I do not recommend putting this sub in a trunk unless you have a hatch! I have a 4 door civic and had it in the trunk with the Boss1100. It had a little punch but once I got up to 50mph it was fairly subtle. I then realized that with the size of this I could fit it behind my passenger seat and now I am happy. I have to keep the sub volume knob at about 30% or else it becomes extremely loud. As stated it will not win competitions but seeing as I have my full trunk and people can still sit with their feet on the sub I call it a huge win. Pretty happy with this purchase (again just don't expect alot of bass in a trunk!)

This fits perfectly in my Jeep Wrangler TJ Sahara. I have the metal "trunk", and this paired with the Kenwood KAC 8105D 1000W Class D mono amp, is a perfect combination. The amp will fit either on the inside "roof" of the lockable trunk space, then the sub must lay flat (because of the tie down bars on the floor), OR the amp will mount very nicely to the angled "wall" and the sub will stand up. When it stands up, it fits so nice, it won't fall over, and slides very little.
The sound is amazing. I could not be happier, as I didn't expect ANY deep bass in a Jeep Wrangler. This thing is awesome.

I am using this in my 2013 VW GTI with a JBL MS-8 processor. Are there better performing subs out there? I'm sure there are but in this price range? Probably not many.
I was looking for a sub to more round out the low end and not something overbearing. This one works for me perfectly.
A cool feature for me is how easy it is to disconnect if I need to haul a lot of gear in my hatchback. I rarely need to move it though because with its sturdy tabletop like design I can lay even heavy objects on top of it.

i was surprised at the bass that this little speaker puts out. I put it under the rear seat of a 98 explorer and it fits pretty well. I was sick of removing my old sub box from my truck every time i had a large item to haul. Im glad i found this product, most people don't realize you have a sub until you crank up the volume

Bought this just last week, put it in with the Boss Audio R1100M Mosfet Monoblock Power Amplifier with Remote Subwoofer and it sounds amazing. For the price you can't get much better!

sounds good, however people claiming they put it under the seats of their civics etc... highly unlikely
As I have a mariner, the floor to seat spave is of the largest I'd ever seen, and it's too big... onto plan B stickin it in the back.
But the whole reason for choosing this style is to avoid subs in plain view and taking up cargo space

Wanted a nice full sound without sacrificing space in my S10 Blazer. I have a pretty small amp powering it and it still provides good sound that you can not only hear but feel. Hits Hard for being a single 10 and there is no distortion even when I crank it.
Best part is I still have plenty of room for gear and people for camping and off-roading.

2012 F150 Super cab. This fits perfectly under the drivers (left) rear seat with the jack removed. Sounds good with the BOSS R1100M. definitely won't blow your doors off but it's a good addition to the OEM system w/o taking up additional space.

I screwed this baby onto the floor beneath the passenger side rear seat.
This is a VERY powerful subwoofer. I have it coupled with a Rockford Fosgate Prime R300-4 300-Watt Multi-Channel Amplifier.
Excellent sound and pounding.

Ive had 2 honda civics that had 2 10"subs in the trunk prior to my purchase of a new truck. Ive always needed loud music in my vehicles because I LOVE music. I then found out that my 2004 ford f150 lariat didnt have any room behind the back seats so I knew I had to find some small to go under the seat.....after a month long of researching and browsing for the a box and a sub everywhere on the web, I ran into this box set.....ive read all the reviews and was skeptical about the amount of power it could possibly let out....WOOOOW!!!......It's so much more clear than my other systems in my civics....I know the fact that the sub is in the cabin and not in the trunk has a lot to do with the sound quality, but still blown away by the power this puts out....I paired it with a mono amp from boss (also purchased on amazon, $50 strongly recommended). Bottom line, I dare you to find a sub and a perfect box for $130 anywhere on the web.....impossible.....I never leave porduct feedback (as you can tell by this long story) but ive never been this surprised and this satisfied from one product ever....but then again, it may feel that way since I only spent $130+free shipping......

Speaker did not work . But I love the box so I ordered another speaker elsewhere wasn't same brand but it has same watts an it works .So I took their speaker out an put the one I bought in box .in other words I paid $100 for a box .

Nice little woofer! Fits great in the back of my extended cab Cummins, I put a Alpine MRV-M500 Mono subwoofer amplifier - 500 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms with it and couldn't be happier with the price and function of the combo.

I had to make a lot of adjustments to my rear bench seat to fit this under my Ford Extend-a-cab pick up, but after I got it in place I am very happy with the sound.

I LOVE THIS LITTLE WOOFER. PIONEER MADE A WOOFER FOR THE PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY WANT TO BE ABLE TO HEAR WHEN THEY GET OLD. LOL

Speaker is way smaller then it appears in pics, the speaker is weak sauce, not very loud and no bass what so ever. I would be trying to get as refund if I hadn't thrown all the packaging away. The speaker is so weak a friend gave me a 10 inch sub, it's a Dual and it makes that Pioneer sound like ear phones lol. Talk about $100 + dollars wasted b/c the speaker is just sitting in the back of my car not in use because it sucks!!!

Be careful, the nominal rating on this sub is only 200 watts. I bought this and paired it with Pioneer GM-D8601 Class D Mono Amplifier and the sub blew in about 15 minutes. Do yourself a favor and get the Pioneer TS-SW2501S4 10-Inch Step Up Shallow S4 and buy the PIONEER UD-SW100D SHALLOW SERIES SUBWOOFER ENCLOSURE (10"", DOWNFIRING) separately. You will find it fits perfectly and super easy to install. The Pioneer TS-SW2501S4 is rated at 300 watts and so is the amp. It's a WAY better made subwoofer and packs a lot of punch for a shallow 10" I've been very happy with the setup and fits very nicely in my trunk with very little loss of space.

This Sub is the perfect size to set under the backseat of my ranger. It inst in the way of the passengers when they sit down at all ether. Id recommend it to all my truck friends!

MUCH more bass than I expected from a single subwoofer of this size. I'm not looking for obnoxious bass that my neighbors can't stand and that also rattles my license plate and everything else on my car. If you want an ample amount of bass for your own listening, look no further. I have mine paired with the amp linked below, and I don't have it turned up more than halfway for my needs.

This is a nice addition to my hatchback, because I like the option of taking out the amp, or putting it someplace other than my trunk when I'm carrying a lot of gear around and have to put the back seats down.
It gives a nice sound, plenty of bass. It's not going to boom, but it's loud enough for me not to crank it up all the way (at the amp). I listen to a range of music (rap, r&b, rock, indie rock, bachata, rock en espanol).
Nice, inexpensive way to round out the sound from your speakers.

Wow i love this sub sounds really good deep clean bass, it doesn't sound loud to disturb other people while driving but it sounds good inside my truck. Makes the floor shake and mirrors, I really like it fits under the back bench seat on my 1994 f-150 hides pretty good out of sight, so small but inside my truck sounds really good deep perfect clean bass. I would recommended to anyone with no enough space in their vehicles like me.

I bought this Subwoofer along with a Pioneer GM-D8601 Mono Amp running at 300 watts RMS and had them installed this weekend. Just an amazing piece of equipment, Its installed in my Scion FRS with the Pioneer Scion head unit and I don't think I have ever heard any Sub that was as good. It's almost too powerful. but with all the power available its super clean and rich sounds. I didn't get it with the intention of being able to make my Neighbors feel my bass as I went down the street but you can certainly do so. I'm extremely pleased with the purchase and the price was really very good.

i installed this along with a Boss amp in by Buick Enclave and gave me just the right punch for the space.Fills up the who vehicle nicely after some tweaking. For the price I wasn't disappointed.Great product
