Camera was just what I was looking for, something small enough to carry beside you in the car and be able to take the picture you only wished you could take before. I looked for 3 months before I purchased this camera, comparing it against everything I could see. They still describe this as a point and shoot, but this camera is well beyound that. If anyone is looking for a camera this is it, look no further.

Just picked this up (not on amazon for incogneetus reasons) and I'm playing with it at the bar... Hole Lee Shale Mining.

The only thing that made me want to post a review immediately is that this thing takes a shot at the instant you hit the shutter. Like, its a monster. Hit the button, and the shot is captured. You can feel the muscle flexing at the instant you tell it to do something.

I am amazed by how small this camera is, its multiple features, and what great photos it takes in dark places. The package is the way to go and Focus shipped it out quickly. I own a Nikon D300 and it takes some effort to lug it around. I wanted a small camera for travel that approaches DSLR quality and this camera appears to fit that function. Its quality is well above a point and shoot. It has many useful intelligent scenes and does a great job selecting them automatically, or you can shoot manually. Wifi is easy to set up with an iPad and the ability to tilt the LCD is a great feature. I have only two negative comments. First, the users manual is not complete (many "add details") and you don't get a printed copy or even a CD. Second, Focus advertised a battery charger in the package. Instead, I received a disk reader. The second issue wasn't a big problem because I was going to order a Sony battery charger anyway.

All good and above expectations. the case is very nice with superb finish. it arrived before promised date.

excellent camera for a novice photographer and easy to carry around. I have sony slr and nex cameras and it all went to waste,
have to use different lens for applications and it's not suitable for me. I am sorry I spend so much money in the past when a
camera like the rx100m3 would have filed all my requirements.

there was a problem with defective charging cords in many of the originally shipped cameras. I returned this camera. I was able to identify the problem at the local camera store where I bought it after returning the one I bought online.

Nice little camera. A little bulky. Much heavier than a Coolpix size camera. Problem with batteries. Battery life is very low, so you need at least one extra battery and ideally a battery charger instead of having to charge the batteries in the camera via USB cable.

It may accommodate the M1, but I still don't rate it highly, as the supplied strap is far too flimsy to trust with a camera like this, and the lining of the case was very poorly attached, not stuck down properly.

Will be returning.

I liked it a lot, but it is NOT a pocket camera. It is too large and too heavy for that purpose. It wasn't a good fit in a jacket pocket, for the same reason. It is a terrific camera otherwise.

Absolutely love this camera. It is easy enough to pull out and shoot but advance enough for many photographer as a secondary camera when you don't want to bring the big one out.

It is portable and is always in my bag. Works very well in low light. Good dynamic range. Plenty of features that makes advance users happy.

Great camera. I love it. Picture quality is fantastic. I am still exploring the many options it offers I first used it on vacation took Simone great pictures. I was looking for point and shot ended up spending more money but I am very happy.

This is a great camera. I struggled with the decision to buy it since I am a relative novice when it comes to photography but I am glade I made the investment. Pictures are beautiful and there is plenty of info on the internet about this camera if you don't know much about all of its features.

Great Camera. I do hiking a lot here in Hawaii and I used this camera a lot to take pictures. good quality picture. Easy to use and light weight, perfect for hiking and everyday use.

Why buy only a great camera for this price? This package contains so much added value, that makes the product more functional, ready at all times and handy for every use. Still exploring the camera, but able to figure out much intuitively, without digging into a book. Fill flash does well, plenty of zoom, and lotsa pixels make editing close in produce a great result. More to learn, but All Systems Go after a fun week shooting in several different light/action/focal situations.

Great camera, love it! It is so nice to have something small enough to fit in my handbag. This camera has great ability to shoot indoor images. Set it on Intelligent auto and GO.

Great case. It looks like an old camera everyone asks me how old is this camera and when they see the camera is new all surprised. Only issue I have is it does not have a good strap to secure around the shoulder or neck.

This is a highly functional camera with options for those with years of photography experience all the way down to those, like my wife, who just want a point and shoot for family gatherings. While my dad, who made a living behind a camera, will use the many features within the menus, my loving while will simply place the selector on Auto and shoot away.

The color, warmth and tonal range are excellent as well as the low light operation. I highly recommend this camera for a carry about when the shot has to look great, but you haven't read all the latest on scene setup.

I'm a fan of Canon, and thought I would try this highly reviewed camera...takes great pictures but one of the critical buttons on this $800 camera went bad after only a month and a half of light use. I have never had any such issues with Canon products.

Lots to learn about this camera. I've taken some pics and they look great. It'll take some time to use all of the features. I'm having problems with the view on TV feature. Maybe my TV or DVD player.

I received the camera with a small scratch on the lcd and few finger print smudges on the lens. I dropped a mail to focus group and they replied back saying that they open all the camera box to right down the serial number of the camera. If they are opening the box by themselves then why is it being selled as new

I call this my "magic camera." I still cannot believe how well it performs in low light! I really like the design. It is sleek without being to flashy. I don't have a problem with it slipping out of my hand like some people mentioned. I do always wear the wrist strap though, just in case!

An advanced pocketable camera with near SLR quality shots. Nothing else in the P&S sector comes close. But you'll find you need to immediately order the SONY handgrip made for this camera. The weight of this camera and the smooth sides makes it want to slip out of your hands. Since there is such a small amount of room on the back of the camera for you to grip with your hands, I find myself accidentally hitting the on/off or even the shutter button on the top when I attempt to prevent smearing the back LCD with my fingers. In general this camera could use a much larger handgrip than even the one that SONY makes. On the positive side I'm tickled that I can get actual good bounce flash shots by holding the flash back with my left hand. The results are surprisingly good.Overall great quality, but you'll need to learn how to hold this camera without dropping it, or smearing the LCD screen.

The camera takes great photos overall, but I have to admit that I'm disappointed with the zoom quality. It doesn't have a strong zoom lens. Otherwise, it's a great, simple point and shoot.

I actually really like the look and feel of this case, the only problem is, it doesn't quite fit.

I purchased this in conjunction with Sony's LCJ-RXC case to see which one worked best. They are both high quality materials and construction. The two bottom pieces work and fit almost identically. The megagear case does not allow access to the micro-usb charging port while on. The main problem stems from the top portion of the case. It simply doesn't hold the camera as it should. In a side by side comparison, the LCJ-RXC case is at least a 1/2" shorter than the megagear case. This 1/2" size difference allows the top piece to jiggle around while closed.

I really wanted to like this case and actually prefer the look of the megagear to that of the LCJ-RXC. Unfortunately, it just feels sloppy and unsecure on the camera.
