Thank goodness this worked perfectly! My Kindle Fire lives right next to wherever I am, ready to go to work day or night. So when it quit, I was devastated. One quick call to amazon, problem solved. Faulty connection. Two days later, my Kindle Fire was once again my loyal companion. Thank you, Amazon.

I looked everywhere for this USB cable and was not able to find one until I finally found it on amazon,I did find one at an electronics store but it was more than twice the price for the same thing and it had to be ordered (3 week waite) I received my USB cable in two days and the price was absolutely great,it is just what I was looking for and the price was a plus,thank you amazon you have always been able to give me what I am looking for at a great price.

The adapter that came with my son's Kindle Fire was only a regular wall plug and soon stopped working.I called Amazon Support and they sent me this cable and adapter: No more problems!Thanks Amazon Support!

I rated this cable not only for its ability to charge my Kindle, but because Amazon stood up and said: hey, we have a defective piece of equipment and we need to replace this with no charge for our customers. I was shocked when my original cable disintegrated in front of my eyes. I check for a replacement on Amazon, found others who had been through the same experience, and found the information to replace the cable at no charge. Thank you, Amazon, for taking personal responsiblity for this item. I will always be a loyal customer because of your actions.

I purchased this cable with hopes of charging my Kindle Fire with my iPhone 5 in a PowerGen Dual Port USB Wall Charger. This cable works great. Fits tightly with no problems on either side.

I ordered my self and then I returned with excellent assistance and then I called customer assistance and got the same sub to mini as before and the charger is not the super charger I tried to order but both pieces are compatible with my Kindle fire he. thank you for your time and attention!

We received four of these from Amazon for my husband's Kindle. None of them worked. He now uses the charger for his Sprint cell phone and it works great. I wrote to Amazon about our problem, but never heard back from them.In the process of receiving these four useless cable he also received four new Kindles. It was not the Kindle but the cord, but Amazon didn't seem to care.

I WANTED TO HAVE ONE AT WORK SO I DID NOT HAVE TO CARRY THE CORD EVERYWHERE SO THIS WORKS GREAT. I ALSO GOT THE FASTER CHARGER FOR IT AND THIS IS A MUST OTHERWISE IT TAKES TOO LONG TO WAIT FOR. IF YOU HAVE THE KINDLE MAKE AN INVESTMENT AND GET EXTRA ACCESSORIES FOR IT.

Heavy duty cord/cable is durable and so far reliable. Charges every time. The micro USB is a bit of a tight fit but it's okay.

The cable that came with my Kindle Fire wouldn't always charge my Kindle. I guess it had a short or something. The new 5 ft. cable is really great. Haven't had one second of trouble with it.
