Awful case..... does not fit. I will post pictures. Love the idea but seriously does not fit. Very disappointed as I like the idea.

MegaGear have an enviable reputation for making camera cases of good quality. This case is well made and the materials used are of high quality. However, the case is advertised as fitting the Sony RX100 II compact camera. This camera will NOT fit in this case as it is too small. This would have earned the case one star only but for the quality of manufacture. I reluctantly returned the case today.

Great camera - so far it has met all of my needs and the pictures are very good.
I wanted a top quality camera that would fit in my pocket (i've given up my dslr, since I found I just don't want to carry the weight around) and provide very good pictures and movies. Delivery was quick.

This camera replaces another 18.2 MP camera. The zoom range is much less than other cameras on the market, but the quality of color reproduction and clarity of the photos is excellent for the price of the camera. I am very happy with my purchase and the Zeiss lens.

I bought this case to cover and protect my new Sony DSC RX1002 and it fits perfectly. I love the fact that you do not have to take your camera completely out of the case, there is a snap you undo which flips open for the camera case and the lens and LCD screen are ready to use. I highly recommend this camera case for your Sony DSC RX 1002

I ordered this camera a couple of months back and I made beautiful photos with it. Everybody is surprised by the quality of the photos and people can't believe they were made with a compact camera. The camera performs extremely well in low light. I went to Las Vegas and was able to make astonishing pictures of all the lightened casinos during night, whereas my Samsung SII couldn't make something that was close to a picture. I can recommend this camera to everybody who wants a high performance camera without having to carry around one of these big heavy DSLRs.

Im happy with the camera so far with the exception of the non availabilty to use it via the android app to take pics remotely using my Saamsung Note 2. Sony basicaly forces you to by there Xperia for the 2 to be compatable. I would say just buy the RX 100 and not the M2.

5 STARS - This camera does it all, so many features, options, a clear DSLR replacement in a camera that can fit in my pocket, which is exactly what I was looking for.
Will take me months to master all the features, but took less than 2 min. to start snapping my 1st pictures.
ONLY negative, the memories s/w does NOT run on Mac's, makes no sense to me, and who really cares, but would think Sony wouldn't ignore so many Mac users, would think that is right in middle of audience that they are trying to reach.

The camera is great so far. It works great in low light and is very pocketable. This was my biggest concern, I have been missing lots of photos when I can't/won't lug my DSLR. The quality certainly is not as good as my Canon 5dm2, but for such a small package it is quite impressive.
The kit itself has a bunch of stuff you'll never need (Two mini tripods? A hand strap that is bigger than the camera?) plus some very helpful ones (extra batteries + charger, 64G SD card)

Does most everything extremely well for a compact camera. The only thing is that it is a little large for a compact camera, I can fit it in my pocket but it is a bit of a stretch, literally.

I purchased this camera because it allows portability with little sacrifice in capability. Since I own two professional DSLRs, I wanted an advanced smaller camera that I can easily take on a long hike or on a walk so that I can still take photographs without being weighed down with my full size equipment. In addition, it is a perfect little camera to take to events that prohibit professional cameras. I have found that one can use this Sony camera with presets, which are very good, or with all manual settings in JPEG or RAW or both. The wireless feature makes it simple and fast to send photos to a smartphone or tablet for instant emailing, Facebook posting, etc. I highly recommend the Sony DSC-RX100M II to anyone who values quality with portability and ease of use.

The camera is awesome, and am pleased with its low light performance. The feature that gets the most use is the NFC transfer to smartphone. Love that I can Instagram moments after taking the shot on my RX 100.
The bundle is good, if only for the travel tripod, the sdhc 64gb card. Would be good to throw in an external battery charger for the extra battery.

The BEST thing you can do to preserve the lens & value of this camera is to order/use Mega West's MegaGear Multi-Coated LENS ARMOR UV attached FILTER Sony Cyber-shot RX100, RX100 II. I bought several so if/when my filter got scratched, I could replace it immediately.Having & replacing an inexpensive but excellent lens filter is much better than ruining your lens. The only flaw (and I cannot really call it a flaw) of this camera is that the lens is vulnerable.

A great step up from a compact pocket camera. Wish for better feel on controls, but for a small camera all the functions are there. Will do fine till something better comes along. Replaces a Canon S100 and like the Sony better.

The camera is perfectly good except the charger is missing, the card reader is too slow to respond n the small tripod is not strong enough to do the suppport.

Having owned the earlier version of this camera, it continues to impress with its image quality and minimalist sizing. A really wonderful photo tool for folks who don't want to be bothered by bulk and weight but still seek good, memorable, photo shots. The addition of the hot shoe is appreciated although Sony''s "accessory" viewfinder is out-sized in both bulk and price. The pivoting LCD screen is a very major upgrade and much used. The accessory grip that Sony has created seems like a poor copy of Richard Franiec's original design but works well enough although it feels cheap.Overall, this is a great little camera for the photo enthusiast who values traveling light but well.

This camera has been great. I am still learning all the different features but with two kids ages 1 and 3 speed and ability to snap those action shots has been outstanding. Low light performance is another key we wanted and this camera has not disappointed. I only wish there was a classic viewfinder for those full sun days. We took it to Disney World with us and with the included carrying case through my belt loop it was very easy to carry around and fast to access. Much better than lugging my SLR.
