I love the case, it's very retro but the strap is crappy. The ends where you attach it to the camera are just thin cotton ribbon that slips when attached. I've had to get another strap that is more secure. I wish they would improve this aspect of the case, it would be perfect.

So far it seems to be a great little camera. I've only had it a few days and have only taken a few pictures and I very much like the way it works. I do feel that you need the book to help you get the most out of the camera. The directions that come with it leave a lot to be desired, but the camera itself is wonderful and I would recommend it to my friends.

I've just bought this camera and I'm pretty happy with it. Some first impressions:GOOD:* Build like a german tank, as they say. Actually, it's a bit heavy, but not too bad.* Image quality is excellent in most situations.* It's fast to focus and to process images.* The customization options are pretty good. There could be more, but it's ok.BAD:* I miss a Manual mode with Auto ISO, like I've seen on the Pentax Kxx.* No pouch included? Cheap.* The HDR options are nice, but so slow. Like three seconds or more per shot, that's just not good.* Extra batteries are kind of expensive at 40. Get an alternative brand at half the price including an adapter.UGLY:* The screen scratches SO easily! Sony, you've been making cameras and smartphones since forever. Why put the toughest glass in the phones but not in the cameras?! The camera's been in my messenger bag for only a few minutes. There was a key and a metal usb thumb-drive, none very sharp or hard. The screen gained is scratched, not very deep, but in more than one place. I hope I can return this and get a screen protector for the replacement.

The case is priced right and well made. Two recommendations for improvement. 1) allow a bit more room to access both outlets (sony rx1002) without needing to remove the bottom half of case. 2) small pocket for a spare battery and storage card.

Nice quality, great design, only slight downside is that viewing screen can't be angled with case on, not a problem for us as don't tend to use but should be clear in the description.

At first I thought it was a nice looking case and it would protect the camera well but it doesn't have a nice fit with the camera. When snapped shut, there is a noticable gap at the top part of the camera. My biggest problem is that the snap buttons felt flimsy and, sure enough, after a few days, the button broke. I probably used the snap button less than 10 times.

Wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

The picture quality is amazing and the size makes it very portable.I love the amount of control the camera gives you if you need it.My only disappointment is with Sony's smartphone apps.Sony makes great hardware but they still don't get software.This camera is extremely powerful but the smartphone apps barely scratch the surface of what it can do.

This is a review of the bundle from Focus Camera, not the Sony RX100 II.

I was skeptical of buying this bundle after reading some of the other reviews about the camera being refurbished. However, the camera that I received in my bundle appears to be brand new. It came in a sealed Sony box with Sony documentation (instructions, warranty, etc).

In addition to the camera and some minor accessories, the bundle came with a Sony 64GB SDXC memory card and a Sony case, which made it a pretty good deal.

My Sony DSC RX100 fits the case perfectly. The case is very well made of strong leather with a magnetic stud on the underside to hold it closed. It is the only case I've seen that will attach to a belt. It also comes with a neck strap and a wrist strap but the wrist strap is too thick to attach to the camera. Not that it matters as the one supplied with the camera is just fine. The DSC RX 100 MK2. is 2mm thicker and probably would not fit.

I usually shoot with a Canon DSLR, but I wanted a second camera for "point and shoot" use that would be small and easy to carry for simple travel work. I did a lot of research and decided on this Sony because of its low-light capabilities, large sensor, and relatively fast lens. I have been really happy with it so far. It has so many features and shooting modes that it can handle many situations. Two particular features I like are : 1. the articulating view screen on the back, and 2. the flash head can be tilted backward to bounce the light off of a ceiling. The camera is truly small enough to fit in your jeans pocket. It is more expensive than a lot of its competitors, but the large sensor and great performance make it worthwhile for me.

I have used many Sony products over the years, but never a camera. I am extremely pleased with the quality of the images and the ease of use of the DSC-RX100MB2. I would highly recommend it to prospective buyers!

Having just purchased a Sony camera I needed a case for it. This was just the job. Only reason for not giving it 5 stars
(Would have given it 4-1/2). The moveable viewfinder is fouled by the back of the case and is difficult to release and adjust out wards. Otherwise perfect case.

I got this camera along with Alexander White's thorough user's guide. I was quickly impressed with the ease of use of the point-and-shoot options, and blown away with the quality of images shot in low-light. I'm moving on to using manual settings, shooting raw and taking videos--all well designed in this thoughtfully engineered camera. A few small quirks, such as the placement of the video button, are minor irritations. Over all, amazing.

Great package if only for the batteries/charger and memory! Camera is beautiful and takes great pictures. Easy to use if you have even basic understanding

Awful case..... does not fit. I will post pictures. Love the idea but seriously does not fit. Very disappointed as I like the idea.

MegaGear have an enviable reputation for making camera cases of good quality. This case is well made and the materials used are of high quality. However, the case is advertised as fitting the Sony RX100 II compact camera. This camera will NOT fit in this case as it is too small. This would have earned the case one star only but for the quality of manufacture. I reluctantly returned the case today.

Great camera - so far it has met all of my needs and the pictures are very good.
I wanted a top quality camera that would fit in my pocket (i've given up my dslr, since I found I just don't want to carry the weight around) and provide very good pictures and movies. Delivery was quick.

The order was placed on a Sunday and was received the next day. The camera is easy to use and the picture quality is excellent.

This camera replaces another 18.2 MP camera. The zoom range is much less than other cameras on the market, but the quality of color reproduction and clarity of the photos is excellent for the price of the camera. I am very happy with my purchase and the Zeiss lens.

I bought this case to cover and protect my new Sony DSC RX1002 and it fits perfectly. I love the fact that you do not have to take your camera completely out of the case, there is a snap you undo which flips open for the camera case and the lens and LCD screen are ready to use. I highly recommend this camera case for your Sony DSC RX 1002

I ordered this camera a couple of months back and I made beautiful photos with it. Everybody is surprised by the quality of the photos and people can't believe they were made with a compact camera. The camera performs extremely well in low light. I went to Las Vegas and was able to make astonishing pictures of all the lightened casinos during night, whereas my Samsung SII couldn't make something that was close to a picture. I can recommend this camera to everybody who wants a high performance camera without having to carry around one of these big heavy DSLRs.

Im happy with the camera so far with the exception of the non availabilty to use it via the android app to take pics remotely using my Saamsung Note 2. Sony basicaly forces you to by there Xperia for the 2 to be compatable. I would say just buy the RX 100 and not the M2.

I am really pleased with this case,comes with very good condition and looks as new, I like it very much

5 STARS - This camera does it all, so many features, options, a clear DSLR replacement in a camera that can fit in my pocket, which is exactly what I was looking for.

Will take me months to master all the features, but took less than 2 min. to start snapping my 1st pictures.

ONLY negative, the memories s/w does NOT run on Mac's, makes no sense to me, and who really cares, but would think Sony wouldn't ignore so many Mac users, would think that is right in middle of audience that they are trying to reach.
