- + Экран-горила.

Не плохая читалка. - - Странно что все отзываются о этой модели хорошо.
Комплектация убогая
Коробка как из под чипсов.
Сам планшет очень убогий-тоесть направлен на 2-3 задачи-Читать,Фильмы,инет.
И то справляется с ними не очень...

- + в первую очередь качественный стерео динамики, ipc матрица, gorilla glass, неплохая производительность, адекватная цена, мощная батарея на 4400mah, прорезиненный корпус, очень удобная встроенная читалка, жаль только что нерабочая, также порадовал фирменный браузер.
- - нет руссификации, точнее она есть, но...

- + Довольно шустрый (нигде! тормозов не встретил),сборка хорошая, разнообразие аксессуаров,заряд хорошо держит.
- - Отсутствие слота для карточки. Ну и может быть камеры. Ну и грамм на 100 тяжелее... ;-)

- + Купил.Разлочил.Заблокировал все Амазон-сервисы.Поставил Андроид-Маркет,Файл менеджер,клавиатуру,видеоплеер,браузер и т.д.В результате получил полноценный планшет с отличной IPS матрицей и высокой скоростью работы по мизерной цене!!!Через некоторое время буду ставить Андроид 4.0(пока сыроват).
- - Не отмечено.
Отличный девайс для тех,кто хорошо разбирается в разлочке и програмировании и совершенно бесполезный для ламеров(все сервисы заточены под Амазон,причем с американской кредиткой).

- + Цена, качество сборки, компактность, работа с Excel и Word- песня. Видео читает все, что влазит в память. Интернет - летает.

- + экран, очень качественный.
скорость работы, два ядра говорят сами за себя.
после обновления 6.2.2 аппарат стал работать стабильнее.
приложения сторонние устанавливаются без проблем без всякого взлома, по крайней мере то что мне надо было все встало. - - 3G. его не хватает. но даже не это главное, не работает соединение по WIFI компьютер-компьютер...

- + Всё решает цена. Для поездок, в качестве дивайса для заполнения свободного времени, за такие деньги, ничего найти не возможно.Я очень доволен игрушкой.
Книжка, игры с отличной графикой и скоростью, просмиотр видео и телевидения, радио, социальные сети, шустрый...

- не тормозит, не глючит, эргономичен - - - нужны прямые руки иначе пользы от него ноль
- нет микрофона и камеры

- + - IPS, читать и смотреть видео очень приятно.
- "телефонная" версия андройда. это пока что даже "+", ибо все приложения идут без ограничений.
- почти все игры, в том числе GTA3 - летают.
- сидеть в интернете очень удобно.
- мощная батарея
- звук из внешних динамиков и...

I got mine 2 days after my Kindle, and it's made a nice resting place for my Kindle when not in use.Quality:I certainly don't see any creases or obvious defects in workmanship like some other reviewers have claimed. The leathery handle material tends to pick up some finger grease occasionally, but that comes off easily with a cloth. While I can't say it's made of the most amazing material or quality, it's certainly comparable to many other sleeves. It beats the $5 - 10 eBay sleeves I've gotten for other devices, by far. I can't understand why people are leaving such negative reviews, that $30 is too much for something like this, especially when they clearly could see what it looked like in the product images (did you forget to zoom?) before purchasing. What I got was exactly as pictured and described, and I have very little room for complaints about the quality.Smell:I don't know what everyone else is smelling, but we're either all old here, have stuffy noses from seasonal allergies, or I just got a different batch than everyone else. I can smell the new plastic scent when I hold the sleeve directly in my face, but it's not overpowering at all. It's certainly magnitudes less of a scent than a new car, a new printer, etc. I didn't even notice it until I read the reviews. Your mileage may vary, depending on just how sensitive your nose is. Just know that if you get one from the same batch as mine, it's on par (or less) as most other electronics out there.Product:I'm a bit concerned about the relatively small margin between the device and the zipper. I'm afraid I'm going to not put the Kindle in far enough, and have the zipper scratching up the sides. Smaller margin means less wiggle-room for the Kindle while in transit, as well as smaller size for easier handling and fit, so I suppose it's a fair trade-off -- as long as I can remember to consistently push it in all the way before zipping. Inconvenient? Sure enough. But since a 7" tablet is all about size, I can certainly deal with it.Other reviewers have complained about lack of protection. Exactly what are you expecting? If you're wanting ruggedization, you should consider getting a full case or bag instead. This is a lightweight *sleeve*, meant for portability -- to protect the Kindle from light shocks and other objects while in an outer bag or pocket. That said, this sleeve has quite a bit of protection compared to most other sleeves I've had. I feel absolutely confident it provides enough protection for what I'll be carrying the sleeve in (my MacBook Air bag, or my coat's inner pocket).As long as you are confident that a compact sleeve is all you're looking for, I believe this will do the job just fine for you too.Update (May 4, 2012):Roughly half a year since I started using the case, and it's doing great. It goes with me whenever I go out, in my car door's pocket. Restaurants, beaches, doctor offices, and stores -- it's seen them all, and no wear or stains to speak of yet. It's protected my Kindle well, and its portability is indeed excellent.Despite my initial concern for the zipper scratching my Kindle because of its tight fit, I'm happy to report that such an incident has yet to occur, and my Kindle still looks brand new thanks to it.

