I was looking for a CF card because I just got a new camera and my SD cards did not work. So I just bought a 2 GB SD card and didn't want to spend a lot of money. This was a GREAT DEAL! It came in less than a week and was about $2 more for the 4 GB compared to the 2 GB... no brainer!

Huge capacity, extremely fast read speed. Takes a while to write back the computer, but unless you need the pictures NOW it isn't a problem

I've been using this for months now and it still works. I've used some cards that were from cheaper manufacturers but they do not last long and begin to fail with read/write errors. You get what you pay for. This one was a good deal and works well.

I have bought four of these to date. Three for myself and one for my uncle. I use a D200 10.2MP camera, and let me tell you this card is a must have for those who like to travel. The massive card allows for 346 RAW images to be taken at the finest quality & roughly 1,300 JPEGS on the highest JPEG setting. If you need to travel and won't have anywhere to offload your CF for a while, I suggest buying these!

I've gone through about 4000 shots on this card now with no issues. No problems in burst mode on my Canon 20D. In use it's been just as reliable as my Sandisk Extreme III's.

Product works as indicated and was compatible with both Canon and Nikon cameras. Not as fast as some smaller capacity cards but certainly has a place due to it's large storage capacity. Speed tradeoff is reasonable but for those who shoot multiple rapid exposures on high capacity resolution settings a smaller, faster card may be a better purchase.

This allows me to run my video over 30 minutes and hundreds of picture at 8 mpix resolution! It also works well for data backup and file transfers between conputers. I can put my whole 2-3 week vacation of pics and video on it and carry it in my pocket for saftey!

Shooting w/ my Nikon D70s in burst mode: I can record 3fps (frames per second) in raw for the first four shots and average 1.5 sec between shots thereafter (by comparison, my extreme IV 2 GB card gets 5 shots off at 3fps and averages 1.0 sec between additional shots). If I shoot with the transcend card in the maximum jpeg setting the results are even better: 3fps for the first 11 shots and 0.9 sec between shots thereafter.I was able to read 786mb off the card in 48sec (51sec with extreme IV) using my sandisk extreme usb reader. Writing 786mb to the card from my computer (which I never do) was, however, slow: 105sec compared to 57sec with extreme IV.

Had two of these, one original, one replacement. BOTH failed upon being formatted in a Vista PC. Bought a 'Brand' name localy and had no problems.

This is a great card, would have gotten 5 stars if it didn't go from a 16gb card to an 8gb card. Thanks!Word of advice, when clearing the card off, DO NOT FORMAT IT, delete everything.... My card is now only 8gb and trying to reformat it on OS X or WinXP still pushes it to only 8gb. I have no idea how to restore the full amount of space...Other than that, the card is fine. I just wish I had the other 8gb now...

I bought this memory card for my Olympus E-510, and I really like it. I had a no-brand compact flash card, and the imprvement is awesome. My camera writes to card at 10 MB/s, and 133x speed is enought for that. I don't feel the need for a faster card.

I've had this card for over a month. Using it in my Canon Digital Rebel XT. I've erased photos again and again, and kept some on the card. No problems, so far. Quality seems good, and you can't beat the price. If you want an 8 gig Compact Flash card for digital photography, you can't beat this card. Go for it!

I have cycled these cards (2) about twenty times now and haven't had any problems at all. They seem to be as fast as my SanDisk II 2G in my Canon 400 XTi, although speed is not one of my needs as a landscape photographer. This is just a good value.

These camera memory cards are a great deal at less than $40 apiece. I shot a wedding with both of them and they worked with no problems. I recommend them.Update 8/21/2012: I have used these memory cards for countless weddings and they still work. The only thing is, I now shoot a much faster camera and they are much, much slower than the newer UDMA cards out there.

I'd never heard of this brand before I purchased the card but now i'd swear by it. It's really fast and I can take 10.1 Megapixel pictures for weeks without having to empty it. If you run Vista make sure that you have the most recent updates and patches because it tends to cause problems if you don't. I also suggest some sort of recovery software just in case your computer or camera decides to lose your pictures. They're still on the card and very easy to recover. GREAT CARD. WORKS WELL WITH ALL EXISTING TECHNOLOGY.

Bootup time is cut by more than 50%, from more than two minutes to less than one. Battery life is extended by about 20%. The laptop is silent, responds quickly and is a much nicer machine with its improvised SSD. The only drawback, however, is a big one: installing applications is agonizingly, maddeningly slow. Orders of magnitude slower than the old hard drive. It probably would have made more sense to use more expensive, faster CF cards or wait for the price of purpose-built SSD's to fall to my range.

I bought this card to use with a Canon Digital Rebel XT DSLR. It can hold up to 900 images at 8.2 megapixel in the RAW format. The camera has no problems accessing the memory card. Its quick and problem free. This compact flashcard is a great value. It is much cheaper then any other comparable card. You should have no issues with this card, worked like a champ for me.

I have a Cannon D60 that could only use 2 GB of my Transcent 8 GB CF card so I put the 8GB card to better use for MP3's in my car and I bought this 2GB card for my camera. The card responds quick and has been flawless and my camera can take advantage of the entire usable space. Very nice!
