Great color depth and excellent for an amateur who wants great pictures. It is very forgiving and "helps" make the photographer look good!

This package was sick. All of the accessories that you might need in one package was awesome.
I don't need to talk about this camera. It is just that good. The photos that I have taken with this rival my $2,000 DSLR. Just make sure you are aware of the variable aperture when zoomed out. That can throw some folks off if your not paying attention. Also set your Fn button up for your most needed features and it makes navigating the menus a dream!
The package is OK. The camera bag is just big enough to fit the camera in. If you have anything extra it just will not fit.
The battery is great, and the SD card is perfect size.
The card reader that was pictured is not the one that you get in the box. You actually get a better one that is more compact, so I liked that.
Haven't used the remainder of the items yet, but you get what is pictured.

This is a well made case but it should be at the price! The build quality is good but the press studs don't always hold when you open the case to take a photo, which is inconvenient when you have to pick the case off the floor! In addition the webbing straps do not look a good quality and rather cheapen the overall look. This was nearly a really high quality product but just didn't quite meet full expectations.

I'm very happy with the picture quality. And the wifi and NFC work as they are suppose to when transferring pictures to my smartphone, the samsung galaxy s4, when using the sony play memories app. I did, however, have trouble when using a 64gb Sandisk card. Photos would not transfer unless I used a card no bigger than 32gb. Than I had no trouble transferring.The accessory hand/finger grip Sony sells, when placed on the camera, will not fit in Sonys black camera case (Sony LCJRXC/B Jacket case for DSC-RX100 series (Black). So I'm looking for some kind of suitable case to carry the camera in now that I have the hand/finger grip attached.I bought the OP/TECH USA 3401002 Compact Sling for Cameras (Black), as well as the OP/TECH USA Cam Strap - QD (Black). Which I believe are perfect for using with this camera. The across-the-body sling, and the wrist strap, each have the same quick disconnect attachment so you can easily and quickly change from one carry/shooting type to another. I highly recommend.

Great point and shoot camera for a person who doesn't want tolug their SLR. Could use some dedicated buttons for ISO.

It's similar to the RX 100 that I've been using, except that the lens is faster and wider. But the real killer feature is the viewfinder. It's bright, sharp and easy to use. The photographic quality is outstanding. The lens doesn't go out as far as the previous versions, but at 20 megapixels it doesn't matter. You can crop the image and have plenty of resolution. You'll love the way you can flip the screen to do a selfie -- if you're so inclined. Get an extra battery -- just in case.

This is a great camera. Takes really good photos, is fairly compact and has lots of different settings. The sports mode has been particularly good at my son's basketball games.

Got the camera within 18hrs after ordering it. That was nice. I had a lot to learn to be able to get all I wanted out of it. Played around with it for 2 weeks. Then took it to a trip to Las Vegas, Zion and Bryce National Parks. Good movie quality. (Zoom was slow and exposure was a little tricky - in move mode only.) Surprised by how well soo many pictures came out. High Rez screen better than most. Lots of envy from everybody I showed pictures to. Very pocketable. Hiked with it in my cargo pockets. In the end it had scratches and wear all over the body and on the screen. Had to blow the grit out of the top knob. The action on the rotating ring on the back is not what it originally was as I used it soo much backing to review pics I had just taken. I was never silly enough to put this camera in my pocket with keys or coins. That is just stupid. In short I used it hard and still very pleased. I took some incredible pictures of the milky way out in the parks and away from lights. 1.8, 3200 ISO and 20 second exposure. Amazing. Good low light pics. Fast from off to picture taken. Missed almost nothing. Friends couldn't dodge me. Fast good Auto focus. The zoom really slows the exposure. Wish zoom was a more like 5X or 8X. Panorama function is a little tricky. HDR is good. I wish it had more knobs for adjustments. I'm not a fan of working through menus to do stuff. Pricy but only the very picky will be disappointed. But for the size very hard to beat.

Camera was just what I was looking for, something small enough to carry beside you in the car and be able to take the picture you only wished you could take before. I looked for 3 months before I purchased this camera, comparing it against everything I could see. They still describe this as a point and shoot, but this camera is well beyound that. If anyone is looking for a camera this is it, look no further.

