For the money, this is a nice addition to my G10 in that it provides both telephoto and wide angle along with a macro lens element. Photos so far have been very nice in terms of focus, providing you use a narrower aperture, e.g. f8 or more. No noticeable color issues. The only vignetting on the wide angle is easily fixed by zooming in slightly. When you don't want all the weight of a DSLR and yet want a range of lens options, e.g. when traveling light, this is a reasonable solution.

The charger body is made from two mouldings that do not fit together well. It is too easy to pull the halves apart when trying to fit or remove the battery.
When plugged in the device becomes alarmingly hot. I have grave reservations over the safety of this device.

I have previously bought several compatably batteries for cameras this one is as good as any and a lot cheaper than an original battery only time will tell if it lasts as long as a genuine Canon battery.

I had modest hopes for this set of wide-angle and tele- adapters for my Canon G-12, but I wasn't well rewarded for my confidence. First, the positives. The lens mounts and tubes are quite well made and nicely finished, the price was right, and shipping was prompt.
Now for the negatives. I must say at the outset that I may not have set up the lens/camera combinations properly, because there were no instructions for use provided other that a very general leaflet (identical text portions for each lens) that gave some minimal specifications pertaining to the lens in question. The tele lens did give some increased magnification, but it appears that the loss of sharpness it caused could be easily offset by a modest increase of image size during computer processing. The wide-angle attachment did produce a modest wide-angle effect, but there was vignetting in the corners and significant barrel distortion.
The wide-angle element was also marked "Macro", but the magnification/closeness that I was able to observe was less than that provided by the camera alone. This may be a sign that I did not employ the lens properly.
I recognize that it is difficult to design auxiliary optics for a camera without attachment threads, and at the price I paid I think I got a reasonable product. In the final analysis, I got a well-constructed set of lenses that I may use from time to time in specific situations, but they will never become "workhorses" in my photography.

Looking for a replacement charger for my camera an this fit what I was looking for with extra battery and car charger. The down side is the fuse in the car charger was blown so now on the hunt to find a new fuse.

Im using Canon G12 and this is a great upgrade for the camera
photos are sharp with wide lens and it is very wide, i recommend this to ppl who are having canon G12 cameras,
i never used this with G10 or G9

Time will tell how long this item lasts as I've only used it a couple times. So far it functions well and is far cheaper than the factory item. I expect the battery to last a year as most knock off batteries do. A good buy for the money.

I bought a G10 in Nov 2009; began to use it after Christmas 2010; continued occasional use until July 2012 when it developed intermittent faults - lines across the pictures, then all black or all white 'pictures'. I persevered but the the faults appeared more and more frequently rendering the camera unreliable and useless. I approached Amazon as the supplier on the basis that a camera of this cost and supposed quality should not fail after so short a time and that there must have been an inherent fault in the camera when I bought it. Others have reported problems with this model. First of all Amazon tried to avoid its supplier responsibilities under the Sale of Goods legislation by referring me to the manufacturer who, incidentally accepted that the camera was faulty but looked for £198 + £25 carriage to repair it. Amazon has flatly refused to offer any form of replacement, repair, refund or any form of redress. So - beware that a Canon G10 may well only last for around 100 days actual sporadic use and that if a fault appears outside the manufacturer's guarantee period, Amazon will have no concern for their customer.

The basic lens zoom has to be adjusted so as not to vignette the corners. Otherwise, it should fulfill my needs quite well. It is a very good purchase for the price.

Sems perfectly fine - very useful increase in capacity, amazingly low price, it remains to be seen how well it lasts (My Canon labelled battery only lasted 2 years - not impressive).

I bought this as a spare for my Canon G11. Apart from the lack of the Canon logo, I don't notice any difference in functionality. Would buy another of the same if I needed another spare.

I have had this camera for the last three years and just love it. Makes the most brilliant pictures for such a simple to use camera and is extremely robust (have dropped it a couple of time) and hard wearing. If at all I had to criticise something it would be that the two dials on the top often change their settings, but than I probably don't treat the camera as well as I should as I do not have a case and just throw it in whatever bag I am carrying. But in the other cameras I had to lift a ring in order to change it.

Impressed with the speedy delivery, battery could be used straight away. Considering this item cost a lot less than a Canon battery it does the job. Will be ordering some more.

I have been looking for one of these cameras for over a year. The zoom range is good and the camera has a reaosnable "fast" maximum aperture. I like the fact that it looks like a camera - I learned photography on a manual SLR and am used to setting esposure and ISO film speed.

This battery works - charges and holds its charge. It does not seem to hold as much charge, for as long, as the official cannon battery but it is not too far off the mark. Considering the price difference, this was to be expected.
