design is good, can be placed anywhere, Im using 2 laptops, 2 mobile and a roku............every thing runs smooth in my network.

It tooks a while for the connection to come on line. That was due to the ISP more than the router. It was easy installation and great directions.

I purchased this router a couple years ago and have had on going problems. It has a very small distance that it covers. It cuts out and sometimes there is no signal all, even when we are in the same room.

had to reboot 2 times so far. hope this is not a daily process... it is behind my RG, and i have 2 networks set up and a DMz and a few pinholes.. maybe overtaxing the S/W

I recently had a Netgear N wireless router that started needed constant rebooting. I t looked good, but the performance was average. After only having it a year and a half I decided to see if I could find a cheaper but good working n router. After seeing the reviews, specs, and price I decided to purchase this router. The performance is great. The range is better than the netgear and setup was easy. I did have to figure how to get it to work with the DSL modem, but after reviewing the instruction manual I was off and running. If this baby will last a couple of years at least then I will be back for another one. I will never waste more money for a better name. Instead I'll save my money and research to find a great deal like this baby.

This router will not stay connected to the Internet without rebooting it at least twice a day. Contacted Tp-Link customer support and was told to go online and update the software. Well for this router they have 3 updates to fix bugs, etc. I tried one with all the steps, and it seemed to work for a few days, but then right back to the same thing. I had a 54 Mbps Linksys before, but got this one for the 300 Mbps. When the TP worked, it was faster, just not reliable. Also, I missed my 30 day return window with Amazon because I was trying to do the update and not have to fool with shipping back, but the time got away from me. Don't let this happen to you. I would stay away from this one.

Not being very "tech savvy," all I can really say is that it's been working reliably without any trouble. SO I LIKE IT & I WOULD TELL A FRIEND TO BUY ONE.

I received this item as promised. I followed the directions and was able to get it working in a fair amount of time. It has many options available for those who want to mess with them. I like working with computers, but I fall short on knowing internet security lingo, so I really didn't mess around with anything other than having a password with the recommended security type.I was also very happy about the range of the device.I would definitely recommend this item and I would buy it again myself.

virtually plug and play. great for the price when compared to the other routers out there at the same speed. easily lets us stream multiple HD videos at once from wireless devices

Hi everybody,To start of, I have owned 3 of these routers till now.The most bad reviews I have read about it is that it's hard to configure. Well to cut it short, I have not seen a router that is easier to setup. It took barely 5 minutes from plugging in to surfing the net.Secondly, the speed of this router is second to none. I have used far more expensive Netgear, Linksys and Belkin routers and they would wet their pants looking at this beast with 2 horns i.e 2 antennas!!The BEST ever wi-fi coverage and speed. To give you a perspective, I can sit in the park opposite to my apt building and still work on my home wifi.I would not blink before buying it again.BUY IT !! PERIOD.

Short and sweet,very easy to set up, I configured it for fixed channel and wide bandwidth (high data transfer) and than it crashed and it crashed Hard LOL. Streaming HD on 2 flats plus transferring movies from my DTV Nomad to a laptop simultaneously. After multiple resets it never came back to life, unable to interface just lights and sits like a brick.Returned and bought the ASUS RT-N66U, what a workhorse, mimicked the above scenario and worked flawlessly with no bogging.I'm no expert but I know quality, so I guess the old expression is true "you get what you pay".

Extremely cheap 150Mbps router that supports DD-WRT, when I got this router I had to power cycle it almost everyday for a week then I place DD-WRT on it and smooth sailing began. The router has been so stable and only had to power cycle it twice in the last few months, the range is okay and the speed is comparable to my Cisco router. If you know anything about DD-WRT and looking for an inexpensive router this is it, don't think just jump. Extremely great value!!!

Good router. I highly recommend TP-Link now to anyone looking for a new router as I've had nightmarish experiences with other brands of modems and routers (namely Cisco/Linksys and D-Link) and I just couldn't be happier with how this one has worked since I got it 8 months ago. I have a Windows 7 machine wired to it, 2 XP machines connected wirelessly and I just recently added a new wireless network printer using the QSS (or WPS) button. Everything is fast and stable, secure, and the admin UI is well designed/doesn't look cheap.

First this router is awesome! Great signal, never drops the signal/have to reset it.Second if you're a mac user, the first instructions that come out of the box state that the system requirements are Windows!!! AAAAHH!! The set up disc that comes with this are those mini ones (not mac compatible). Don't worry though, you can get this up and running without it. First ignore all the instructions. Second power on the router. Third plug in your router to your internet (make sure you are in the LAN port). And now it works!!!! No disc necessary...However if you want to set up a password or change the name, keep reading...Forth, open Safari (internet browser). Type in 192.168.1.1 (the username and password are: admin). From there you can change the password fairly easy (it will reboot). And you can change the name that it is displayed as (SSID). After it reboots, it has been configured with a new name/password without using the disc.Great router! No complaints!

This is by far the best consumer grade wireless router I have owned--I've had a Belkin, a D-Link, and a Linksys. This is the only one I havent had to restart every couple of days. I've had it for a year now, and I've never had to restart it. Additionally, all routing features you'd expect on a good consumer product are here, along with a good web-based interface. I would definitely recommend this one.

This router was easy to setup. Has an abundance of features (pretty much everything that you'd want for a SOHO router except 5Hz band).I also like the power button.EDIT: Only previous versions of this router are supported by DD-WRT unfortunately and since there's no way to check which version Amazon is sending out, don't buy this one if you're planning to use DD-WRT on it.I'd recommend this router.