Just picked this up (not on amazon for incogneetus reasons) and I'm playing with it at the bar... Hole Lee Shale Mining.
The only thing that made me want to post a review immediately is that this thing takes a shot at the instant you hit the shutter. Like, its a monster. Hit the button, and the shot is captured. You can feel the muscle flexing at the instant you tell it to do something.

I am amazed by how small this camera is, its multiple features, and what great photos it takes in dark places. The package is the way to go and Focus shipped it out quickly. I own a Nikon D300 and it takes some effort to lug it around. I wanted a small camera for travel that approaches DSLR quality and this camera appears to fit that function. Its quality is well above a point and shoot. It has many useful intelligent scenes and does a great job selecting them automatically, or you can shoot manually. Wifi is easy to set up with an iPad and the ability to tilt the LCD is a great feature. I have only two negative comments. First, the users manual is not complete (many "add details") and you don't get a printed copy or even a CD. Second, Focus advertised a battery charger in the package. Instead, I received a disk reader. The second issue wasn't a big problem because I was going to order a Sony battery charger anyway.

I bought this because I was sick of crappy iphone photos at concerts. It does a great job of handling higher ISO, I love that it has manual controls and that you can shoot in RAW if you want, or you can shoot smaller jpegs if you want, too. The photos are fantastic, and the movies are great, too! I love that it fits in my purse or pocket when I'm out and about. My other two cameras that I use are Nikon DSLR's (D700 and D800). I don't always want to lug those around, so this has been a great alternative so far. :)

excellent camera for a novice photographer and easy to carry around. I have sony slr and nex cameras and it all went to waste,
have to use different lens for applications and it's not suitable for me. I am sorry I spend so much money in the past when a
camera like the rx100m3 would have filed all my requirements.

there was a problem with defective charging cords in many of the originally shipped cameras. I returned this camera. I was able to identify the problem at the local camera store where I bought it after returning the one I bought online.

Nice little camera. A little bulky. Much heavier than a Coolpix size camera. Problem with batteries. Battery life is very low, so you need at least one extra battery and ideally a battery charger instead of having to charge the batteries in the camera via USB cable.

It may accommodate the M1, but I still don't rate it highly, as the supplied strap is far too flimsy to trust with a camera like this, and the lining of the case was very poorly attached, not stuck down properly.
Will be returning.

I liked it a lot, but it is NOT a pocket camera. It is too large and too heavy for that purpose. It wasn't a good fit in a jacket pocket, for the same reason. It is a terrific camera otherwise.

Absolutely love this camera. It is easy enough to pull out and shoot but advance enough for many photographer as a secondary camera when you don't want to bring the big one out.
It is portable and is always in my bag. Works very well in low light. Good dynamic range. Plenty of features that makes advance users happy.

I am a serious amateur photographer who has a safe full of big iron. As I got older and the need for the big iron was not so pressing, I bought this camera on the hope I could learn to be happy with "point and shoot". I was amazed with the results of the Zeiss lens. This is a serious camera with roughly the same shooting capabilities of the Canon EOS I use. It is overendowed with options I will never use but it produces a raw image from the big sensor that is professional quality and easily manipulated in Lightroom. I still have to get out the big iron to shoot airshows or athletic events where long lenses are necessary but I find this little camera meets 95% of my shooting needs. The only wish I have for Sony is they design a better application of the shoe so large flast units can be attached and become a part of the shooting program of the camera.

Great camera. I love it. Picture quality is fantastic. I am still exploring the many options it offers I first used it on vacation took Simone great pictures. I was looking for point and shot ended up spending more money but I am very happy.

This is a great camera. I struggled with the decision to buy it since I am a relative novice when it comes to photography but I am glade I made the investment. Pictures are beautiful and there is plenty of info on the internet about this camera if you don't know much about all of its features.

Great Camera. I do hiking a lot here in Hawaii and I used this camera a lot to take pictures. good quality picture. Easy to use and light weight, perfect for hiking and everyday use.
