You get what you pay for. Device seems very sturdy and it has been reliable so far. I looked at cheaper hard drives but I do believe I've made the right choice. It doesn't come with a proprietary cable. You get 2 cables, 1 short cable conveniently located on the hard drive and 1 longer cable to carry if you need it. Thanks Silicon. I highly recommend this product.

This is GREAT for soldiers that are deployed they can download tons of things, and it's small, light weight and easy to install and best of all GREAT for while deployed! Hold sooooo much!

Nice, sturdy case...using it for a backup drive on my desktop...along with a Click Free backup interface. It's plug and play...works as advertised...what else can I say. I'd buy another when the time rolls around.

I have no complaints about this drive. It is compact and has a good build quality. It comes with to different length USB cables. I really like that the small cable has a storage space in the side of the unit.

worked for about 24 hours with the correct 931gb after formatting, then it became 722gb maximum. this hard drive isn't worth the price for 210gb less than advertised.

Works as described, have not attempted to beat it up mainly because I'm not mental. Its a bit loud but I have excellent hearing. So if your deaf and a clutz or have children who are reckless this drive is for you.