I am on a fixed budget, being on SSDI. And a single mom. So paying almost ten dollars for a cable that I can get a non-Amazon brand for half that price? I was hesitant. Very hesitant.But it was worth it. I had been using a USB cable, but my Kindle Fire (not HD, the older model) was suddenly charging slower. Much slower. In fact, it would no longer charge while I was using it if it was plugged in. Or it was, but the battery percentage was still decreasing. So I decided to completely wear the battery down as far as it would go, and recharge it to full, figuring it just needed a little maintenance. Typically, doing that, it would take about 3-4 hours to recharge to full. But it took over 12 hours. So I decided to hope that it was the cable, and not the kindle itself.I got the new Kindle USB cable yesterday. I completely ran down the battery again, and it charged in 3 1/2 hours. With me reading a book on it while it was doing it. Yeah!!! So yes, paying extra for a Kindle specific Amazon branded cable is worth it, in my opinion.

when my kindle fire quit charging at 3 months I thought it was gone forever as I was using a new charger I bought for it. I talked to customer service about the fire and he suggest he send me this charger at no charge as it was supposed to fix an engineering problem previously known to them. I didn't think it would work but agreed anyway. I got this charger ad used it immediately,. it charged quickly and my kindle fire was ready to go and has been fine ever since. I read a book a day so its very important to me to have kindle working all the time. thanks to amazon and the customer service people I feel I will have that just fine from now on and I can trust them to find the answer to the problem promptly and easily..

I have just had this a very short while, so I can't comment on its durability, but the cord appears to be the same cord that originally came with my new Kindle PW. I have had no problems with my original cord; this cord I just purchased was to be a spare that I could carry to work with me. Having a spare allows me to charge my Kindle at work, so it is always charged more than half way. This cord seems to charge just the same as the original cord. If I have problems with either of them in the future, other than just normal wear and tear, I will try to remember to update this review.

When I first received my Kindle Fire HD 8.9" it came with the same USB cable, but I knew something was wrong as soon as I tried to disconnect it from my Kindle. It was nearly impossible to take out and I actually thought it may break off inside because it was so hard. I had to use physical force to remove it. After this, I called Amazon customer service and explained my issue. They sent me this and althoug it's a better fit, it still needs me to pull hard to remove it. It has little barbs on the sides, and it seems to me like it almost needs little buttons on the side to release it. I am still a little worried that I'll damage it, but I guess that's what the protection plan is for. This is my 3rd Kindle and I have never had this type of issue before. So far the product works.

I received this cable from Amazon with my Kindle Fire HD 8.9" (purchased mid-December 2012). It is 5 ft. long and works well for charging. However, I need a longer length to comfortably use Kindle while the batteries are charging. I tried a 10 ft cable from StarTech StarTech 10-Feet Micro USB Cable - A to Micro B (UUSBHAUB10) which fit the ports but didn't charge or power the Kindle. I hope Amazon will make this cable available in a longer length, like 8 ft. If anyone knows of an extra long cable that charges the Kindle Fire HD, please leave a comment!

The replacement was needed because the original cord for my KINDLE 2 disintegrated. Customer service was quite helpful AFTER I experienced a high degree of frustration trying to find a replacement myself online. I want to note that since they were so quick to replace it for free, it appears to me that this is a known problem with these cords. Be warned though if you experience the same issue. KEEP your "wall plug" because the replacement doesn't come with it... they charge an additional $9.95 for something that came with the original! Overall, I am also irritated that Amazon has so quickly forgotten KINDLE 2 owners. Sorry guys, we paid close to $400 for this item, and all you want to do now is have us toss it out and replace it, at personal cost. No covers available, or accessories, etc. VERY disappointed in that.

The connection was no better than what I already had. Still having the same problem, but has gotten worse. Now it turns on/off & only sometimes does it actually charge. I have lost all patience with my Kindle Fire. There is no reason for me to even buy books anymore because the charge does not last long enough for me to even take it with me for reading purposes. This is my third Kindle - same problem happens eventually each time. Very disappointed in this product.
