Looked at this one a good while before purchasing. This is a decent piece of equipment for price. Not meant to rattle the windows, just add a little bass inside. Works better if you don't turn the bass all the way up.

First, thanks to those of you who posted your own reviews on this product. Your reviews, good and/or bad, help me in my decision making process. I recently purchased this Pioneer 10" flat subwoofer to add some bass to a modest sound system. Kenwood double din receiver, Rockford Prime 4 channel 400 watt amp which powers a set of infinity kappa door speakers and this bridged subwoofer. Installed in an '04 Silverado. The subwoofer sits almost perfect under rear seat. The mounting bracket is a tight fit on the door side because of the seatbelt mount but can be accomplished. This solid sub tightly mounted provides plenty of hard base even at moderate amp settings (low gain and low punch-eq). I am very happy with my purchase.

Most of reviews you read on here have been accurate. I have had this sub for about 5 months now, and it still continues to surprise me! It did take a couple of months to settle in, but I find the sub to be a nice addition to complete my car's sound system. I feel like it's been hitting harder as of late. While it won't shake the ground or the car next to you, it definitely shakes mine with certain hip-hop! I listen to a variety a music, and this sub has managed to perform perfectly with each genre. It rounds out rock quite nicely while providing the thump in hip hop. I have a Honda s2000, which means space is an issue. This is a downfiring sub, so you can place groceries, etc on top of it while minimizing the amount of trunk space taken. In the s2000, the sub fits perfectly in the recessed well with 2-4 inches to spare on one side and top, depending on how you align it.
I am very very very happy with this purchase. It won't give you the low low's of a 12", but it gets pretty close. I give it 5 stars because it does everything it's supposed to do, and a little more.

sounds awesome on my 2004 f-150,enough bass for me ,had to modify the box a little to fit under seat but looks great under seat and takes away no foot space at all i recommend this product

Their are two Watt ratings for subwoofers, nominal Watt rating, and maximum. The nominal Watt rating for this product is 200 Watts rms. Maximum is 800. It is important that it is specified and acknowledged before you decide to purchase. I knew all of this beforehand, but had seen that there was confusion in the past because the seller failed to specify in title. Pioneer quality subwoofer that impresses me. It compares to my deep box 10" 1k Watt subwoofer that I used to own of the same brand. You cannot go wrong with buying this. Do not forget to break it in, but even under half volume it packs a nice punch.

I Installed this sub in my 2010 Tundra. I have it mounted under the rear driver side seat. It fits great with no issues. I'm impressed with the amount of bass with just 150 watts going to it. Sounds great!

Have a small pick up fits perfectly with plenty of sound couldn't be happier have had other bulky boxes and no room for anything else this solves the problem

I read somewhere that if you want to hear the bass install one of these. If you want to feel it install two.

I ordered two to install in my 2011 F150 Super Crew.
They fit perfectly under the rear seat when it is down. I rarely have passengers so they are laying on the floor on the driver side. They are concealed under the rear seat when it is down. However, that doesn't matter much because I have two Rockford Fosgate amps stacked in a custom shelf behind my seat.
I had two 10 inch JL subs in a box driven by a 400 watt amp in the trunk of a 1998 Chevy Malibu. These subs sound better and feel just as good. All of the windows, the side mirrors and the rear view mirror vibrate nicely.
A high quality sub in a custom, quality, finished box. Really, really nice.
For the money - it cannot be beat.

I rocked this subwoofer hard in my 2002 Nissan Frontier (was able to fit it behind the back seats) until it succumbed to the wounds of over playing. I had this hooked up to the recommended Pioneer GM-D7500M Class-D Mono Amplifier with 800 Watts Max. Power, and it sounded great but like I said it blew out after only a few months.
I'm not entirely sure if I would buy this product again but I did appreciate this subwoofer while I had it. If you're thinking about buying this and you're a casual music player who would like a little more bass in your system then I would highly recommended this product. If you're a deaf defying noise head like me who wants some serious action as you're cruising in your ride then I would probably go a little higher in quality, not saying this is bad by any means, but it has a shorter limit.

For the size of this and being sealed, it's cazy the bass it puts out. I have it running off my Kenwood KAC-1502S amp bridged at 150W. It sounds as good as my 12" ported sub it replaced. Cleaner bass too. Not to mention it fits under the rear seat in my Honda Odyssey and is not seen at all. The more it breaks in I'm sure the sweeter it will sound.

I put this under the back seat of my Avalanche because I didn't want to mess with the removable rear panel they have. Although there is plenty of room there. It sticks out a few inches in front of the seat but still leaves room for ones feet. The sound is incredible. I didn't want to rattle the windows in the cars around me but I did want to feel that punch you get with a good sub. This one does the trick nicely. I think the 8 inch version would have been enough also. Sounds great. i highly recommend it.

I put this in my 08 Titan and WOW! This thing packs plenty of punch! I love the downward facing sub, nice to know its not going to get damaged that way. It hits plenty hard on all types of music, but not to the point where your vehicle becomes a rolling rattletrap. I listen mainly to hard rock, but it also jams with every other kind of music I've tried with it. It fits perfectly below my rear passenger seats, no interference at all.

I have never been much on deviating from factory stereo installation but Good G All mighty these things thump. I went Pioneer all the way from the x700 receiver to replacing front and rear door speakers with Pioneer tri axels and a 1100M amp pushing a pair of these I am pleased My truck sounds better than a concert hall at any volume with no distortion.

This sub sounds so good. Clean, punchy bass when needed. Deep booming bass when desired, as well. It would be great if it fit up under the seat, but the way it is made, it is out of the way in the back of my 2003 Jeep Liberty.

I purchased this subwoofer because I was looking for a small enclosure that would take up very little space but still provide the lower end frequencies that I miss so much. I also had an old Rockford Fosgate punch 60 amplifier (from the 90's, before they cheapened their brand) that was laying around and decided to put to use. The enclosure fits perfectly on the floor behind my passenger front seat in my suburban.
Now, coming from a subwoofer setup in the past that contained two 12 inch Punch speakers, I was prepared to be very unimpressed with a single 10 inch. But I have to say, this speaker was a welcome surprise! It handles the lower frequencies much better then I expected. My system sounds very clean now and am very happy with this purchase. I would recommend this product to another adult who enjoys and misses the lower frequencies of music without sacrificing too much space, and also appreciates the ridiculousness of vibrating your neighbors out of bed.

First off thank you Amazon Prime I ordered Saturday night and it magically arrived Monday.
Upon arrival I opened it and quickly unplugged my large Polk MM 12 inch sub (dual voice coil) and put this Pioneer to work. I could barely notice the difference with the same amp settings and very impressed with this thing. I have an 1800 watt amp which I will downgrade soon to match this 800 watt sub and not overpower it. Also planning to place this under second row seats in my Tahoe.
I would look no further unless you are a gangster and want to annoy everyone driving near you, or just enjoy overpowering bass!

If space is a issue, this 10" sub is the way to go. Fits easily behind the seat of a small truck. TEracing is a Great place to start looking for any stereo equipment you may need. Customer service is awesome and their prices is hard to beat. If it came down to just a few bucks it's worth the piece of mind knowing they will stand behind what they sell !
