This is exactly what i needed for my laptop. I installed the chip and it worked like a charm. Not bad for the price. Everything works just fine and i have had it for a several months already and no complaints yet. It arrived on time and with no damage. I would recommend this to anyone who needs ram.

I used these memory modules to upgrade my 5-yr. old desktop PC. Installation was a breeze and my system recognized them right away. I already had Crucial memory modules from an earlier update, so these were completely compatible. They have been working fine for the last 3 months and I expect no future issues.

Open laptop access panel, remove, replace, reboot. That's all I've ever had to do when installing ram from Crucial. Even those that don't buy Crucial sticks will oftentimes find themselves visiting their website to lookup what type of ram to buy as the advisor is excellent. What else can you say?While this doesn't necessarily speak to the ram itself, a note to those deciding whether to add memory to an older pc. If you're stuck with 512mb or 1g of ram in your system and aren't quite sure if an upgrade is worth it, it absolutely is. Few things will perk up an older system like a ram upgrade. Honestly today it's really taxing on any system to try to get by on anything less than 2 gigs of ram. Even my old garage lappie (1.6 GHz Celeron single core, XP) will show well over 1 gig in use at any given time on the ram monitor.

I upgraded the memory in my E-machine netbook, and I have seen a world of difference in the efficiency. Perhaps with the recent up grade, I will be able to use the netbook until I am ready for a laptop. The installation was easy, as I recall following the instructions from a you tube video. I purchased the memory and a replacement battery, and I am now enjoying a much better netbook experience. For me, the upgrade was well worth it! PEF in MKE

Small investment = wonderful return. A simple swap-out procedure to replace the factory-installed RAM chip gave my netbook new life.Great service, had item quickly in hand, great value for the money. Overall, a terrific purchase.

Just added this to my 2007 iMac. I previously had 3GB, and now have 4GB. I can't really see any major improvements to the performance of the computer, but I'm sure that in some occasion it helps a bit. Next step is to swap the HDD with a SSD.

I added this 2gb of Ram to my parents computer which has been grinding along with only 4XXmb for some years now. It's just an old 2ghz processor but for browsing the internet it's like a new computer now. No more painful load times and lagging every time you do anything. I've been running crucial ram in my own computer for years as well and have never had any issues so I went with crucial again for their computer.

This 2GB SODIMM works great as an upgrade to a Asus Eee PC 1008HA netbook, although the installation process is technically challenging due to the way Asus built this particular netbook. Be sure to research the install steps before you decide to take on the upgrade.I have purchased Crucial memory for more than 10 years and they have always been high quality. The warranty process has also been great for the 1 or 2 rare occasions where I needed a replacement.

I was given a laptop by a coworker. It worked fine. Unless I had two tabs open at the same time. Once I doubled the ram, I can have has many open tabs as I want. The ram came quick, super inexpensive and packaged very securely.

I upgraded my old Compaq Presario with this 2GB kit and it was perfect - no problems with it at all.NOTE: As with all RAM, make sure it's the correct type before purchasing or it will not work with your motherboard. A little research goes a long way. Usually a manufacturers website will contain the motherboard specs and list which memory types are compatible with your board

My system: White Macbook 4,1 2008 2.4 GHz, 160 GB drive, OS X 10.6.8, formerly 2GB memory upgraded to 6GB. I bought this item along with the 4GB version Crucial 4GB Single DDR2 667MHz (PC2-5300) CL5 SODIMM 200-Pin Notebook Memory Module CT51264AC667 I am very happy with the purchase. It significantly boosted the speed of my 4 year old Mac, as well as got rid of the spinning ball effect. Product was easy to install when I followed a Youtube video on install Macbook memory.

I'm not ready to spring for a new laptop but my old Dell is sluggish with some of the new software so I decided to add this memory. I got the installation instructions online and it took appx 10 minutes. The computer recognized the new memory without any problems. It's still not blazing fast but it is better. It was a pleasant experience.

Crucial's website has a listed "compatible" version with 2gb of ram on their website. This model functions perfectly as a replacement and is available with Prime shipping. Nice to get a quality replacement from a reputable company. Took 2 minutes to install.

Just what I needed to double the speed of my macbook. Accidentally bought the wrong memory the first time around and amazon charged $8 to return! Aside from the ridiculous return fee, the product the second time around was excellent

This single stick of RAM really seems to help with multitasking on the aging Samsung N120. Well worth the upgrade if you plan on making the most of the little netbook. Disconnected the battery to the laptop pressed the power button in an attempt to discharge any leftover charge. Discharged my own static electricity on a ground, unscrewed the RAM hatch, carefully took out the OEM 1GB chip, carefully seated this upgrade chip, resealed the RAM hatch, put the battery back in and powered up. Nothing special to do other than wait a few more seconds than usual for the first bios check of the new RAM, afterward booted into the OS (noticed an all around snappier experience) and verified the OS is recognizing and using the newly doubled RAM. Mobo chipset white papers indicate getting a faster RAM (ex: PC2-6400 800mhz) won't do anything special. From what I understand even this ram is getting bottle-necked to PC2-4200 speed (533mhz vs. native speed 667mhz) due to limitations of the chipset's northbridge. Doesn't bother me one bit though, this upgrade works and even without benchmarks I notice a positive difference. Last thought... shop around if you want cheaper prices (they are out there) but Crucial just happens to be one of my preferences.

My laptop was running slow, and these did the trick! The 2-pack was reasonably priced and they fit well and worked great in the machine.Very happy with purchase! I have purchased other Crucial memory boards and they have all worked great. Would highly recommend.
