So im not Bass head so from this small box allot off bass I had 12" Alpine type R with big box Bass was crazy but no trunk i used half of volume on my type R now i have quality bass and full trunk thank u Guys really happy with my purchase

If you are looking for a subwoofer to fit in a truck don't hesitate on this one, it's great! It sound very clear. I used a Boss Audio Riot Monoblock 1100 watt amp to push it and its doing great!

Great size for a Ten inch. I put it under the back seat im my 08 Avalanche. It up fires, You may need to take a jigsaw to two of the legs to get it to fit all the way but it dosent smack the plastic under the seat at all. Says 300watts RMS on the box, but if you pair it with a amp that can output 400 you can easily and safely put an extra 75 watts to it. as long as the signal is clean you can overpower a sub by a lot. I have the Precision Power i650.1 amp hooked up to this bad boy and running at 350 RMS great pair would buy again, I have had it for around 4 months now

I bought this Subwoofer/Enclosure after reading all of the favorable reviews on Amazon. I have a 1997 Honda Accord 4-door and had already upgraded the factory head unit (that only had a cassette tape player) to a highly recommended Pioneer DEH-X6500BT with Blue Tooth. Since I have an Amazon Prime account and Best Buy will match any lower price even for Amazon quotes and since I was already having them do the install while I was inside the store having my new Kindle Fire HD set-up and getting a free install of the screen protector this was a no brainer. With the savings I went for the speaker upgrade and if you go with matching brand Pioneer Speakers all around they discount the installation by $100. The Pioneer 3 way 6.5" fronts and the 3 way 6" X 9" rears sound great with this head unit and the rear speakers have a great mid-range bass but the low end was missing. I do have to set the fade to +2 towards the front or the rear 6 x 9's overpower the front speakers. I am very impressed with this Flat Subwoofer and Enclosure. It is mounted all the way in the front middle of the trunk - just behind the rear seats with a Boss1100 Amp mounted on top. I now have three options for how much bass I want from this arrangement. For tight but low impact I keep the rear seats up and the center armrest up. For more bass and a larger impact I can drop the center armrest and open the rear pass-through. This really opens things up and allows for a much greater impact and tighter response than having this fully closed in inside the trunk. For "Maximum Bass" I can fold the rear seats forward and then really have to lower the gain on the remote gain control for the Boss amp or I get way more bass than I need. Had to change the low bypass filter setting from 100db to 80db on the head unit to get a less muddled sounding low end and the 6 X 9's do such a good job with this setting that it sounds perfect. I have only had this running for two days now and it is really impressive. I have a very eclectic taste in music from Pop/R&B/Classic Rock/Smooth Jazz, conventional Jazz, Oldies, etc. With the remote gain control mounted just to the right of my right knee I can fine tune the bass response for any type of music without having to go through the menus on the head unit to adjust the Sub and with the added benefit of not having to take my eyes off of the road. The private installer who has done hundreds of subwoofer additions was so impressed with the quality, performance and low profile of this Subwoofer and Enclosure that he said he was going to get this for his wife's hatchback. When I told him it was bought and shipped for one twenty-five he couldn't believe it. He was totally blown away with the quality of this enclosure and said that 10 inches is the perfect size versus the 8" or 12" versions of this low profile setup. Can't wait to see how much better this will sound once it is fully broken in!

Don't waste your money on this ,had a complete system done stereo all speakers front 4ch amp 8604 / 9406 sub amp all pioneer sounded great for about a week then the sub stop working , amp was set on 1/4 pwr from shop about 300w after it blew took it back to stereo shop was told that i blew it out the volume on the radio was up to 18 ,,,,,,,,just 1 week thanks-but no thanks

A bit bigger than I thought it'd be, but the sound is great! I'm only running a 420 w amp and it sounds great! Enclosure is what you want and it takes no space in the trunk.

Fits great behind back seat of pick-up with some minor adjustments. Great sound with nice bass however if you want that "BOOM" bass, you won't get it here. That being said, I don't need "BOOM" bass anymore. So far the systems has handled everything I have thrown at it and still is asking for more. Haven't had any distortion as yet

It was great at first had it professionally installed in the first week of october of 2014, It is now december 5th and it has blown, i noticed a drop in output about a week ago, and it full on blew two days ago, I will admit I enjoy my music loud, however it was not overdriven or pushed to any abnormal limits, I did nothing to this sub to cause it to blow this quickly, Long story short it was wonderful in the brief time it worked but much to short lived.

