This is awesome for traveling when outlets aren't in the right places. And, it makes it easier to use at home as well, for those times when you need/want to charge and read at the same time!

I kept having to replace the original charge that came with my Kindle Fire. This cable has worked perfectly since I received it. I love that the plugs fold away and you can store the cable and connecter in a plastic bag out of site.

This was suggested and provided as a solution to a charging problem with my older Kindle. It did not work but I am using it with the replacement kindle and it is great.

I found the cable is still to short. Same length as the cable that came with my Kindle Fire. Why don't they have longer cords on these products that need to be recharged

I recently moved and somehow misplaced the charging cable for my Kindle. I was able to borrow one from a friend and I replaced it with this one which I ordered. Amazon's efficient service is remarkable

For some reason, my Kindle was not charging properly when connected to my computer. Amazon's customer service rep recommended that I charge it with the plug in charger and I have not had a problem since.

I have had problems with my Kindle Fire cables becoming lose and eventually not charging my Kindle Fire. So far this one is working perfectly! I am very happy, but remain cautiously optimistic.

Like that this can be used with the fast charger or with the computer. Actually bought 2 sets of cable and chargers so I don't have to remember to take it with me when I travel - keep one in my suitcase.

It charged my kindle and seems to be made heavy duty. I also like the fact that I can plug my kindle up to charge and the cord is long enough for me to still be able to sit on my couch and read!

The new USB cord works to charge my Kindle. I was having trouble with the cord that came with my Amazon not charging it. I contacted Amazon and they made it right by supplying me with a new cord which works very well. Thanks Amazon!

15 month old Kindle Fire stopped charging. Amazon provided this and a new charger, no charge. Turned out this wouldn't fix the problem and they replaced the entire Fire, but this new cord and the new fast charger are both terrific!

This cord worked perfectly for about two weeks, until my first-generation Kindle finally bit the dust a few days ago. I know I'll be able to use it with whatever Kindle device I may decide to buy, so I'm a happy camper.

I have 3 Kindles, one the original Kindle Fire and one the Larger Kindle HD, and one 2nd generation. I use all of them at different times, places and for different reasons. I found it was necessary to have a second charging cable for when I am babysitting and not at home. So far, it has worked well charging all 3 Kindles.

Wow , what a difference a good cable makes. My Kindle Fire wasnot charging well, slooooooow, or not at all, or only getting to 1/2 capacity. This cable is a very tight fit into the Kindle and works beautifully.

My Kindle Fire was just over a year old when the cable went bad. Amazon replaced it for free with this charger, plus another piece that has one of those little flip-out plugs you can tuck away when traveling. Works great. Charges quickly. Excellent customer service.

THis usb cable is easy to use - and works well -It takes a lot more time - than a traditional wall charger - But it works fine in charging your kindle to your laptop or mainframe.

From reading the notices from Amazon about updates for my Kindle Fire, I ordered this cable. Once I get it I discover that my version of Kindle does not need updates. I wish I had been informed of this prior to ordering.
