I have had it less than a week but so far works great! Way faster than usb 2.0. I transferred some files using 2.0 and it took 30-45min and then i plugged it into usb 3.0 and the same files took 3.5minI Did allot of research and it seems this is the best portable drive out there that is truly portable.

I transferred some files using 2.0 and it took 30-45min and then i plugged it into usb 3.0 and the same files took 3.5minI Did allot of research and it seems this is the best portable drive out there that is truly portable.

Just got it. Loaded about 360 GB worth of photos onto it with no hitch. Of course the important part about these is whether it will keep working, so I will keep everyone posted if it should fail (I do of course have it backed up on 2 other external hard drives in case) and if I need to take advantage of their warranty. But, it looks solid, and features of it being rugged are nice.

As I write this the description says this drive is compatible with both USB 2.0 and 3.0. The product packaging says nothing about USB 2.0. The drive is USB 3.0 only.
