I hooked it up between the two available ports and now I can read! Don't let its simplicity belie its usefullness. A better cable some where else? Show me!

Works really well. My Kindle Fire HD charges completely in less than 2 hours. I highly recommend this product. Worth the few extra bucks.

worked perfectly!charged both my Kindle Fire and Kindle FIre HD easily with no issues.perfect length as well so either Kindle can be used while charging!

You need to get this cable and the Adapter to charge from the wall. This adds the option to connect to the computer which the orginal charging cable did not. In addition it is long enough to use while using the device.

A must have when you purchase your Kindle product. It is worth the price, and you can keep your Kindle charged all the time when your not using it. It also charges very fast.

My old Kindle cable stopped working because it got loose at the connection point and I was unable to charge my Kindle. The new cable is 150 times tighter and charges better than the old cord ever did. Thanks!

My only question is why did Amazon not include this fast charger with the original Kindle purchase? The original charger was very slow and then did not work at all.

Works as well as any other micro USB cable does. Snug connection and slightly thick cable. Feels sturdy. Good product.

Old cable wasn't OEM & wobbled. This is a solid, well shielded cable that fits both the plug and Kindle ends snugly. Works great.

It charges sometimes and sometimes not...not sure if it's the cord or the kindle. It has to be set in there just right for it to charge fully.

Received it on time. I like that it is longer than normal so it gives me some moving room when I want to lay down and read instead of having to worry about pulling the charger out of the wall.

Kindle now charges, but must be used with Power Fast. If I had not had on phone help with this, I would not have known I needed two pieces.

I have ordered 2 cables for my kindle and neither one fit. There is obviously a difference between a kindle fire, and a kindle fire hd.While both cables were advertised to fit the fire, neither one did.

I needed a second charger to use at work, this being part of it. I had bought one when I originally got my Kindle Fire HD, but I thought it may be beneficial if I had a second one to use at work, just in case the electricity at home were to be cut-off for some reason. So far, I haven't had to use it. Hoping it will continue to be that way.

This cable is longer then the regular one that comes with the Kendle Fire. I like it because it plugs into the PowerFast Accerated charger so it is much easier to handle.

This product is perfect, however, I didn't need it. I purchased the Kindle Paperwhite and thought I read it didn't come with this. BUT... it's the power adaptor it doesnt come with. Oh well, at $10.... you can never have enough chargers. I will just keep this one at work.

Exactly what I ordered and received it quickly! Is long enough to put anywhere in the house and i can plug it into other bases to use (like in the car). Excellent.
