Hardly used and lasted only 9 months before giving me a card error in my trusty Canon xti DSLR. Older CF cards(Lexar, SanDisk) are still good, some from 2001.

I've had the card for a few years with rather infrequent use in my digital SLR camera. It's worked fine right up to tonite, when I took about 30 great shots for my boy's prom nite. I know they were great because I was going through and editing them when the card decided to give up the Ghost and join the CompactFlash Card Choir Invisible. It is now pushing up digital daisies...it is a Late CompactFlash card. And everything on the card is gone. The LESSON I have learned is that when using a discount memory card like this one, always FIRST download the images somewhere ELSE before editing etc. and be willing to toss the card and replace it with a fresh new one on a frequent basis. I figure I'll continue to use this brand, but will get 2 or three at a time (which would equal the cost of one Sandisk) and be a lot smarter about how to use them in the future.

I got this for my old faithful Nikon D70 DSLR camera.The original 8GB card was starting to fail, so it was time to replace it.This card is lightspeed faster than the previous card.With compactflash now almost archaic since it is no longer the media format designed for portable electronics, the cost for the same capacity card is much much better than just a few years ago.Thumbs up.

Imagine driving miles then hiking miles all day into the mountains to an amazing 360 degree view.Imagine shooting hundreds of bracketed RAW shots for HDR photos.Imagine waking up tired and sore the next day ready to edit your shots.Imagine a failed Transcend 16 gb card, all the previous day's effort blown.Go ahead, buy one. :(

I used the 32 GB card to replace my first generation iPod Mini's 4 GB hard drive, and it's working great.After the upgrade, iTunes restored it with no problems, and then the capacity showed up as 29.77 GB. I've filled it to two thirds of its new capacity so far, and have run into zero issues.

I have an older Canon 30D dslr and it seems to keep up with its slower buffering system. Haven't had any problems and have used it multiple times so far. Just make sure to format it on your camera before first use and everything you wipe the pictures.

The manual, apparently written some time ago, suggests caution when selecting the card manufacturer and speed of the cards and a list of tested and approved cards is provided, but many of the cards listed are no longer available. So, I was a bit apprehensive about trying these cards because of the low price. However, I'm very pleased to report that the two cards I have used so far have worked flawlessly. Only when I have shuttled a machine in fast forward or reverse has it sometimes gives an indication that the card speed may be too slow for that function. Normal recording and playback work fine. All in all, I can't imagine what improved performance one could want from more expense cards in my application.

This CF card works great in my Canon EOS Rebel XT. Reading other reviews some people showed concern for the actual speed of the card, but so far I haven't had any issues. This is my first time using a DSLR, so I'm not doing anything fancy though.

Purchased card first of June 2012. Used 3 times and received error on camera while shooting. Lost ALL images citing corrupt files. Will NEVER purchase this brand again! We have always used LEXAR Pro, which I recommend.

I have an old Canon Powershot Pro 1. I did not think it would work their website gave me no information but it does and I am getting clear crisp pictures, as well as a shorter downtime when trying to take multiple shots. I use the digtal for shooting movies primarily, so I need the quality I can get from this card.

Received on time and just as advertised, works fine, this is installed on a Roland Juno G through a PCMCIA adapter (bought together), memory is working fine, after a few days of usage, no issues to report.

I picked this up for around $40 (forty) dollars here on amazon. I have no complaints and use this with my Canon 7D nearly every day. If you are looking to do more video, you should get a faster card. I don't do much video on my 7D so this is excellent for photo's and short 2-3 minute videos.

Just as one other reviewer has said (THANKS!), in my EOS 5D/II with latest firmware, the 32GB 133X formats to 7.36GBTryed full FAT32 format on my PC didn't help. This is my 2nd card. Replaced by Amazon after first showed this formatting issue.Found Transcend's auto-format tool on their web site that another Amazon buyer said solved his (5D/II, 32gb 133X) problem, 32GB formats to 7.36GB. Most have no issue it seems. A few do[...]Worked for me. Card now at 29.8 GBI seldom format in the camera, usually just erase.Hope this helps

I have an old SanDisk Card that has never caused an error in my Canon 10D camera. The Transcend Card caused an Error 2 on about every 5 pictures and I lost the pictures. I ordered a new SanDisk to replace the Transcend Card. I would not recommend the Transcend Card for Canon cameras.

I got this to replace the hard drive in an old 4GB iPod Mini I use in my car. The hard drive was still working, but I got tired of reloading music and never having the selection I was in the mood for. When I opened the thing up, I noticed that the cable interface to the hard drive was exactly like the connector on a Compact Flash card, so I gave it a try with a CF card I had lying around and it worked. Then, when I saw this card, with 8 times the storage capacity of the hard drive, for around $45, I had to go for it. I couldn't be happier with it. Unlike the hard drive, this card lets the iPod load the music almost instantly. There was always a delay with the hard drive--sometimes a minute or more--when I first turned it on in the morning, and I'm sure this thing is less of a drain on the iPod's aging battery. So if you have an old iPod lying around with a bad drive or one that's just too small, upgrade it with one of these. As long as it's a model that uses the 1" microdrive, it should fit, and it might even work in the bigger ones, but I'm not sure.

I own two of these cards, and they are the only two cards that I use. I'm on Amazon today, thinking about buying the 32 GB card.I photograph a lot of portraits, which obviously doesn't require a lot of writing speed, but I also photograph at sporting events such as collegiate football, basketball, NASCAR, MLB, NFL, and motorcross. I've used the cards in the following Canon Cameras without a single issue: 30d, 40d, 50d, 5d, 7d,5d Mark II.I photograph everything on a RAW+JPEG (L) setting. I did not notice any lag time writing to the card while photographing high bursts with the 7d during the TCU football games this year.Hope this helps.You can search for Kent_Gilley and AllThingsPurple on Flickr to see the pictures written to this card.

This card deserves nothing short of 5 stars. I bought it two years ago and now, almost 8000 clicks later in my 7D (all in RAW or RAW+LJPEG), this card has NEVER failed me in any way. The 7D is known for its high burst rate. I don't shoot sports (or I would have gone with a 600x card) but to test this card, I have taken as many as 12 frames at max rate and it did just fine, taking only a few seconds afterwards to empty its buffer.Lately, there has been a rash of knock-off CF cards on the market, hence my warning to buy only from Amazon direct; i.e. be sure the product says "Sold by and ships from Amazon". Whenever I'm suspicious of a product's authenticity, I shy away from Amazon Marketplace resellers because I have no way of knowing how they are sourcing their products. However, I fully trust Amazon direct.I just ordered a second one so thought I should write a review based on my experience thus far.

I ordered this flash card for an iPod project. For anyone that knows about the old iPod Mini, you'll probably also know that it suffered from terrible battery life and had an actual spinning HDD. Since my battery had gone and I was already going to have the case open to replace it, I decided to double its storage space as well. This card worked like a charm. Just plugged right in.For those of you just wanting the card for a camera or anything else, I can't see it having any issues. R/W seemed good and it hasn't given me any problems. Shipped rather quick as well.
