It's all that I expected, very good as described on product's page, it has a great capacity and speed. Also it seems to be resistant. I'm very satisfied with this purchase and the price.

The auxiliary drive is good...small, light, and very compact. Uses no power source but USB (which is great). The one downside is the accompanying software. It's marginal (for me) at best. The explanations are not helpful... Therefore, if you have other backup software to use with this drive, use it.

The explanations are not helpful... Therefore, if you have other backup software to use with this drive, use it.

Great hard drive. Formatting it at first is difficult and would encourage having some computer literacy, or knowing someone who does.

Works just fine with the long cable, but the short cable doesn't work!The USB connection on the device itself is kind of wobbly - is this normal, is this part of its ability to withstand shocks? I love having a whole 1TB in my briefcase, but I'm a little worried about the wobbling USB connector.

Arrived earlier than I expected and am very pleased with the slim, compact size as well as the simplistic functionality this external hard drive provides. Plugged it in and was using it immediately. Easily portable and the small cord included (in the side) is very convenient when working away from my docking station (although, I have to use a pen to wedge it out of there to use it). I am very happy with this purchase and plan to buy another to use for our home desktop pc.

This external drive is exactly what they say it is, when i watched the review on CNET. I have been through a lot of external drives for backups and by far, this is the most durable and fastest one I have used to date.

You get what you pay for. Device seems very sturdy and it has been reliable so far. I looked at cheaper hard drives but I do believe I've made the right choice. It doesn't come with a proprietary cable. You get 2 cables, 1 short cable conveniently located on the hard drive and 1 longer cable to carry if you need it. Thanks Silicon. I highly recommend this product.
