Excellent Ragged DesignThe best external hard disk I ever had.I can now have more confidence but never 100% that my data is safe.I once lost all my American Scientist magazines from 1993 to 2009 because of a small side hit during a flight. The disk was not HUMMAR enough :) No need to mention names as it is my carelessness to blame.But really, a mobile data container should withstand normal hassle and bustle of a mobile life and not need to be nursed all the times.The in-house mini-USB is a brilliant usability feature.Peace to all and safe data :)

Great product! Does everything that it describes. Solid machine that is durable, you won't need another hard drive once you have this.

I received the Silicon Power Rugged Armor external drive a couple of weeks ago. Since, I have been loading it with files. Today, while adding more files to the drive a wheezing sound started and it broke down. Now it is not responding to commands to open files!

I had to wait for this one for more than 2 weeks as it remained out of stock for quite sometime. I finally got it last week. It feels strong, doesn't heat up, good speed, perfect size, 1TB capacity and very quite. I have not done the dust, water or impact testing but have been using it quite rough. After using it for a week I feel this is THE ONE I was looking for all this time. Quite pleased with the product SP010TBPHDA80S3B.
