my old desktop memory. No any compatibility issues with PQI Turbo 2x1GB, working flawlessly in both (4-4-4-12) and (5-5-5-15) modes. We're just happy, my 7 y.o. desktop and me!

I bought these for my dads laptop. These installed easily and worked perfectly. I highly recommend crucial memory. Best bang for your buck. These carry a. Lifetime warranty too, so if they ever go out on you, you can easily get them replaced.

I've used Crucial memory many times and have never been disappointed. Used this to upgrade a friend's old HP Desktop and it recognized it straight away. Helps give a little more life into an aging system.

I upgraded an Asus 1018PB from its standard 1GB to 2GB of memory using this product. The memory arrived quickly and the packaging was easy to open. My Asus worked with 1GB of memory, but it was pretty quickly overwhelemed by web browsers, anti-virus software, and other small programs. Since it comes with Windows 7 Starter, it can only handle a max of 2GB of memory I am told, so dont worry about trying to find a larger chip unless you're also planning on upgrading the OS.Installation took less than a minute and required only a small screwdriver since my fingers were too large to pop the memory out. To install, you remove the battery, hold the power button down to drain any remaining power, and then pop off the plastic cover on the bottom for the memory. Pull (or push) the clips aside and the memory card pops up. Pull it out, put the new one in and close it back up. Its really that easy. There are some videos on youtube (search for "asus 1018 memory") that show the process.To wrap it up, for the price and minor investment in time, its worth the payoff in improved performance.

Made a major difference in the operation of an older Dell laptop. Prior to install machine would hang and often completely lockup due to memory constraints. After install machine runs consistently faster and has not had a hang or lockup. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Looked for installation instructions online, after finding a YouTube video it was easy to install. Took less than 15 minutes and revived my Netbook for another couple years of use.

Installed this in my Gateway LT2104u netbook going from 1GB to 2GB and what a difference! It now runs Windows 7 Ultimate without the stutters and constant waiting. I love this ram!