I have this on its own amp ( Boss 1100 (about $60 here)) and just shoved under the back seat in my Chevy Silverado. I listen to all kinds of music and this speaker fills in the bass line really well. Nice and sharp where it needs to be

Sub hits very well for a shallow, and shipped pretty quick. It would have gotten 5 stars if it matched the description. The description says 93db and 400wt, box says 89db and 300wt. Thats more than double volume difference. And they used 14g wire inside the box to the sub. Other than that it does its job

I bought this 12/13 for my mom for Christmas and got it today 12/17, hooked it up to my 900w max pioneer amp in my car "to test it out" and it sounds better, fuller, and cleaner than my 12" pioneer that takes up 3 times the space, I will probably be getting one for myself after the Christmas season and replace mine, yes it sounds that much better

Fits under the seat of my 2000 f-150 and sounds great! Hits good. Very clean sound. I am new to sound systems in my truck (just started driving). And I can say that this was a very good sub to start with. I am pushing it with at 1000 watt amp and it works great! If you are new to sound systems and want to try out some subs and want something that can fit under any seat then this sub will work best for you.

This is the perfect sub woofer for a Jeep Wrangler with two doors. I needed something small to compensate for a lack of space in my Jeep. Because the Jeep didn't come with a factory sub, I wanted a little extra bang to go go along with the pioneer speakers and head unit I installed. Not only did this fit perfectly in my trunk(sub side facing down), but it is also sort of a theft deterrent. You can't tell it's a sub when looking through the back window and can also set things like groceries or even clothes on top so no one will know it's there. If you have a small vehicle like I do, this puts out plenty of bass and is the most efficient use of your money when wanting a little extra bass in your vehicle.

I've had it installed for about a week. It sounds really great. It puts out more sound than I thought it would. I paired it with the Pioneer GM-D8601 Class D Mono Amplifier which does a great job with this sub. The Pioneer website says the enclosure is tuned down to 20Hz but it doesn't really seem to hit notes that low. But, it is also a shallow mount 10" sub, so I was going to be really surprised if it did. For what it is and the price, I'm really impressed with this sub.

Driving it with an 100 digital amp pioneer. Is in my 1992 GEO prizm....is awesome. 8 soundproofed the trunk and it's off to one side. Fits as planned.😃

Not a good sound at all. All the people that reviewed this thing as great were way off. The one I received was noted as new but was in used condition.

YES! Super happy I bought it. I used the BOSS R1100M $55 amp to power it. I was not expecting it to be THIS GOOD! Go ahead and get the Boss Amp Kit if this is a new install. I also purchased the PAC Amp Add-on and made the install SO MUCH EASIER.
This fits under the back seat (facing down) in my 2010 GMC crewcab Sierra pick up. Takes very little room. The seat functions perfectly and doesn't bind or add extra pressure the box. Matches my black carpet, too!
Set the amp right, and you'll wonder how you ever listened to music w/out it. It's NOT el'cheapo... Not in the least.

I just received mine yesterday. First shipping was very quick and I actually received a day ahead of schedule so big thumbs up to Amazon on that. Now to the Subwoofer, for a box that is only made from 5/8th it was very well designed and fit perfectly underneath the back seats in my 07 Tundra DC, I could actually fit two of these underneath which I plan on doing for sure. And for those of you who say you can't, if you move the jack and spare tire changing equipment you can place two amps stacked like I have underneath the smaller seat, I will gladly post pictures in the tundra forums for people to see. I have this sub being powered by a HERTZ EP4 and let me tell you I am impressed can't keep the grin off my face, the bass is tight and accurate and fills out my music very well. This speaker is replacing a Rockford P3 that I had a custom box built for and it easily outperforms that sub, keep in mind the Rockford was facing up towards the seat and it sounded good, but this Pioneer sounds better. for a price point of $108 I couldn't be more satisfied. No it's not going to wake your neighbors or make the ground vibrate, but if you are a true lover of good sound and add a high quality amp to this sub you will be very pleased. I have had a system in every car I have owned since the age of 16 and I am 37 now so for people whom are budget minded I promise you will love this sub especially for those of you whom own trucks.
